U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Friday as Treasury yields extended declines from the previous session after recent weak economic data supported bets of a dovish pivot by the Federal Reserve next year.

At 7:28 ET, Dow e-minis (1YMc1) were up 0.27% at 35,112. S&P 500 e-minis ES1! were up 0.23% at 4,533.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQ1! were up 0.04% at 15,904.5.
