From this I can see that Gold has never break the below trend line since year 2000. If GOLD now is doing correction then it may drop down to 1685 & 1450.
The price and sto is pretty much like Feb -Mar 2012. So I think GOLD will go down while I look at DXY to be Bullish for a couple years from now.
