Can Elliot Waves Rules still work?

I' m a learner, and not experienced trader. It's nearly a few months a question turns round and round in my head:
Can Elliot Waves Rules still work in the present trend of stock market?
As one of those rules, we have read a corrective wave can never retrace the whole previous impulsive wave. But, in the chart belonged to BTCUSDT in a weekly time frame I've placed here, we see it has already happened when wave (1) and (2) are compared!
I should like to appreciate any comment in this regard.

I'm not sure, of course, I've not made a mistake in waves counting ...
