If it works here, it will work in real conditions.

I often find myself needing quick access to certain information about a ticker — like its full ticker name, mintick, last bar index and so on. Usually, I write a few lines of code just to display this info and check it.
Today I got tired of doing that manually, so I created a small script that shows the most essential data in one place. I also added a few extra fields that might be useful or interesting to regular users.

tickerid - full ticker name
description - description for the current symbol
industry - the industry of the symbol. Example: "Internet Software/Services", "Packaged software", "Integrated Oil", "Motor Vehicles", etc.
country - the two-letter code of the country where the symbol is traded
sector - the sector of the symbol. Example: "Electronic Technology", "Technology services", "Energy Minerals", "Consumer Durables", etc.
session - session type (regular or extended)
timezone - timezone of the exchange of the chart
type - the type of market the symbol belongs to. Example: "stock", "fund", "index", "forex", "futures", "spread", "economic", "fundamental", "crypto".
volumetype - volume type of the current symbol.
mincontract - the smallest amount of the current symbol that can be traded
mintick - min tick value for the current symbol (the smallest increment between a symbol's price movements)
pointvalue - point value for the current symbol
pricescale - a whole number used to calculate mintick (usually (when minmove is 1), it shows the resolution — how many decimal places the price has. For example, a pricescale 100 means the price will have two decimal places - 1 / 100 = 0.01)
bar index - last bar index (if add 1 (because indexes starts from 0) it will shows how many bars available to you on the chart)

The bands are offset above and below the pivot using multiples of the VW Range:
R1 = Pivot + (VW Range × multiplier)
R2 = R1 + (VW Range × multiplier)

as a commodity trader, I use a lot of seasonal patterns in my analysis. Some time ago, I came up with the idea to develop a simple script that visually overlays the typical planting and harvesting periods for key agricultural futures directly on the chart.
This script automatically detects the underlying commodity based on the symbol (e.g. ZC, ZW, ZS, CT) and displays color-coded zones for each seasonal window. These zones are based on historical crop calendars and help identify when planting or harvesting typically takes place. The goal is to better align technical setups with fundamental seasonal factors.
This is a basic version and meant as a visual aid — not a trading signal in itself.

TDO & Hit Rates by Weekday (5 min)Purpose
Tracks how often the next NY session “hits” the previous day’s True Day Open (TDO) level, separately for sessions that open above vs. below TDO, and breaks the statistics down by weekday (Mon–Fri) plus an overall summary.

Captures the prior day’s 23:00 CT close price as the TDO.
Plots it as a continuous yellow line across your chart.
Session Labeling

User-Defined Tickers:
The script provides input fields for up to 7 tickers using input.symbol(). You can track stocks, indexes, ETFs, crypto, or futures — anything supported by TradingView.
Choose How Many to Display:
An additional dropdown lets you choose how many of the 7 tickers to actually display (between 1 and 7). This gives you control over screen space and focus.
Market Data Fetching:
For each displayed ticker, the script fetches:
The current day’s closing price (close)
The previous day’s closing price (close )
This data is pulled using request.security() on the daily timeframe (1D).

The script calculates the daily percentage change using:

Cleaned Ticker Names:
