CHK Reversal in the works? LONG is the answer Long

Descrizione

Earnings tomorrow and my dowsing and intuitive work led me to this one. I have indications of a longer term trend reversal. It may dip first, but should be bought.
If any of you know anyone doing kooky stuff like this, please send em my way.

I'm just gonna guess they don't lose as much as expected or some kinda good news, hang on tight! Could be a fun ride.

Commento

This sure isn't what I expected.
I did the reading 2 days before earnings by mistake, thinking they were the next day. That may have screwed with the results because I usually like to "read" within 1 day, or even hours from the release.
Regardless, I still have that this thing is gonna reverse. It's ugly and it might be 2 more days, but could get to $.77, maybe more in the longer term as I get the message of a longer term reversal of trend.

Commento

$.30 is a symmetry support, tho it seems to want to go to zero lol.

Commento

I think tomorrow 2/28 is the day for this thing. It might get to .23 and I feel VERY strongly this will have a short squeeze and we'll be RICH! (jk)

Trade attivo

She's coming to life!!

Commento

Ok, this is going to take a little time. I still like it and expect a reversal up. It seems like it could be some kinda news event and the date I'm getting is 3/10-11. I'm assuming that's this year. LOL. I hope!

I've read a comment on a marketwatch article that basically states what I have been thinking since it hit the 50 cent region, "it's a lottery ticket," and I just bought a tiny portion for a tiny amount of capital. Good luck to all of us on this one.

@JJMa, In legit miracle instances, people have found lottery tickets laying on the GROUND before... who knows.

@teh_salesman, yup, got caught up in the two day brutal sell off, thinking the worst was over, but just bought more now, still a tiny sum for a tiny portion, adding to my lottery ticket at 0.33. I figure I'm in the mood to lose $150 USD should this thing go bankrupt (I think even if it does, the experience of holding a stock that zeros out will be valuable), so the money is already lost in my mind. Also, they plan to do a reverse split, which is necessary I guess so they don't get de-listed, but such an action is bear fuel. Ovintiv just did a reverse spit and now it's fallen to half value. I am thinking the whole petroleum industry is a lottery ticket this afternoon, if most of this industry can survive the next six months, things should stabilize and shares can then build a base and stage a recovery - we shall see what Mr. market decides, the next month is critical.

@JJMa, I invested heavily right before this major 2 day sell off. Figures. You ain't kidding though. THE one and only stock I own right now, CHK going to zero would be one hell of a learning lesson. The money being lost already is definitely the right mindset. Yeah, a buddy of mine has been talking about CHK going bankrupt to 0 or a reverse split- sounds like he was right. Though, that's within the next 3 weeks I think- that's not to say something magical couldn't happen prior although slim. Even if they were to do a reverse split, they're still well under the dollar zone. I don't really see how it would help that much in that case but I am an amateur afterall.

The next month is definitely make or break. Considering everything runs in cycles though, I have strong doubts that CHK is headed to zero. This is the exact type of capitulation selloff that normally occurs in Crypto right before an epic rise after an accumulation period. Granted, Crypto is definitely a different beast when compared to stocks. Most stocks however seem to run that fear and panic driven capitulation right before a massive slap in the face though. I'm not hoping at this point. It's either zero or hero, but I won't be letting go of my shares until a huge trading opportunity presents itself. Even then, won't be letting go of much to trade with.

Lottery ticket indeed. Either it's worthless or the start of a new life. Even if the lottery ticket hits..
Mo money mo problems.

@teh_salesman, I am wondering why it has been sitting pretty just shy of 20 cents for the last week, short sellers might be spooked or waiting for a better entry. Hopefully in this chaos, maybe they won't have to do a reverse split. I know, that's even more of a pipe dream. There must be a few companies now in the same position and perhaps there might be a bit of grace granted to those that have fallen so far.

@JJMa, Considering the chaos, yeah, a lot of comanies are now starting to feel the pain. Thing is, I don't think CHK was ever going to do a reverse split anyway. All markets are fear and greed driven- the worse news, the more fear. Any time I'm browsing investing/trading discussions, I keep an eye out for CHK. A LOT of people hate on this stock. A LOT of people say it is headed to zero or at the very least, a reverse split. Haven't come across one mention recently of CHK anywhere that was in a good light.

...it gives me a stiffy. a big one.

Unfortunately, I capitulated back about a week ish or so ago. My emotions took hold and I sold my shares for a massive loss, just due to anger more than anything. I didn't stick to the plan and now because of it, I may get burned. Unless my theory/analysis on markets takes hold this next week, anyway.

After capitulating and regretting it very soon thereafter, I said screw it and just decided to instead possibly lose my money with options. No clue what I'm doing with them but I'm the type of person that needs to learn by doing. I feel a very large bounce coming in oil and moreso underappreciated stocks, the mid and small. Yet I still believe CHK has a lot farther to fall than where it is now. The best scenario for me would be for my options to play out nicely this week and next, so I can cash them out and then (hopefully) get back into CHK when it capitulates for real.

With the tremendous volumes present in this asset, I think we see an ABC bounce that could take a few months to trap FOMO buyers, then another massive drop. I think oil is bound for something like $8 a barrel eventually, if my analysis is correct. That would in theory mean the Corona panic will subside for a bit, things will have a more positive outlook, stocks and oil will bounce rather hard, then BOOM. The final drop that will make investors salivate at the opportunity and make the world panic. again.

US OIL has hit the target I had laid out for a huge HS pattern that it dropped from, at around $20. This is just the first test of oversold, though. Considering the strength of this global drop, I'm educatedly guessing that we will re-test lows again and because of it, people will get greedy. Especially when they realize that the Corona thing is just another method of maniulation en masse.

Sorry for how loud this screenshot is, but I'm eyeing up the 3.618 down at the bottom there. It'll take a month or two, or it may not even happen at all. Guess whale see.

@teh_salesman, Sorry to hear it. Lots of pain in the oil patch right now, especially today.

This is so cheap right now it makes zero sense. Fortune 500 company with 10B in rev + ~1B in profits in 2018. Going to reverse split which means positive PR is coming after that on a lower float. No idea why people are still shorting this, talk about asymmetrical risk/reward. Going long right now your risk is super low and your upside is incredibly high.
