** National Securities Depository's (NSDL) 40 billion rupee ($458 million) IPO gets fully subscribed on day 1 of bidding, exchange data shows

** India's top securities depository gets bids worth up to 28.87 billion rupees at the upper end of the 760-800 rupees price band, or 1.03 times the shares on offer, as of 01:22 p.m. IST - data

** Demand led by retail and non institutional investors which bid for 1.15 and 1.43 times the shares reserved for them, respectively

** NSDL also raised 12.01 billion rupees from anchor investors including LIC LICI and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA)

** Co not issuing new shares in the IPO with existing shareholders including National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) paring some stake

** IPO to run from Wednesday till Friday, with shares likely to start trading on August 6
