SuperBands

This script combines two of the most powerful trading tools into a single indicator: Supertrend for trend following and Bollinger Bands for volatility analysis. This combo allows you to save your limited indicator slots on TradingView while keeping your chart clean.

Overview: SuperBands is a smart trend-following strategy that focuses on trading pullbacks with a unique filtering mechanism called "Progressive Entry Logic." It combines the trend detection of the Supertrend with the volatility zones of Bollinger Bands.

The Logic (How it Works): The strategy follows the golden rule: "Buy the dips in an uptrend, Sell the rallies in a downtrend."

Trend Filter: Uses Supertrend to define the main market bias.

Entry Zones: Uses Bollinger Bands (Upper/Lower) to identify overextended price action within the trend.

The "Smart Filter" (Progressive Entry): Unlike standard indicators that spam signals whenever the price touches a band, this script uses a progressive logic to filter noise:

Buy Signal (Green Triangle): Triggered when the Supertrend is Bullish AND price touches the Lower Band. Crucially, subsequent signals are only generated if the price makes a Lower Low while touching the band.

Sell Signal (Red Triangle): Triggered when the Supertrend is Bearish AND price touches the Upper Band. Subsequent signals are only generated if the price makes a Higher High.

Why use this logic? This mechanism filters out weak signals when the price is just "walking the bands" sideways, ensuring that you only get alerted when the price pushes deeper into a potential reversal zone.

Features:

Clean Chart: Displays only the Upper and Lower Bollinger Bands (Basis line removed).

No Repainting: Signals are based on confirmed logic per bar.

Customizable: Full control over ATR and Standard Deviation settings.
