The Russell 2000 Index has surged almost 10% this week. Risk is now en vogue after Donald Trump won the election. This stems from the belief that he will be easy on business and remove many of their handicaps. This monster pop on the Russell (
IWM) is an amazing move for the history books. As it jumps higher, there is a clear level which will trigger a pull back. This is where I plan on shorting the index via buying IWM puts. When the IWM (Russell 2000 ETF) hits $126.75, I will buy January 2017 puts, Strike $125.00.
