In London, the FTSE 100 Index rose 60 points or 0.63 percent on Friday.
Leading the gains are London Stock Exchange (5.20%), Natwest (2.79%) and Diploma (2.21%).
Top losers were LondonMetric Property (-1.81%), GlaxoSmithKline (-1.50%) and Airtel Africa (-1.04%).
