Swiss Jobless Rate Edges Down to 2.1%
The Swiss unemployment rate edged down to a non-seasonally adjusted 2.1 percent in February 2023, from 2.2 percent in the previous month, as the number of unemployed people fell by 2,324 from the previous month to 98,452.
Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, which measures the number of job-seekers between 15 to 24 years old, decreased by 0.9 percent to 8,958.
Among genders, the jobless rate was higher for men (at 57.7%) than for women (at 42.3%).
