What is this settlement?

On October 18, 2022, Olaplex announced a sharp guidance cut and the sudden resignation of COO Tiffany Walden. The next day, OLPX dropped over 56%, wiping out approximately $3.6 billion in market value.

Following this, Olaplex was sued by shareholders and has agreed to settle by paying $47.5 million to investors.
