Trend Confirmation Indicator - Triple OBVDear all, you might wonder is there a confirmation indicator that has a high hit rate, is dependable, and could rely on the information it gives you when making a decision?
Here I present an indicator I developed specifically for cryptocurrency, in the minds of eliminating fakeouts and traps.
Trend is always invalid then there is a lack of volume, so by tracking the momentum of price direction & volume, we can have a ballpark about where the market is moving to.
On balance volume
obvshort = ema3
obvmedium = ema9
obvlong = ema26
This is a lagging indicator, which means it's not good at predicting reversal.
This is also the reason why
long signal = obvshort > obvmedium and obvshort > obvlong
shortsignal = obvshort < obvmedium and obvshort < obvlong
both without obvmedium >< obvlong
This indicator will not lie to you.
At last
Save Hong Kong, the revolution of our time.

SHIT35 Alt Index (ROC or Volume) [LucF]SHIT35 is an index of 35 Binance alt/BTC pairs. It provides traders with a more reliable read of BTC pairs price movement than the often uncorrelated USD market cap standard.
Because it must read data coming from 35 markets, SHIT35 is painfully slow and should be kept hidden most of the time. Its features will hopefully seduce traders in using it nonetheless for market analysis.
Features
The Index can be calculated using 4 different modes:
1. Total of instant rate of change for all 35 markets ,
2. Cumulative total of ROCs,
3. Average of ROCs,
4. Plus/Minus volume (an aggregate OBV, if you will).
Select only one of the methods at a time to prevent confusion between modes.
An option allows showing the correlation between the Index as it is configured, and another instrument (CRYPTOCAP:TOTAL2 by default).
Markers can be used to identify abnormal movements in the Index. They are generated using Index exits from Bollinger bands.
The chart shows the Index with, from top to bottom, the default mode with BTC pairs, with USDT pairs, then mode 2 and 4 for BTC pairs.
Index Components
The Index is not weighed. The 35 instruments composing the index all have equivalents in the USDT quote currency on Binance, so you can easily change to those pairs using the Settings. Choosing another exchange or quote currency will require modifications to the list of instruments in the indicator’s code, since if one of the markets cannot be found, the indicator will not work. If the instrument exists but has no history for some bars, zero values will be used for them.
Watchlists
I have created a watchlist for the 35 markets in each of the BTC and USDT quote currencies. To import the watchlists, save the text you’ll find at these links in a file named the way you want your watchlist to be named and import them using the “Import Watchlist…” function.
BTC Watchlist: pastebin.com
USDT Watchlist: pastebin.com
Alerts
You can define alerts on any combination of markers you configure. After defining the markers you want the alert to trigger on, make sure you are on the interval you want the alert to be monitoring at, then create the alert, select the indicator, use the default alert condition and choose your triggering window (usually “Once Per Bar Close”). Once the alert is created, you can change the indicator's inputs with no effect on the alert.
On Balance Volume w MA StratI couldn't find an OBV MA strategy, so I modified one into what i wanted. Now for all to enjoy.
Divergences for many indicators v2.0A gift from me to all.
This script is developed to find Divergences for many indicators. it analyses divergences and then draws line on the graph. red for negatif, lime for positive divergences.
Currently script checks divergence for RSI, MACD, MACD Histogram, Stochastic, CCI, Momentum, OBV, Diosc, VWMACD and CMF indicators. You can use some or all of these indicators to check divergences as you wish by choosing them on the menu. Also you can add/remove many other indicators to the script to check if there is divergence.
The script first calculates tops/bottoms by using higher time frame zig zag and then finds divergences.
Higher Time Frames are
if currend period 1 min => HTF = 5 mins
if currend period 3 mins => HTF = 15 mins
if currend period 5 mins => HTF = 15 mins
if currend period 15 mins => HTF = 1 hour
if currend period 30 mins => HTF = 1 hour
if currend period 45 mins => HTF = 1 hour
if currend period 1 hour => HTF = 4 hours
if currend period 2 hours => HTF = 4 hours
if currend period 3 hours => HTF = 4 hours
if currend period 4 hours => HTF = 1 day
if currend period 1 day => HTF = 1 week
if currend period 1 week => HTF = 1 week
future plan : script finds regular divergences, soon I will add hidden divergences and also I plan to add alert ;)
Average Indicators Positionsby this script you can see the average level of macd, macd-asprey, rsi, stochastic, cci, momentum, obv, DI, volume weighted macd, cmf indicators within a period. It also calculates and creates the same graph for higher time frame, so you can see average levels for current and higher time frame. you can also check it for divergence/convergence. You can use it as you wish and add/remove indicators.
VPT and Heiken Ashi Candles MTFThe volume price trend indicator is used to determine the balance between a security’s demand and supply. The percentage change in the share price trend shows the relative supply or demand of a particular security, while volume indicates the force behind the trend. The VPT indicator is similar to the on-balance volume (OBV) indicator in that it measures cumulative volume and provides traders with information about a security’s money flow
So we put the VPT and add HA candles with non repainting MTF , the crossing up or down of the VPT over candles create the signals
since VPT tend to overshoot you can smooth it with Leni..(just give the smoothing of the length this stupid name:) )
alerts inside
just example of play with MTF and the smooth of VPT
On Beaver Volume SentimentGeneral Market sentiment decoded from two Lazybear OBV's and a CCI.
Lots of strategies with this.
Main point is this indicator tries to be extra sensitive to relative volume changes but keep grounded in sentiment with the cci.
Let me know if you use this!

Close/OBV correlationA special Indicator based on correlation between On-Balance Volume and close price.
Volume Zone Oscillator and Price Zone (VZO/PZO) [NeoButane]" Volume Precedes Price is the conceptual idea for the oscillator."
"The main idea of the VZO was to try to change the OBV to look like an oscillator rather than an indicator, also to include time; primarily to identify which zone the volume is located in during a specific period "
How to read this indicator:
Positive reading -> bullish
Negative reading -> bearish
-60 or 60 is seen as the limit of the oscillator range, and a pullback should be expected from there.
Plus and minus signs have been added to the top and bottom for VZO and PZO, with an adjustable threshold to trigger.
Alert conditions have been added to this indicator for ease of use.

Accumulation/Distribution Volume (ADV) [cI8DH]This is the simplified and optimized version of my original ADV indicator. It shows both regular volume bars and the accumulated/distributed (A/D) portion of them. The equation is elegant and intuitive. It calculates candle body to candle height ratio and multiplies it by volume: volume*(close-open)/(high-low). This is the building block of my three other indicators, ADL, ADP and ADMF.
- The volume bars has two shades of green and red. The dark shade shows amount of A/D and the light shade shows total volume (what you see on a regular volume indicator).
When money volume is enabled, volume is multiplied by price. As you can see in the chart below, trade volume in terms of USD was growing over the past years.
- Blue line is the moving average of A/D and the orange line is for total volume. When "Baseline Chart" option is enabled, this moving average is identical to ADMF indicator which can be a powerful indicator for assessing buy/sell pressure as well as money flow and volume divergences. You can turn off volume bars (from style menu) for better visibility or you can use the below indicators.
Please note that ADMF is now available as a part of ADP indicator as well and I recommend using the latter since ADP can also replace CMF and MFI indicators.
- If you change the aggregation to cumulative (while having money volume disabled), the gray line becomes identical to On Balance Volume (OBV) and the blue line identical to my ADL indicator. The latter I would argue is more accurate than Chaikin's ADL, William's A/D and OBV.
volumestudy1nothing fancy about it' most of scri [t done by trader archer with obv formula here i change to different volume formula which give exact line of the real price bar (i hope)
free to change and do with it what ever you want:)
Leo Multi Divergence IndicatorI decided to make an indicator for divergence with multiple indicators.
Currently we have:
RSI,
Volume
OBV OSC
%B
All are at standard settings.
Let me know if you want to add any of them or if you find mistakes.
Accumulation/Distribution Money Flow [Cyrus c|:D]This indicator should be more accurate than other indicators in its class (including MFI, CMF, ADL, and OBV) for measuring buy/sell pressure, identifying trend change through divergence and calculating Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) level (I will explain why in a separate TA).
This indicator is based on my previous indicator "Accumulation/Distribution Volume". It does not include the volume bars. The volume effect is adjustable as well.
Application:
- Buy/sell pressure: above 0 shows buy pressure, below 0 shows sell pressure.
- Divergence: as shown in the chart above, this indicator diverged from BTC price during swing lows and highs in the shown period.
- Accumulation/distribution: set Aggregation=Sum, Volume Exponent=10 and uncheck Price Factor.
Recommendations:
- Never use SMA
- Use larger length EMA for confirmation of divergence or buy/sell pressure (EMA 27 is equal to RMA 14 which is used in RSI).
. A/D mode is not recommended for hidden divergence.
My Setup:
- I use one instances of this indicator with default settings for buy/sell pressure
- A second instance for A/D level overlaid on the main chart
- One instance of "Accumulation/Distribution Volume" as a replacement for volume indicator
This indicator can also replicate Accumulation/Distribution Line (improved by True Range), On Balance Volume, and Price Volume Trend. Read more details on the description of the previous indicator:
I strongly recommend reading about similar indicators for potential uses e.g. www.tradingview.com(MFI) and www.tradingview.com(PVT)
I will publish a TA about correctly measuring divergence and using these indicators.
Please report any problems you find in the comments.
Finite Volume Elements (FVE) Backtest The FVE is a pure volume indicator. Unlike most of the other indicators
(except OBV), price change doesn?t come into the equation for the FVE (price
is not multiplied by volume), but is only used to determine whether money is
flowing in or out of the stock. This is contrary to the current trend in the
design of modern money flow indicators. The author decided against a price-volume
indicator for the following reasons:
- A pure volume indicator has more power to contradict.
- The number of buyers or sellers (which is assessed by volume) will be the same,
regardless of the price fluctuation.
- Price-volume indicators tend to spike excessively at breakouts or breakdowns.
You can change long to short in the Input Settings

Multi OscillatorAn oscillator toolbox. Highly configurable.
Three oscillators can be selected to show the momentum of:
price
flow -> the change in price
volume
money -> (volume * flow)
See the comments at the beginning of the script for a complete description.

As my interest in oscillators increased, I was baffled by the vast jungle of available options. Over time, I did my best to distill the essence of what each indicator offered: RSI, Stoch RSI, CMF, OBV, MFI, MACD, VPT, Accum/Dist Index, Ehler's roofing...
Standing on the shoulders of giants, this indicator is a humble re-synthesis of all these indicators. The "value add" is in the organization, which facilitates the cohesive processing of different oscillators in one plot.
In this script, an oscillator is composed in stages:
Construct signal -> Remove noise -> Compose Oscillation -> Normalize -> Smooth -> Shape
where each stage is configurable.
There is a lot of flexibility, but once defined, each source (price, flow, volume, money) is constructed in the same way. This facilitates a degree of cohesion that is hard for my brain to render otherwise.
While I find the default settings valuable in my trading, there are so many ways to experiment. Find out what works for you! Share comments of new configurations... as we all learn!
On Balance Volume EMAThis is almost identical to OBV EMA 13 here , with the only difference being that the lookback period is customizable by the user in the indicator settings.
On Balance Volume (CCI-coded) [Krypt]This is a straightforward modification of LazyBear's CCI-coded OBV indicator with the following changes:
1) uses log-hl2 as source, which seems to be a more stable indicator of price change than close
2) adds optional price smoothing
