Romania’s Q1 construction output rises 13.8% y/y

BUCHAREST (Romania), May 21 (SeeNews) - Romania’s construction output rose by 13.8% on the year in the first three months of 2025, the statistical office, INS, said, citing working-day adjusted data.
On a seasonally unadjusted comparison basis, construction production increased by an annual 12.2% in the first quarter, INS said in a statement on Tuesday.
In March alone, the volume of construction works grew by an annually adjusted 3.1% and by a monthly adjusted 4.6%.
