This may help identify when a trend is becoming stronger or weaker, based on the shaded area and Moving Average direction.
POSSIBLE USAGE
For example:
If the MA's are pointing downward and the shaded area is Green - it means that average distance between the candle High and Low is getting wider, which may indicate a stronger downward movement. Then, when the shaded area turns Red, signaling the average distance between the candle High and Low are getting narrower, this may indicate that the downward movement is weakening, and may be the end of that downward trend.

how it does it?

I've also added alerts and signals. The discontinued signal lines can be smoothed using EMA or Fast EMA.
What are DSL Discontinued Signal Line?
A lot of indicators are using signal lines in order to determine the trend (or some desired state of the indicator) easier. The idea of the signal line is easy : comparing the value to it's smoothed (slightly lagging) state, the idea of current momentum/state is made.
Discontinued signal line is inheriting that simple signal line idea and it is extending it : instead of having one signal line, more lines depending on the current value of the indicator.
"Signal" line is calculated the following way :
When a certain level is crossed into the desired direction, the EMA of that value is calculated for the desired signal line
When that level is crossed into the opposite direction, the previous "signal" line value is simply "inherited" and it becomes a kind of a level
This way it becomes a combination of signal lines and levels that are trying to combine both the good from both methods.

What is Parabolic SAR?
The parabolic stop and reverse, more commonly known as the "Parabolic SAR," or "PSAR" is a trend-following indicator developed by J. Welles Wilder. It is displayed as a single parabolic line (or dots) underneath the price bars in an uptrend, and above the price bars in a downtrend.
What is MACD?
Moving average convergence divergence (MACD) is a trend-following momentum indicator that shows the relationship between two moving averages of a security’s price. The MACD is calculated by subtracting the 26-period exponential moving average (EMA) from the 12-period EMA.
What is RSI?
The relative strength index (RSI) is a momentum indicator used in technical analysis that measures the magnitude of recent price changes to evaluate overbought or oversold conditions in the price of a stock or other asset. The RSI is displayed as an oscillator (a line graph that moves between two extremes) and can have a reading from 0 to 100. The indicator was originally developed by J. Welles Wilder Jr. and introduced in his seminal 1978 book, “New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems.”
How to combine PSAR, MACD, and RSI into one:
1. Create a new type of moving average called MARSI. MARSI is like a typical moving average but it flexes to RSI sensitivities
2. Calculate MACD for the MARSI of High/Low values
3. Calculate the midpoint MACD between the High/Low MACDs created in step 2
4. Create a final MACD by calculating the MARSI for the midpoint MACD created in step 3
5. Finally, Inject these values into a customized Parabolic SAR function

The MACD-V indicator is the normal version of the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) indicator but normalized for volatility. It is normalized for volatility in order to compare momentum values across time and across tickers which the normal MACD indicator fails to do.
Formula
The formula for the MACD-V is as follows
MACD Line = [ / ATR(26)] * 100
Signal Line = EMA(9,MACD)
Histogram = MACD Line - Signal Line
How to Use
The MACD-V indicator is used to analyze normalized trends. If the MACD line is above 150, it is considered overbought. If the MACD line is below -150, it is considered oversold. Crossovers of the MACD line and the signal line are considered to be points of trend changes as well.

Median Convergence DivergenceIntroduction
The Median Convergence Divergence (MCD) is a derivative of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). The difference is the change in the use of the measure of central tendency. In MACD, moving average (mean) is used, whereas, in MCD, the median is used instead. The purpose of using the median is to eliminate the outlying values, which would be calculated for a moving average. The outliers would affect the value of the moving average.
For example: 3, 5, 7, 8, 5, 4, 2, 1, 6, 21, 8. The data set average is 6.3, whereas the median value is 5. There is a difference of about 23% in the example. The reason is the outlying value '21' in the data set.
As the markets are volatile, outlying values can always emerge. A moving average will consider those values; on the other hand, the median will ignore. If the strategy calls for a tool to ignore the outliers, the Median Convergence Divergence would be a great centered oscillator.
The default values have changed to suit the current trading days in a week. When the MACD was introduced, there would be six trading days in a week. Therefore, it used 12 (2 weeks), 26(4 weeks), and 9 ( 1.5 weeks). But now that there are five trading days per week. The default values are adapted to them. Feel free to change them as per your wish.
Recommended Settings
The current settings are set to be used for the Daily Time Frame: 5 day period for the fast line, a 20 day period for the slow line, and a 10 day period for the signal line. (5 days represent a trading week, 10 days is two weeks, and 20 days is 4 weeks or a month)
For the weekly charts, use 4 week period for the fast line, 13 week period for the slow line, and 8 week period for the signal line. (4 weeks represent a month, 8 weeks is two months, and 13 weeks is 3 months or quarterly)
And for monthly charts, use 3 month period for the fast line, 12 month period for the slow line, and 6 month period for the signal line. (3 months is quarterly, 6 months is bi-yearly, and 12 month is yearly)
It'll be challenging to measure for intraday since there are many different timeframes within intraday. The settings mentioned above should also be customized as per the requirements of the trading strategy.
Strategy
The strategy application is the same as the MACD, i.e., Signal Line Crossovers, Zero Line Crossovers, and Divergence.
Signal Line Crossovers: When the MCD line crosses above the Signal line, it's a bullish crossover. When the MCD line crosses below the Signal line, it's a bearish crossover.
Zero Line Crossovers: It's a bullish crossover when the MCD line crosses above the Zero line. When the MCD line crosses below the Zero Line, it's a bearish crossover.
Divergence: When price shows a lower low, but MCD shows a higher low, it's a bullish divergence. When the price shows a higher high but MCD shows a lower high, it's a bearish divergence.
Using other indicators in conjunction with the Median Convergence Divergence is recommended to take entry and exit signals.
Ehlers Moving Average Difference Indicator [CC]The Moving Average Difference Indicator was created by John Ehlers (Stocks and Commodities Oct 2021 pg 23) and this is essentially his version of the famous MACD indicator. He calls this indicator the "thinking mans" MACD because his thought process for creating the lengths is based on half of the period of the dominant cycle. These are the default lengths that he created but feel free to test it out with your own variations and please let me know if you come up with a better one. I'm sorry for my long delay from TV. Sometimes I just need to step away and collect my thoughts before I burn myself out with the many scripts I keep publishing daily. I will try to get back into publishing daily again because I have a personal backlog of over 50 scripts ready to go that I haven't published yet. As always I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so darker colors are strong and lighter colors are normal. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.

MACD Moving Average Convergence/Divergence - DurbtradeDurbtrade MACD - macd line changes color based on vertical direction. This makes it easier to see and discern movements and also helps the indicator to retain maximum functionality when taking up less chart real estate (also, having the color change really helps me see charts on small screens... such as when it's bright outside and I'm driving in my car and glancing at a chart on my phone... it helps having the info pop visually). A fill option is included to fill the space between the macd and signal lines, though I personally prefer to disable this function. Also, you get a zero line if you want it, and it doesn't extend past the current time, removing unnecessary info and keeping your chart looking a bit cleaner. Finally, there are color-coded, cross-over and cross-under background fills, signaling when the macd line crosses the signal line.

This the script for Moving Average Convergence Divergence – MACD of Thomas Aspray, and called as MACD-AS and you may get earlier signals than MACD.
As MACD and MACD-AS are trend following indicators, they do not function well in sideway markets.

MACD with divergence signalsIts an MACD indicator which highlights places where macd and signal line cross and hidden divergence ocures.
Logic behind it is to check if we have hidden divergence when crossing of that two lines and if above EMA200 (signal for BUY - green) or if below EMA200 (signal for SELL - red).
You can change lenght of EMA but i think 200 is a simpliest trend indicator.
MACRS {Lite}This is the open-source stripped down version of the full-featured RSI-MACD indicator (MACRS), with the ADO and the option to filter out weekend price action removed.
The main oscillator is the RSI modulated by the MACD (default). The RSI mode can be disabled to revert to a normal MACD oscillator for the main oscillator.
When the main oscillator (thicker line) is > 0, it is green; and if it is < 0, it is red.
The MACD can be re-scaled and whenever its value > 100, a background fill between the oscillator and the zeroline appear to indicates overbought condition; and < -100 indicates oversold condition. The user can tweak the scaling factor to optimize this for a given chart and timeframe.
A (thick transparent light blue) volume oscillator is also provided. An increase in volume trend provides confirmation of (or solidifies) the movements in the main oscillator over that period. A falling volume oscillator trend raises doubts on the main oscillator trend, and hints of the possibility of a counter-trend (also look at the secondary ADO oscillator for clues).
