Paramount Global, formerly known as ViacomCBS, was accused of misleading investors about its financial exposure tied to Archegos Capital Management. When Archegos collapsed in March 2021, $VIAC stock plunged over 27% in a single day, wiping out billions in shareholder value.

Following this, Paramount Global was sued by shareholders and has agreed to settle by paying $122.5M to investors.
