WTI rises after deal

U.S. WTI Midland crude differentials rose on Thursday after a deal in the Platts window.

* Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).

* One cargo traded.

* WTI Midland: Mercuria sold to Gunvor September 1-5 CIF Rotterdam at dated Brent plus $1.45.

* That was up from the average of Wednesday's three deals of dated plus $1.22 and equal to roughly dated Brent plus 48 cents on an FOB basis according to Reuters calculations.
