Danish Net Jobless Rate Steady at 2.6% in October

The unemployment rate in Denmark stood at 2.6% in October 2024, unchanged from the previous three months and remaining at its highest jobless rate since October 2021.

The number of unemployed individuals increased by 0.1 thousand from the revised 78.2 thousand of the prior month, totaling 78.3 thousand.

Net recipients of unemployment benefits rose by 0.1 thousand to 69.4 thousand, while recipients of social assistance stayed at 8.9 thousand.

Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, representing job-seekers aged 16 to 24, slowed to 1.1% from a revised 1.2% increase in September.
