The lira USDTRY was quoted at 41.2910-41.3300 against the U.S. dollar at 0410 GMT, compared to Monday's close of 41.2950.
The main BIST 100 share index XU100 closed 6.06% higher at 11,000.26 points on Monday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asia stocks climbed on Tuesday while the dollar was on the back foot as investors bet the U.S. Federal Reserve would resume its easing cycle this week and potentially leave the door open to further rate cuts.
HOUSE SALES
The Turkish Statistical Institute will announce house sales statistics for August. (0700 GMT)
BOND AUCTION
The Treasury will hold an auction to issue a new 5-year CPI-indexed bond, maturing on September 11, 2030.
