The settlement agreement between Owlet and OWLT investors has been finalized and is now up for final court approval.

What is this settlement?

In October 2021, Owlet faced allegations of misleading investors about its regulatory compliance and failing to disclose FDA warnings regarding its Smart Sock device. The company was accused of making false statements about adherence to FDA regulations.

Following this, Owlet was sued by investors and has agreed to settle by paying $3.5M to affected shareholders.
