U.S. and China in Final Talks on Major Boeing Aircraft Purchase

The U.S. and China are in the final stages of talks on a major Boeing Co. aircraft order, U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue said, according to Bloomberg News.

Though he gave no details on the size, Perdue told reporters in Beijing—alongside a delegation of U.S. lawmakers—that an agreement could be reached soon.

The deal comes as both nations look to steady trade ties strained by years of geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions.
