This is a crypto swing alert for the strategy with the same name designed for timeframes bigger than 1h.
The main components are ICHOMOKU KDJ Average High Average Low
Rules for entry For long: we have the ichimoku crosses between tenkan and baselines, we have a rising kdj line and at the same time we have a increase in the average high For short: we have the ichimoku crosses between tenkan and baselines, we have a falling kdj line and at the same time we have an increase in the average low
Rules for exit We exit when we have inverse conditions than the initial ones used for entry.
Caution This strategy does not use a risk management, so be careful with it !
How can we make it possible to backtest this over the past data? Is that something that is doable?
This is such a nice indicator, thank you for sharing it

@ROBST3R, you have to convert it to a strategy type instead of indicator , and for example use strategy.entry with longConditions for long and /strategy.entry with exitLongConditions for short

@exlux99, is this something you could make? It would be so nice to test this over previous data, multiple pairs and timeframes.
Ashame that I can’t code it otherwise I would have done it
Hope you can do it
Cheers

Hi does the alert come on the current bar where the buy or sell is or is it on the close of the previous bar?

⋅
@ROBST3R, thats up to you on how you will setup the alert, if you setup during the same candle or at the bar close of the candle
