How to Use the M5V Advanced Long and Short Tool | GCT | ICT

1. Add the indicator
– Open Indicators → My Scripts → “M5V Advanced Long and Short Tool | GCT | ICT”

2. Set your four boundaries by clicking directly on the chart

1. Click the first (vertical) line where you want your entry time
2. Click the second (horizontal) line where you want your entry price
3. Click the third (horizontal) line where you want your take‑profit level
4. Click the fourth (horizontal) line where you want your stop‑loss level

3. Choose direction & box span
– In the indicator’s toolbar hover menu (👁️ ⚙️ …), open Settings → RRR boxes:
• Long or Short (“LONG” for buys, “SHORT” for sells)
• Extend box right (bars) to control how many bars the colored box spans

4. Fine‑tune your lines
– Click‑and‑drag any of the TP or SL lines to tweak exact levels on the chart

5. Verify persistence across all timeframes
– Switch between 1 m, 15 m, 1 h, 1 D, etc.—your entry marker, entry line, and R/R box will stay visible

6. (Optional) Enable live extension
– In Settings → RRR boxes:
• Turn on Live Extension to auto‑stretch the box as new bars appear
• Adjust Live Extend After (bars) to delay the stretch by your chosen number of bars
