Brazil 1H October sugarcane crushing forecast to fall 1.5%
Sugarcane crushing in Brazil's key center-south region in the first half of October is forecast to fall 1.5% to 33.42 million metric tons versus the year-earlier period, according to a survey of 11 analysts from S&P Global Commodity Insights published on Tuesday.
Sugar production in the region is expected to increase by 0.6% to 2.47 million tons, the survey found.
