Tomra falls after Q3 miss and weak outlook
** Shares in Tomra Systems TOM fall 11.7%, pares losses after falling as much as 15.1%, lowest since February 14 2024, after the Norwegian recycling technology provider reported Q3 results below estimates
** Tomra posted Q3 adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA) of 30 million euros ($35.14 million), while analysts on average expected 40 million euros
** Jefferies says the company's "near-term outlook remains clouded by limited visibility on Recycling recovery"
** The brokerage notes that order intake and backlog in the recycling division declined sharply year-on-year, by 30% and 19% respectively
** Arctic analyst Halvor Aasen Dybdahl says the soft order intake and Q4 guidance implies a roughly 10-15% downside to current Q4 revenue estimates
** Share on track for its worst day since July 17, when it closed 13.2% lower, if losses hold
** Up to the previous session's close, shares were down 7.2% YTD
