Principia Bot Status

Hi folks,

The Principia bot has been steadily improving over the last couple of months and is getting closer to public release. Back testing has proven that the ideas that it is based on are solid and consistently profitable. Currently it is going through a forward testing phase to get an understanding of how a user would experience using it. This will help us properly set the expectations for interested clients.

Here are the current features of the bot:

1. When configured optimally, it returns much better than buy-and-hold.
2. One configuration can make returns in up, down, and gyrating sideways markets.
3. The bot can be configured to be biased long or short for maximum returns on a market expectation.
4. Either only-win mode (which could incur bags), or optimized stop loss mode can be chosen.
5. A trade reversal feature exists which helps you to continue profiting on long trends.
6. The bot can be configured to alert you for news-driven high volume moves, and when they occur, jump in.
7. Multiple time frames and pyramiding can be used to protect losses and maximize profits.
8. The bot operates once per bar, and so how it back tests is how it will run in the future.
9. 24-hr 7 day a week operation. Make trades when you sleep.
10. Uses the principle of compound interest to maximize long term profits.

The bot is completely written in Pine Script, and utilizes the Auto View chrome extension for connecting and trading on an exchange and the PTStratX chrome extension for saving and loading configurations.

The configurations are quite involved, require some understanding of how the system works, and I expect professionally optimized configurations will be generated for coin pairs and time frames for people to use.

We are very excited about this project and are pleased with its current performance. We hope we can bring it to you sooner than later. A lot depends on the forward testing experience and our ability to organize the necessary infrastructure to service clients.
