Shareholders Filed a Lawsuit Against Fiserv for Hiding Customer Churn in Clover Platform

Meno di 1 minuto di lettura

Court: S.D. New York

Case: 1:25-cv-06094

On July 24, 2025, FI shareholders have filed a class action against Fiserv, accusing it of concealing rising customer attrition in its Clover platform and issuing misleading financial guidance.

What is this lawsuit about?

Between February 2024 and July 2025, Fiserv promoted strong growth for its Clover payment platform. However, the company was actually losing customers—especially larger merchants—and growth was slowing. Internally, executives knew reported metrics were being propped up by inflation and pricing, not actual usage.

Fiserv finally admitted to serious churn, slashed guidance, and revealed further slowdowns. FI dropped a combined 41.5% across three major disclosures.
