This indicator is a centered moving average! The missing periods have been reconstructed with a very complex approximation and projection technique! On the chart I loaded a simple 180-period average in blue and our average centered in yellow. The hatched area is the approximation of the missing periods projected into the future. It is possible to set the centering of the average through the offset ratio: 2 is half a period behind; 4 is a quarter of a period behind. This is a great tool for cyclical analysis. It is not possible, due to the pinescript v4 language limit, to set the average over 1.000 periods.

I replaced '' main period '' with '' main cycle '' as it is a cyclic moving average
