The court has approved the settlement between BlockFi and $BFI investors and all its terms.

What is this settlement?

BlockFi and its executives faced allegations of selling unregistered securities in the form of BlockFi Interest Accounts (BIAs) and misleading investors about the safety and compliance of their financial products.

In November 2022, BlockFi announced it would halt customer withdrawals, and later, the company filed for bankruptcy.

Following these events, BlockFi was sued and has agreed to settle by paying $13.25M to investors.
