Based on the last three months, even before COVD Microsoft has been trading slow and steady. The only significant dip was when the market crashed in Feb-March. With the rise of their products such as the new Xbox, Hollolens, Software, Minecraft, etc. their products (in my opinion) will always be relevant.
The question you really have to ask yourself is do you want to put your money in a steady, reliable stock, or would you like to make other acquisitions. I do not believe Microsoft will experience huge growth, ever. I do not think it will die out, ever and the fact they pay an ok dividend is good.
I believe this is a stock that should be in people's portfolios as a stable stock that can provide stability.
