Dannish Current Account Surplus Hits 10-Month High

Denmark's current account surplus surged to DKK 30.5 billion in November 2023 in seasonally adjusted terms from an upwardly revised DKK 20.3 billion in the previous month.

It was the largest amount since January 2023, as the surplus of goods account climbed to DKK 19.3 billion from DKK 15.7 billion in October.

Also, the surplus of services account soared to DKK 6.9 billion from the prior DKK 2.4 billion while that of primary income widened sharply to DKK 6.7 billion from DKK 4.3 billion.

Meantime, the secondary income gap was at DKK 2.3 billion, compared with a deficit of DKK 2.1 billion in October.
