GBPUSD
Currency Strength Index by zdmreCurrency strength expresses the value of currency. For economists, it is often calculated as purchasing power, while for financial traders, it can be described as an indicator, reflecting many factors related to the currency; for example, fundamental data, overall economic performance (stability) or interest rates.
The method used in this indicator is its strength against the US Dollar (xxxUSD)
Currencies:
EUR
GBP
AUD
NZD
JPY
CNY
CAD
Your Symbol (Optionally) defval: TRYUSD
You can also optionally add a symbol. However, this unit must be in the form of xxxUSD
Trend Trading with Currency Strength MeterThis is a trend trading strategy designed mainly for forex made of two big components:
First we have the currency meter, which is made of taking TSI of different INDEXes such as EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, NZD, AUD , CHF and CAD.
Once we establish which one is the weakest and most powerful, we pair them together and we go on that chart.
Lastly we check with the EMA 200 to confirm our direction.
We can see in this example for the USDJPY chart, that USD is the strongest, JPY is the weakest and ema confirm our bullish trend.
For timeframe in general I recommend big timeframes, 1-4h+ , and as a mentality a swing trading mentality, we can stay in trade for days/weeks.
For exit in general I recommend to exit when either one of the pairs losses/gain power or when the EMA is crossing with current candle

Swing forex strategy 15minThis is a strategy made using BB+ RSI indicators that seems to work great with 15 min major pairs for FOREX.
THe rules for it are simple:
For long we enter when the close of our candle crosses upwards the lower line and rsi crossover the over sold line
We exit long when we have a short entry.
For short we enter when the close of the candle crosses downwards the top line and rsi cross under the over bought line
WE exit short when we have a long entry.
Careful, this strategy has no risk management inside.
If you have any questions let me know !
ROC of Majors against the USD (Label)Version 2 of the ROC study that now puts them as a label on the same chart.
ROC of Majors against the USDA simple study that shows the majors against the USD Rate of Change.
Allows you to pick opposing strength pairs to trade.
There are different ROC calculations for people to play with as I am not sure which way the ( ) should be so feedback is welcome.

London Breakout/Session GBP/USD Forex DaytradeThis is a forex strategy suited for day traders, specialized in the london breakout session
The key elements for this strategy are the specific london time session, together with an exit time(before asian trade/at the end of new york session).
At the same time, as logic elements we only use price action inside like :
For long we have 3 ascending candles, and for short we have 3 descending candles.
For exit we have both TP/SL based on price percentage movement, or we exit if we reach the end of the day.
If you have any questions message me in private !
London breakout GBPUSD daytradeHello,
First I want to WARN THAT YOU NEED A MINIMUM OF 30X LEVERAGE FOR THIS STRATEGY IN ORDER TO WORK.
THE REASON IS THAT THE SIZE IS CALCULATED BASED ON A VERY SHORT STOP LOSS LEVEL IN PIPS
UTILIZE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
This is a daytrading strategy, that's suited for GBPUSD 1H timechart.
It a very simple strategy that utilizes 2 moving averages : a very fast one and a very slow one.
It will always enter only at the beginning candle of London session, and it will always exit at the candle at the finish of London session.
So the rules are simple :
If its 8 am GMT and the candle close or high cross the slow moving average and we are above at the same over the slow moving average we make a long movement. The oposite condition is applied for short.
At the same time we always use a very small stop loss = 50-100 points ( 5-10 pips).
We dont have a take profit, in our case the trade ends always at the end of London session. In this case at 15h GMT
It might work on other currencies aswell, but it has to be tested first.
For any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

IntradaySignal #Trading #Candlestick #SignalThis is a simple version of taking bull and bear positions.
Time Frame: Although the time frame decided while making the script was for 1 minute chart, but after checking, even Daily charts work good.
Asset class: The underlying here, is XAUUSD (GOLD) but confirmatory strong positional trades on stocks for intraday purposes.
Condition: The signals are meaningful and are of significant importance when its in trending pattern and not in sideways pattern.
The signals are presented by the background color. when the color is red, start taking short positions, and when the signal is green, go with long position.
StopLoss: Complete reliance on the script might not be rewarding, Prepare your own stoploss and targets. I advise you to take profit and book losses as per "resistance & support" zones.
SupertrendIndicatorSupertrend (13,2.5) & Supertrend (18,3) are best for intraday.
Loving the signals.
Expert studio strategy 1 - GBPUSDThis is part of a series of strategies developed automatically by a online software.
I cannot share the site url, which is not related to me in any way, because it is against the TV reules.
This strategy was optimized for GBPUSD, timeframe 1D, fixed lots 0.1, initial balance 1000€.
LOGIC:
- LONG ENTRY when previous candle is bear
- LONG EXIT: RVI > signal line
- SHORT ENTRY when previous candle is bull
- SHORT EXIT: RVI < signal line
NOTE: I considered the open of actual candle instead of close otherwise there will be a back shift of 1 candle in pine script
Take profit = no
Stop loss = no
I have also a study with alarms.
Please use comment section for any feedback.
GBPIndexGBP Index based on a basket of the following currencies
EURGBP, 49%
GBPUSD, 18%
GBPJPY, 3.4%
GBPCNH, 9.0%
GBPCHF, 3.2%
GBPCAD, 1.4%
GBPAUD, 1.4%
Use this index with a moving average to determine when to go long or short on GBP pairs, except for EURGBP. If index above Moving Average you have the green light to open Long positions. If below Moving Average you have green light to open Short positions.
For EURGBP you would open Long if index is below moving average and open Short when index is above moving average
HL2 - 22 EMA Cross for RenkoEURUSD
This is a simple strategy to use for those who like Renko bars. I ONLY use it on Renko.
Basic idea is that when the Renko bar closes above or below the 22 EMA, you go long or short.
However, some of the frustrations I've had with any strategy shared in Tradingview is so few folks put in the ability to set a stop or a profit target or the ability to set a specific time to trade. I have added those to this strategy. (And I for the life of me can not remember where I got the code for the the time, I need to find you!).
Special note: If you have never used the Renko bars in Tradingview, make sure you click the Format option next to whatever pair you are looking at and change it from Traditional to ATR. You can set it for a static pip amount if you want. But ATR at first will help you decide which amount of pips you should throw in.
This is my first published strategy so if I screwed up on anything or didn't explain it very well, please let me know!!

JPY GBP ROCsRate of change of most volatile JPY and GBP pairs. All pairs ending in JPY are red except GBPJPY (colored yellow --currently most volatile 7/2016). GBPNZD is blue, the other GBP pairs are green, lime and teal. GBPJPY and GBPNZD are my favorite day trading / swing trading pairs. This script allows me to see the action of the most volatile and liquid pairs on one screen. JPY pairs (ex-GBPJPY) are all red so that I see the flow of JPY not so much each pair and its name. Global movement of JPY is what I am after. Same for the coloring of GBP pairs as green expect GBPNZD as blue. ***** EURGBP is plotted as an opposite (with a negative in front of its sma. EURGBP is extremely correlated to GBPNZD, I decided to plot it also.
Pairs Volume FXCM mini accountScript shows the volume of the currency pairs in the FXCM mini account. I set it daily or weekly to see which pair is picking up in activity. My style of currency trading is short holds on the highest volatility. This helps me determine which pairs have the highest volume (or tick activity since there is no true exchange for currency). I use this in conjunction with the other script I wrote, "Pairs Range" which shows which pairs have the highest daily range. This script has a built in 5-sma on each pair. High daily range and high volume is volatility and liquidity. **** This does not include currencies in CHF ****
