🇮🇹 Versione Italiana
Analisi Tecnica Sintetica: Micro Gold Futures (COMEX) - 15 Minuti
Sentiment Direzionale: Short
Focus Strutturale: Area 4.040 USD (Resistenza Primaria)

Synthetic Technical Analysis: Micro Gold Futures (COMEX) - 15 Minutes
Directional Sentiment: Short
Structural Focus: 4,040 USD Area (Primary Resistance)
The 4,040 zone acts as an extremely solid bearish barrier due to the convergence of three key technical factors:
Fibonacci Retracement: Pinpoint confluence with the 50% level located at 4,042.5 USD.
Volume Distribution: Presence of the local POC/volume node, certifying a dense accumulation of contracts and acting as a static wall.
Order Block (15m): Coincides with the base of the supply zone originating from the previous bearish impulse, an area with a high concentration of sell-side liquidity (institutional pending orders).
Trading Setup (Short)
Trigger: Rejection confirmed by price action within the 4,040 - 4,045 USD cluster.
Intermarket Filter: Setup validation requires a rise in WTI accompanied by a strengthening of the DXY. This dynamic catalyzes demand absorption and triggers seller defenses.
Target: Extension of the short impulse towards the reference low at 3,955.3 USD.
Invalidation: Structural violation with a clear close above 4,045.0 USD.

🇮🇹 VERSIONE ITALIANA

🦅 Weekly Gold Analysis: Between Technical Bounces and Short Structure
Here we are again for the weekly analysis. Unfortunately, I didn't take daily notes this week, so I'll go through them directly during the analysis. I’m fresh from yesterday, telling you where we tasted a first decline in the dollar and yields. I’d love to show you the dashboard I use to trade gold, it's beautiful: it's four quadrants, starting from left to right: XAUUSD, DXY, WTI, and the last one, inflation-adjusted yields. Use this symbol: TVC:US10Y-FRED:T10YIE. That’s how I traded gold, but if I only had the dollar chart, I would have traded it anyway. Dollar up, gold down and vice versa: maximum precision. I wonder: how implausible was that thesis that wanted to destabilize the dollar? If the US dollar commands WTI and yields, then it means they are in full control.
I understood gold was long when, after the early week declines and after crossing the side channel resistance (4,000 zone, marked with a red "x"), which presaged a further decline, from the daily close that I put in yellow, the second candle opened above the previous candle's close. That single signal made me understand that gold would be long, and so it was.
But watch out for Friday: rather than a dollar drop, we are only talking about a small movement. I’ve put an extract of the $ daily chart for you to show you the opposite dynamic: a recovery reaction that visually confirms our inverse correlation. Now gold seems to be in a technical long rebound phase, but the setup remains short. We don’t care much if gold fell because Turkey or some other country sold their reserves: we read the chart; the rest is chatter, always welcome, but chatter.
Consider that we are below all three moving averages (50, 100, and 200), which confirms the structural pressure, but the last daily candle had a grand finale because it closed above the long-term trendline: another long signal. Congratulations to those who went long from the discount zone and held it!
The chart remains complex but readable for those who know where to look. Remember that there are two scenarios outlined on the chart, and both are still more than valid. Gold will always have its appeal because, with gold, money doesn't become waste paper and it saves us from all the world’s misfortunes. My feeling for next week: still long and then short again, but we’ll only know by living, as our Battisti sang.
Additional considerations:
The holding of the support in the 4,000 area was the true watershed this week. The operational confirmation came from the bullish opening "gap" of the second daily candle, which invalidated the hypothesis of an immediate bearish break, triggering a coverage of short positions. However, the rebound remains confined to a "short squeeze" or technical repositioning logic. For next week, the focus is on testing the lows: if the DXY consolidates the post-spike recovery, gold could accelerate downward again, making the current "long" only a tactical short-term window.

Gold 1H — Contrarian Long on OBs (high-risk setup)Gold 1H — Contrarian Long on OBs (high-risk setup)
Idea for the bold only. This goes AGAINST the trend and AGAINST the macro: anyone entering needs to know it.
H1 structure: price inside a bearish channel, below all MAs, confirmed short BoS sequence. Momentum is down. We're looking for a technical reaction off the OB LONG levels, not a confirmed reversal.
OB LONG levels:
4,088 (first touch)
4,070 (main zone)
4,047 (last OB, right above the 4,023 low)
Macro — against the long, stated clearly:
DXY +0.14% → against gold
10Y Real 2.255% → still high, against gold
BIAS(D) ↓ / BIAS(TF) neutral
VIX +18% but risk-off, dollar-supportive
The key condition is missing: DXY and real yields are NOT falling together. Until they turn down together, any long stays contrarian.
Scenarios:
60% bearish continuation → 4,070 → 4,047
30% technical bounce off the OBs (our long, to be managed tight)
10% real reversal (only if DXY turns down + real yields ease)
Execution: wait for a confirmed reaction at the level, no entry on a raw touch. Stop below the worked OB, tight. Target up on the move back into the channel.
⚠️ High-risk trade, against trend and against macro. For those who can manage risk and cut fast.

Update — the Dollar still holds the leash Update — the Dollar still holds the leash
Gold keeps pushing (+1.3%, now ~4209) but the divergence stands: fundamentals are all against. DXY, the 2Y and the real yield (2.235%) are still rising on the day → hostile macro backdrop. Price is climbing on flows/safe-haven demand (VIX +6%), not on the drivers. This is a fragile rally — don't chase.
⏰ Eyes on 15:00 CET: Christopher Waller (Fed Governor, FOMC voter, potential next Chair) speaks at the Conference on the International Roles of the U.S. Dollar. He leans dovish: if he confirms that tone → potential gold tailwind; if he surprises cautious/hawkish → DXY and yields up, Gold capped. Note: the topic is "the dollar's global role," so he may not touch rates at all → in that case, a non-event.
Watch the real yield (US10Y-T10YIE) and DXY. Only if they roll over does Gold get a solid base to extend. Until then, patience.

Eyes on the Dollar — it's calling the shots today👀 Eyes on the Dollar — it's calling the shots today
Gold looks like it wants to push higher, but the Dollar is holding it back.
On DXY (30m): bullish breakout of the triangle with a confirmed BOS and EMAs aligned. As long as it holds above ~100.70, the path points toward the 101.10–101.13 target.
On Gold: the intent is there — CHoCH off the 4121 low, now testing 4198. But watch out — price is still below the EMAs, the underlying structure hasn't flipped long yet. The rebound is alive but fragile.
The read is simple: the Dollar is holding the leash. If DXY reaches target, Gold struggles. If the Dollar rejects resistance, Gold gets room to run.
Don't watch Gold in isolation today: Dollar first, then react on Gold.

Sentiment: cautamente LONG, ma condizionato. Livello spartiacque: 4023. Sotto in chiusura, cambia tutto.

WEEKLY GOLD ANALYSIS (XAUUSD) — The Arena and the Cavalry
Week of June 13, 2026
Gold is confined to an arena between 4000 and 4250, where volatility rules and every level is a test of strength rather than a linear trend. Longs and shorts fight over every candle, and the latest one speaks clearly: on June 12, a doji with a long lower wick — price dropped to 4170 but was rejected and bought back, closing at 4216. A rejection on the lower front of the arena — the trench, for now, has held.
The Blue Coats — the yields — set the rules of engagement. Until they signal a decisive retreat (real yields falling), the Crazy Horse stays confined below the black moving average (the 200), barring the untamed burst typical of gold that overturns everything and everyone, analyses included.
That descent from the highs looks like a cascade effect: once it starts, the water finds its way down and is hard to stop. But beneath the arena's floor there is a net, and the doji on the lows seems to show it at work. Central banks keep buying: in the first quarter of 2026, net purchases of around 244 tonnes, a record value of 37 billion dollars, and 68% of them plan to increase reserves further despite the price drop. De-dollarization hasn't stopped — China, India, Turkey, Poland accumulate while speculators sell. They are price-insensitive buyers: they don't optimize entries, they execute mandates. That's why the cascade struggles to plunge into a vertical free fall.
Gold bows to no one: not to Rome, not to Washington. While Italian BTPs trade at 3.733% and U.S. Treasuries at 4.459%, the Crazy Horse runs in its arena, indifferent to borders. From one shore of the Atlantic to the other, those who can read the front fly high.
Sentiment: cautiously LONG, but conditional. A single doji is not a reversal: it needs confirmation from the next candle above the doji's high (4246). Watershed level: 4023. Below it on a close, everything changes.

THE ENGINE BEHIND GOLD — What Really Moves XAUUSD🦅 IL MOTORE DELL'ORO — Cosa muove davvero XAUUSD
🇬🇧 For English version scroll down ⬇️
Sentiment Fed — tagli o rialzi?

🇬🇧 English version
🦅 THE ENGINE BEHIND GOLD — What Really Moves XAUUSD
Real rates (rates minus inflation) are the core of everything. Gold pays no interest: when real rates rise, holding it has a "cost" and the price falls; when they drop, gold rises. But the move starts from expectations, not the decision already made — gold moves ahead of time, on what the market thinks the central bank will do.
The drivers, in order of importance:
Real rates and Fed sentiment — the main engine. What matters is the expectation of cuts or hikes, more than the current rate.
The dollar — the twin of rates. A strong dollar makes gold more expensive for buyers in other currencies, creating downward pressure. They often move together.
Inflation — it feeds into the real-rate calculation. On its own it would support gold, but if the Fed responds by raising rates more than inflation, the rate effect wins.
WTI / oil — it doesn't move gold directly: it's an inflation signal. Oil up → inflation up → rates up → gold down. If gold drops but oil is flat, the cause lies elsewhere (rates/dollar).
Safe haven — the wildcard. In war or panic, gold can rise even with high rates: the demand for safety beats the math of yields.
Tie-in to Friday, June 5: gold fell not because of inflation, but because of the much stronger-than-expected US jobs data (172k jobs vs. 85k forecast). Strong jobs → the Fed has fewer reasons to cut → yields and the dollar up → gold down. WTI was falling that day: confirmation that the drop came through the rates/dollar channel, not energy.
🦅 WHAT YOU REALLY NEED TO TRADE GOLD — The dashboard to keep watching
Trading gold without watching the macro context is like flying without instruments. Here's the dashboard to check every time, before any trade:
US yields — 10-year Treasury → US10Y — the number-one driver. Yields up = gold under pressure, yields down = gold supported. It's the effect of sentiment on hikes/cuts: the market moves on expectations, even before the Fed decides.
The dollar → DXY — the twin of yields. A strong DXY makes gold more expensive for buyers in other currencies, acting as a brake. They often react to the same news together.
Fed sentiment — cuts or hikes? It's the trigger for everything. Watch: jobs data (NFP), inflation (CPI/PCE), Fed members' statements.
WTI / oil → USOIL — the forward signal of inflation. Oil up → expected inflation up → rates up → gold down. ⚠️ Indirect channel: on Friday WTI was falling, so gold's drop did NOT come from energy — flat oil itself confirms the cause was rates/dollar.
Geopolitical risk (safe haven) — the wildcard. In war or panic, gold rises even with high rates.
The hierarchy to remember: yields (US10Y) and the dollar (DXY) at the center → Fed sentiment as the trigger → inflation and WTI (USOIL) as the chain that leads there → safe haven as the wildcard in moments of fear. When these instruments tell different stories from one another (like Friday: gold down but oil down), that's exactly when you understand where the move really comes from.
🦅 RATE EXPECTATIONS — Tools and dates to monitor (Fed + ECB)
Gold moves on the expectation of cuts or hikes, not on the decision already made. Here's where to read those expectations and when the events that can flip them arrive.
Tools for Fed expectations (US):
CME FedWatch Tool → www.cmegroup.com — shows the market-implied probability of cuts/hikes for each meeting. The main thermometer.
US10Y (10-year Treasury yield) and DXY (dollar) — react in real time to shifting expectations.
Data that moves expectations: jobs (NFP), inflation (CPI/PCE), Fed members' comments.
Tools for ECB expectations (Eurozone):
ECB-Watch → ecb-watch.eu — the ECB equivalent of FedWatch: market-priced probability of cuts/hikes at each meeting.
EUR/USD — sums up the Fed-vs-ECB expectations gap.
Key data: Eurozone HICP inflation, PMIs, Governing Council statements.
📅 Fed (FOMC) meetings 2026 — decision at 2:00 PM ET: January 27-28, March 17-18, April 28-29, June 16-17, July 28-29, September 15-16, October 27-28, December 8-9. Next: June 16-17.
📅 ECB meetings 2026 — decision at 14:15 CET: March 19, April 30, June 11, July 23, September 10, October 29, December 17. Next: June 11.
⚠️ In the 24-48h around these dates, gold volatility spikes: a single comment can move the price in seconds. Plan your positions accordingly.
🦅 ROYAL EAGLES — Born to fly, born to dare.
Gold's two main drivers: Real Yields & the US Dollar🦅 Gold's two main drivers: Real Yields & the US Dollar
This chart overlays the two macro forces that most consistently drive gold: the 10-Year real yield (10Y Treasury Inflation-Indexed Security, in blue) and the US Dollar (DXY, in orange).
Notice how closely they track each other. They tend to rise and fall together because both respond to the same thing: market expectations about the Fed. When the Fed is expected to stay tight, both climb. When it's expected to ease, both fall.
Both are inversely correlated to gold. Gold pays no yield, so its real competitor is the return on a safe bond after inflation (the real yield). When real yields and the dollar are high, holding gold has a high opportunity cost. When they fall, gold has nothing to give up.
The takeaway, read off this chart:
When the two lines rise together → double brake on gold
When they fall together → double push in gold's favor
When they diverge (one up, one down) → the signal gets murky, better to wait
A useful habit: watch these two before forming any view on gold. They won't explain every move (central-bank buying and geopolitics can override them), but they are the structural compass.

Be stable. Be strong. 🦅

🇬🇧 English version
Weekly Technical and Quantitative Analysis: XAUUSD
1. Market Structure and Trend (4H Chart)
Main Trend: Price is moving within a medium-term descending channel. Decreasing highs confirm the structural corrective phase under the pressure of the bearish dynamic trendline (red).
Compression Phase: The market is located in the terminal section of a wedge structure, trapped between the descending trendline and the bullish dynamic support (solid green line).
2. Key Levels and Volumes
Critical Resistance (4576): Static level that invalidates the short-term bearish bias in case of a breakout.
Psychological Support (4500): Convergence area with the long-term bullish trendline, currently breached by the price.
Major Static Support (4400): Horizontal liquidity level.
Current Price (4357.77): Under pressure and positioned below the main intermediate static supports.
Volume Profile (POC 4200): The main volumetric Point of Control remains the primary magnetic target of the ongoing distributive structure.
3. Institutional Flows Analysis (COT Report)
Positional data mathematically confirm the chart structure:
Sharp Contraction in Open Interest (-25,836 contracts): Signals a structural liquidation phase. Total market contracts drop to 353,489, highlighting divestment.
Large Speculators Liquidation (Non-Commercial): Funds drastically reduce Long exposure (-10,314 contracts) at twice the pace of Short closures (-4,741 contracts). The net collapse in Spreads (-20,710 contracts) underscores the systematic dismantling of bullish hedges.
Commercial Profit Taking (Hedgers): Hedgers close 25,903 Short contracts, monetizing bearish positions as price aligns with the decline.
4. Wyckoff Model (Royal Eagle)
Algorithm Status: The control panel validates the distributive phase with stable signals of "ON DIST wins" and "ON FORCED SHORT".
Trading Bias: The technical and volumetric combination keeps the setup under the total control of the sellers.
Trading Scenarios
Bearish Scenario (Primary): Holding prices below the 4400-4500 area validates the continuation of the distributive pressure toward the volumetric target of the POC at 4200.
Bullish Scenario (Alternative): A recovery requires a volumetric breakout of the red trendline and consolidation above the 4576 level.
Conclusions and Sentiment
My current sentiment on the gold market is strongly short, supported by a perfect convergence between the dominant distributive structure on the chart and the liquidation of Long contracts by large speculators in the COT report.
🦅 The Eagle has the plan. But it is ready to change it in the blink of an eye.
🐎 CRAZY HORSE — THE CRAZY HORSE OF THE MARKET
Gold dances in the middle like Crazy Horse free in the prairies, no one dominates it, no one manages to ride it except for a few minutes, no one — not even the strong hands, not even the institutionals.
Gold is the true crazy horse of the entire stock market, and that is why it attracts: because it is the most unpredictable, most untamable, and most free asset there is.
If you trade gold, you will trade everything. 🐎🦅
Be stable. Be strong. 🦅
