BlackBerry BB turned in a stronger quarter than Wall Street expected. The company posted non-GAAP EPS of $0.04, beating estimates by $0.03, while revenue came in at $129.6 million, up 2.7% from last year and topping consensus by about $7.6 million. Margins also looked better, with both GAAP and adjusted gross margin improving by 4 points to 75%.

QNX, the company's embedded software business, carried the load. Revenue there jumped 15% to $63.1 million, with adjusted EBITDA of $20.5 million, or 32% of revenue. Company-wide adjusted EBITDA came in stronger than guided at $25.9 million, or 20% of revenue. BlackBerry even managed positive operating cash flow of $3.4 million, though its overall cash balance dipped $18.4 million to $363.5 million.

Looking ahead, the company guided Q3 revenue between $132 million and $140 million, roughly in line with Street expectations, and nudged up its full-year outlook. It now expects FY26 EPS of $0.11 to $0.15, above both prior guidance and consensus.

Stronger QNX growth and tighter cost control suggest BlackBerry's turnaround story still has momentum heading into 2026.
