Dogecoin treasury firm CleanCore holds 710 million DOGE as it awaits SEC share registration

Dogecoin digital asset treasury CleanCore Solutions is drawing closer to hitting its goal of acquiring 1 billion DOGE, the company said on Tuesday.

CleanCore holds 710 million Dogecoin, worth about $188 million at current prices. The company's previous update on Sept. 11 showed it held about 500 million DOGE.

The company is also awaiting the registration of shares that were part of its $ 175 million private placement. CleanCore is "closely aligned" with the long-term vision held by Dogecoin insiders and the House of Doge, the corporate arm of the Dogecoin Foundation, according to CEO Clayton Adams.

"Friends, family, and the House of Doge currently hold a significant portion of the shares filed for registration, which are currently restricted and/or locked-up," Adams said in Tuesday's statement. "In addition to working with the SEC to get the private placement shares registered in a timely manner, we are actively monitoring the short interest in our stock carefully."

While it's become quite common for publicly-listed digital asset treasuries, or DATs, to frequently release updates of their holding, or to announce new capital raises, providing added detail about shareholders and share registration has so far been somewhat uncommon.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is said to be scrutinizing some digital asset treasuries for unusual trading patterns. So far this year, more than 200 firms have adopted a crypto treasury strategy. DATs have pulled in more than $20 billion in venture capital funding in 2025.

CleanCore's CEO provided more details about the company's long-term goals.

"Our approach goes beyond a simple NAV play," Adams also said. "We are working closely with House of Doge to jointly advance the Dogecoin ecosystem through professional treasury governance, building the foundation for future yield-bearing opportunities, and supporting the long-term stability and utility of DOGE."

DOGE was changing hands at $0.26 at publication time, according to The Block's price page.
