Elon Musk said Tesla will put the question of investing in his AI start-up xAI to a shareholder vote, following reports that SpaceX may commit $2 billion to the company behind the Grok chatbot.
Responding to a question on social media about a potential Tesla investment, Musk clarified that the choice isn’t his to make:
- “It’s not up to me. If it were up to me, Tesla would have invested in xAI long ago.”
