In London, the FTSE 100 Index decreased 67 points or 0.73 percent on Thursday.
Losses were driven by Hikma Pharmaceutical (-6.50%), BAE Systems (-5.05%) and BT (-3.16%).
Biggest rises came from Intercontinental Hotels (6.29%), Coca-Cola (4.05%) and Rentokil Initial (2.74%).
