SHREEM — Consolidation & Sideways Detector

33
The SHREEM Consolidation & Sideways Detector is a trend-following and volatility filter indicator for stocks, indices, forex, and crypto. It helps traders avoid sideways markets, detect volatility compression, and focus on clean breakout and trending opportunities.

Compatible for intraday trading, swing trading, and scalping, SHREEM combines adaptive volatility detection, trend context, actionable entry arrows, and a compact Strength/Trend dashboard—all in one interface.

Key Features
* Blue Sideways Zone (No-Trade Zone)
Detects low-volatility compression phases where false breakouts are common.
* Short Mode: Fast detection for intraday scalping (1m–15m charts).
* Medium Mode: Balanced for day trading and swing setups.
* Long Mode: Higher sensitivity for swing and positional trades.
* Trend Context
* Green background = uptrend bias.
* Red background = downtrend bias.
* Entry Arrows (non-repainting)
* Green Arrow (below bar) = bullish momentum.
* Red Arrow (above bar) = bearish momentum.
Includes real-time alerts for precise trade timing.
* Mini Dashboard
displays Strength (momentum) and Trend (trendiness) together, helping traders quickly assess market conditions without overanalyzing.

How to Use
1. Identify the Blue Zone
If the Blue Zone is active, do not enter trades. This is a no-trade zone with high risk of chop.
2. Wait for Expansion
When the Blue Zone disappears, conditions are improving for cleaner trades.
3. Check Trend Bias
Look at the background tint:
* Green = focus on long setups.
* Red = focus on short setups.
4. Time Your Entry
Use Entry Arrows after the Blue Zone clears, aligning with trend bias for higher-probability trades.
5. Set Alerts
Turn on alerts for Entry Arrows or scalping line crosses to automate trade monitoring.
6. Dashboard Confirmation
* “Strength” and “Trend” in agreement = quality setups.
* Use this for additional confidence before entering trades.

When to Avoid
* Trading inside the Blue Zone (sideways/no-trade zone).
* Counter-trend trades against strong background bias.
* Using signals on non-standard chart types (like Heikin Ashi or Renko) for performance checks.

Best Practices
* Intraday traders: Use Short mode for fast signals.
* Swing traders: Use Medium/Long mode for cleaner setups.
* Combine with higher timeframe bias for confirmation.
* Always use risk management: ATR stops, R:R targets, or session filters.
