BabyShark VWAP Strategy What the code does:
This Pine Script implements a trading strategy based on two indicators: Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) and On Balance Volume (OBV) Relative Strength Index (RSI). The strategy aims to identify potential buy and sell signals based on deviations from VWAP and OBV RSI crossing certain threshold levels.
How it does it:
**VWAP Calculation**: The script calculates the VWAP using either standard deviation or average deviation over a specified length. It then plots the VWAP and its upper and lower deviation bands.
**OBV RSI Calculation**: It computes the OBV and then calculates the RSI using the cumulative changes in OBV. The RSI is plotted and compared against predefined levels.
**Table Visibility and Occurrence Counting**: It allows the user to display a table showing the number of occurrences where the price is above Upper Dev 2, below Lower Dev 2, crosses above a higher RSI level, or crosses below a lower RSI level.
**Entries**: Long and short entry conditions are defined based on the position of the price relative to the VWAP deviation bands and the color of the OBV RSI. Entries are made when specific conditions are met, and there hasn't been a recent entry.
**Exit Conditions**: The script includes stop-loss and take-profit mechanisms. It exits positions based on price crossing the VWAP or a certain percentage, and it prevents further trading after a certain number of consecutive losses.
What traders can use it for:
**Trend Identification**: Traders can use the VWAP and its deviation bands to identify potential trend reversals or continuations.
**Volume Confirmation**: The inclusion of OBV RSI provides confirmation of price movements based on volume changes.
**Entry and Exit Signals**: The script generates buy and sell signals based on the specified conditions, allowing traders to enter and exit positions with defined stop-loss and take-profit levels.
**Statistical Analysis**: The visibility of occurrence counts in the table allows traders to perform statistical analysis on the frequency of price movements relative to the VWAP and OBV RSI levels.

+ Breadth & Volumenote* If you've used my "+ Rate of Change Indicator", I am updating that without the OBV, which has been moved here. Just an FYI.
This "indicator" is basically a variety of indicators that measure volume, or accumulation/distribution. There's a bit of a story about how this came about but
it's not that interesting, so I'll spare you.
Indicators from which you may choose here are On Balance Volume (OBV), Money Flow Index (MFI), Chaikin Money Flow (CMF), Chaikin Oscillator, and Positive & Negative Net Volume.
I'll give a brief overview of these below, and if you want to educate yourself further on them you may. There are many web resources for that.
Most people are probably familiar with OBV. It's one of the more commonly used volume indicators, especially in the crypto crowd (at least amongst those traders I follow). It's basically a cumulative (doesn't oscillate around a midpoint) momentum indicator that measures volume of the current period versus volume of the previous period and adds it if price closed higher, but subtracts it if price closes lower. It's another way of using volume to confirm trend.
The MFI is a momentum indicator that measures the flow of money into and out of an asset over some period of time (user input). It's calculated using the RSI, so it can be used similarly to RSI (divergences, overbought, oversold, etc.), but of course unlike the RSI it's calculated primarily using volume and comparing the most recent candle close to the previous one (similar to OBV).
CMF is a volume-weighted average of accumulation and distribution over a some period of time (typically 21). It's a way of measuring accumulation versus
distribution in an asset, and oscillates around a zero line. You would use it similarly to any other oscillator, in that you can look for divergences, and general positive or negative momentum.
Chaikin Oscillator is basically a MACD (without signal line) of the accumulation and distribution index (or line--which is somehow different than simply accumulation and distribution). I haven't looked into these differences deeply, but if you look below at the calculations, and substituted 'ad' for 'accdist' you get very different readings. I actually did that, and what it looks like it would do is turn the actual Oscillator into a MACD signal line. So, by substituting 'ad' for 'accdist' (or the accumulation/distribution index) you produce a signal line of the Chaikin Oscillator.
Anyway, all that confusion out of the way, as I said, it's a MACD on the accumulation and distribution index, therefore it is another zero line oscillator, and similarly to CMF, it's a way of measuring price movements in the chart versus a/d. The zero line isn't just any old zero line, however, it is actually the accumulation distribution line. I've made an OBV version of this by substituting the OBV for AD, so if you prefer OBV maybe you will like that.
Pos. & Neg Net Volume is actually an indicator I had seen made by RafaelZioni. It basically takes net volume, calculates a cumulative of that, then subtracts a moving average of some period from the cumulative net volume in order to create a volume oscillator. Use it like the other oscillators!
Added Donchian Channels, moving averages, Bollinger Bands, colored everything, and alerts.
Enjoy!
Below I will post images with the different indicators, everything on default settings (except for lookback period, which I have adjusted to my personal preferences).
Above is an image with the MFI being compared to the RSI since they are very similar (MFI being basically a volume derivative of the RSI).
Chaikin Money Flow set to lookback of 13. You could probably extend that a bit if you wanted to smooth the line more.

On Balance Volume Oscillator + Bollinger Bands [SigmaDraconis]On Balance Volume (OBV) Oscillator with Bollinger Bands (BB).
Inspired by @LazyBear OBV Oscillator (link below)
Added BB to the oscillator and colored the OBV line yellow when it's outside the bands' limits, useful for finding over-extended zones where price reversals have higher probability of happening.
BB bands can be deactivated and the oscillator can be used as originally built by LazyBear if the BB bands are disabled and the OBV area activated.
Finding divergences helps increasing price behavior predictability too.
BB area is colored green when OBV is above the 20-period moving average and colored red when below it. This can be deactivated on the options to use regular BB colors or no BB at all.

Linh's Anomaly Radar v2What this script does
It’s an event detector for price/volume anomalies that often precede or confirm moves.
It watches a bunch of patterns (Wyckoff tests, squeezes, failed breakouts, turnover bursts, etc.), applies robust z-scores, optional trend filters, cooldowns (to avoid spam), and then fires:
A shape/label on the bar,
A row in the mini panel (top-right),
A ready-made alertcondition you can hook into.
How to add & set up (TradingView)
Paste the script → Save → Add to chart on Daily first (works on any TF).
Open Settings → Inputs:
General
• Use Robust Z (MAD): more outlier-resistant; keep on.
• Z Lookback: 60 bars is ~3 months; bump to 120 for slower regimes.
• Cooldown: min bars to wait before the same signal can fire again (default 5).
• Use trend filter: if on, “bullish” signals only fire above SMA(tfLen), “bearish” below.
Thresholds: fine-tune sensitivity (defaults are sane).
To create alerts: Right-click chart → Add alert
Condition: Linh’s Anomaly Radar v2 → choose a specific signal or Composite (Σ).
Options: “Once per bar close” (recommended).
Customize message if you want ticker/timeframe in your phone push.
The mini panel (top-right)
Signal column: short code (see cheat sheet below).
Fired column: a dot “•” means that on the latest bar this signal fired.
Score (right column): total count of signals that fired this bar.
Σ≥N shows your composite threshold (how many must fire to trigger the “Composite” alert).

How to use it (playbooks)
A) Daily scan workflow
Run on Daily for your VN watchlist.
Turn Composite (Σ) alert on with Σ≥2 or ≥3 to reduce noise.
When a bar fires Σ (or a fav combo like STL + BB↑), drop to 60-min to time entries.
B) Breakout quality check
Look for 52W together with BB↑, TAC, and OBV.
If WER/ND appear near highs → downgrade the breakout.
C) Spring/UTAD reversals
If SPR fires near major support and RBd confirms → long bias with stop below spring low.
If UTD + WER/RS↑ near resistance → short/fade with stop above UTAD high.
D) Accumulation basing
During bases, you want CLS, OBV, TGV, STL, NR7.
A pocket pivot (PIV) can be your early add; manage risk below base lows.
Tuning tips
Too many signals? Raise stealthVolZ to 5.5–6, evrVolZ to 3.5, use Σ≥3.
Fast movers? Lower bbwZthr to −1.0 (less strict squeeze), keep trend filter on.
Illiquid tickers? Keep MAD z-scores on, increase lookbacks (e.g., lenZ=120).
Limitations & good habits
First lenZ bars on a new symbol are less reliable (incomplete z-window).
Some ideas (VWAP magnet, close auction spikes, ETF/foreign flows, options skew) need intraday/external feeds — not included here.
Pine can’t “screen” across the whole market; set alerts or cycle your watchlist.
Quick troubleshooting
Compilation errors: make sure you’re on Pine v6; don’t nest functions in if blocks; each var int must be declared on its own line.
No shapes firing: check trend filter (maybe price is below SMA and you’re waiting for bullish signals), and verify thresholds aren’t too strict.

## Entry and Exit Strategies
### Dual-Channel System
A key innovation of the Bober XM is its dual-channel approach:
- **Independent Parameters**: Each trade direction has its own channel settings
- **Asymmetric Trading**: Recognizes that markets often behave differently in uptrends versus downtrends
- **Optimized Performance**: Fine-tune settings for both bullish and bearish conditions
This approach allows the bot to adapt to the natural asymmetry of markets, where uptrends often develop gradually while downtrends can be sharp and sudden.
### Channel Types
#### 1. Keltner Channels
Traditional volatility-based channels using EMA and ATR:
| Setting | Long Default | Short Default |
|---------|--------------|---------------|
| **EMA Length** | 37 | 20 |
| **ATR Length** | 13 | 17 |
| **Multiplier** | 1.4 | 1.9 |
| **Source** | low | high |
- **Strengths**:
- Reliable in trending markets
- Less prone to whipsaws than Bollinger Bands
- Clear visual representation of volatility
- **Weaknesses**:
- Can lag during rapid market changes
- Less effective in choppy, non-trending markets
#### 2. Machine Learning Moving Average (MLMA)
Advanced predictive model using kernel regression (RBF kernel):
| Setting | Description | Options |
|---------|-------------|--------|
| **Source MA** | Price data used for MA calculations | Any price source (low/high/close/etc.) |

- Adapts quickly to changing market conditions
- Better at identifying trend reversals early
- **Weaknesses**:
- More computationally intensive
- Requires careful parameter tuning
- Can be sensitive to input data quality
### Entry Strategies
| Strategy | Description | Ideal Market Conditions |
|----------|-------------|-------------------------|
| **Breakout** | Enters when price breaks through channel bands, indicating strong momentum | High volatility, emerging trends |
| **Pullback** | Enters when price retraces to the middle band after testing extremes | Established trends with regular pullbacks |
| **Mean Reversion** | Enters at channel extremes, betting on a return to the mean | Range-bound or oscillating markets |
#### Breakout Strategy (Default)
- **Implementation**: Enters long when price crosses above the upper band, short when price crosses below the lower band
- **Strengths**: Captures strong momentum moves, performs well in trending markets
- **Weaknesses**: Can lead to late entries, higher risk of false breakouts
- **Optimization Tips**:
- Increase channel multiplier for fewer but more reliable signals
- Combine with volume confirmation for better accuracy
#### Pullback Strategy
- **Implementation**: Enters long when price pulls back to middle band during uptrend, short during downtrend pullbacks
- **Strengths**: Better entry prices, lower risk, higher probability setups
- **Weaknesses**: Misses some strong moves, requires clear trend identification
- **Optimization Tips**:
- Use with trend filters to confirm overall direction
- Adjust middle band calculation for market volatility
#### Mean Reversion Strategy
- **Implementation**: Enters long at lower band, short at upper band, expecting price to revert to the mean
- **Strengths**: Excellent entry prices, works well in ranging markets
- **Weaknesses**: Dangerous in strong trends, can lead to fighting the trend
- **Optimization Tips**:
- Implement strong trend filters to avoid counter-trend trades
- Use smaller position sizes due to higher risk nature
### Confirmation Indicators
#### Pivot Point SuperTrend
Combines pivot points with ATR-based SuperTrend for trend confirmation:

- Percentage stops maintain consistent risk exposure
- PIP-based stops provide precise control in stable markets
### Trailing Stops
Locks in profits by adjusting stop-loss levels as price moves favorably:
| Setting | Default Value |
|---------|---------------|
| **Stop-Loss %** | 1.5% |
| **Activation Threshold** | 2.1% |
| **Trailing Distance** | 1.4% |
- **Implementation**:
- Initial stop remains fixed until profit reaches activation threshold
- Once activated, stop follows price at specified distance
- Locks in profit while allowing room for normal price fluctuations
### Risk-Reward Parameters
Defines the relationship between risk and potential reward:
| Setting | Default Value |
|---------|---------------|
| **Risk-Reward Ratio** | 1.4 |
| **Take Profit %** | 2.4% |
| **Stop-Loss %** | 1.5% |
- **Implementation**:
- Take profit distance = Stop loss distance × Risk-reward ratio
- Higher ratios require fewer winning trades for profitability
- Lower ratios increase win rate but reduce average profit
### Filter Combinations
The strategy allows for simultaneous application of multiple filters:
- **Recommended Combinations**:
- Trending markets: RSI + KEMAD filters
- Ranging markets: Bollinger Bands + Volatility filters
- All markets: Volume filter as minimum requirement
- **Performance Impact**:
- Each additional filter reduces the number of trades
- Quality of remaining trades typically improves
- Optimal combination depends on market conditions and timeframe
### Multi-Timeframe Filter Applications
| Filter Type | Current Timeframe | MTF1 (15min) | MTF2 (4h) |
|-------------|-------------------|-------------|------------|
| RSI | Quick entries/exits | Intraday trend | Overall trend |
| Volume | Immediate liquidity | Sustained support | Market participation |
| Volatility | Entry timing | Short-term risk | Regime changes |
| KEMAD | Precise signals | Trend confirmation | Major reversals |

## Conclusion
The ₿ober XM v2.0 represents a significant evolution in trading strategy design, combining traditional technical analysis with machine learning elements and multi-timeframe analysis. The core strength of this system lies in its adaptability and recognition of market asymmetry.
### Market Asymmetry and Adaptive Approach
The strategy acknowledges a fundamental truth about markets: bullish and bearish phases behave differently and should be treated as distinct environments. The dual-channel system with separate parameters for long and short positions directly addresses this asymmetry, allowing for optimized performance regardless of market direction.
### Targeted Backtesting Philosophy
It's counterproductive to run backtests over excessively long periods. Markets evolve continuously, and strategies that worked in previous market regimes may be ineffective in current conditions. Instead:
- Test specific market phases separately (bull markets, bear markets, range-bound periods)
- Regularly re-optimize parameters as market conditions change
- Focus on recent performance with higher weight than historical results
- Test across multiple timeframes to ensure robustness
### Multi-Timeframe Analysis as a Game-Changer
The integration of multi-timeframe analysis fundamentally transforms the strategy's effectiveness:
- **Increased Safety**: Higher timeframe confirmations reduce false signals and improve trade quality
- **Context Awareness**: Decisions made with awareness of larger trends reduce adverse entries
- **Adaptable Precision**: Apply strict filters on lower timeframes while maintaining awareness of broader conditions
- **Reduced Noise**: Higher timeframe data naturally filters market noise that can trigger poor entries
The ₿ober XM v2.0 provides traders with a framework that acknowledges market complexity while offering practical tools to navigate it. With proper setup, realistic expectations, and attention to changing market conditions, it delivers a sophisticated approach to systematic trading that can be continuously refined and optimized.
ChopFlow ATR Scalp StrategyA lean, high-velocity scalp framework for NQ and other futures that blends trend clarity, volume confirmation, and adaptive exits to give you precise, actionable signals—no cluttered bands or lagging indicators.
⸻
🔍 Overview
This strategy locks onto rapid intraday moves by:
• Filtering for directional momentum with the Choppiness Index (CI)
• Confirming conviction via On-Balance Volume (OBV) against its moving average
• Automatically sizing stops and targets with a multiple of the Average True Range (ATR)
It’s designed for scalp traders who need clean, timely entries without wading through choppy noise.
⸻
⚙️ Key Features & Inputs
1. ATR Length & Multiplier
• Controls exit distances based on current volatility.
2. Choppiness Length & Threshold
• Measures trend strength; only fires when the market isn’t “stuck in the mud.”
3. OBV SMA Length
• Smoothes volume flow to confirm genuine buying or selling pressure.
4. Custom Session Hours
• Avoid overnight gaps or low-liquidity periods.
All inputs are exposed for rapid tuning to your preferred scalp cadence.
🚀 How It Works
1. Long Entry triggers when:
• CI < threshold (strong trend)
• OBV > its SMA (positive volume flow)
• You’re within the defined session
2. Short Entry mirrors the above (CI < threshold, OBV < SMA)
3. Exit uses ATR × multiplier for both stop-loss and take-profit
⸻
🎯 Usage Tips
• Start with defaults (ATR 14, multiplier 1.5; CI 14, threshold 60; OBV SMA 10).
• Monitor signal frequency, then tighten/loosen CI or OBV look-back as needed.
• Pair with a fast MA crossover or price-action trigger if you want even sharper timing.
• Backtest across different sessions (early open vs. power hours) to find your edge.
⸻

Dskyz (DAFE) Aurora Divergence – Quant Master Dskyz (DAFE) Aurora Divergence – Quant Master
Introducing the Dskyz (DAFE) Aurora Divergence – Quant Master , a strategy that’s your secret weapon for mastering futures markets like MNQ, NQ, MES, and ES. Born from the legendary Aurora Divergence indicator, this fully automated system transforms raw divergence signals into a quant-grade trading machine, blending precision, risk management, and cyberpunk DAFE visuals that make your charts glow like a neon skyline. Crafted with care and driven by community passion, this strategy stands out in a sea of generic scripts, offering traders a unique edge to outsmart institutional traps and navigate volatile markets.
The Aurora Divergence indicator was a cult favorite for spotting price-OBV divergences with its aqua and fuchsia orbs, but traders craved a system to act on those signals with discipline and automation. This strategy delivers, layering advanced filters (z-score, ATR, multi-timeframe, session), dynamic risk controls (kill switches, adaptive stops/TPs), and a real-time dashboard to turn insights into profits. Whether you’re a newbie dipping into futures or a pro hunting reversals, this strat’s got your back with a beginner guide, alerts, and visuals that make trading feel like a sci-fi mission. Let’s dive into every detail and see why this original DAFE creation is a must-have.
Why Traders Need This Strategy
Futures markets are a battlefield—fast-paced, volatile, and riddled with institutional games that can wipe out undisciplined traders. From the April 28, 2025 NQ 1k-point drop to sneaky ES slippage, the stakes are high. Meanwhile, platforms are flooded with unoriginal, low-effort scripts that promise the moon but deliver noise. The Aurora Divergence – Quant Master rises above, offering:
Unmatched Originality: A bespoke system built from the ground up, with custom divergence logic, DAFE visuals, and quant filters that set it apart from copycat clutter.
Automation with Precision: Executes trades on divergence signals, eliminating emotional slip-ups and ensuring consistency, even in chaotic sessions.
Quant-Grade Filters: Z-score, ATR, multi-timeframe, and session checks filter out noise, targeting high-probability reversals.
Robust Risk Management: Daily loss and rolling drawdown kill switches, plus ATR-based stops/TPs, protect your capital like a fortress.
Stunning DAFE Visuals: Aqua/fuchsia orbs, aurora bands, and a glowing dashboard make signals intuitive and charts a work of art.
Community-Driven: Evolved from trader feedback, this strat’s a labor of love, not a recycled knockoff.
Traders need this because it’s a complete, original system that blends accessibility, sophistication, and style. It’s your edge to trade smarter, not harder, in a market full of traps and imitators.
1. Divergence Detection (Core Signal Logic)
The strategy’s core is its ability to detect bullish and bearish divergences between price and On-Balance Volume (OBV), pinpointing reversals with surgical accuracy.
How It Works:
Price Slope: Uses linear regression over a lookback (default: 9 bars) to measure price momentum (priceSlope).
OBV Slope: OBV tracks volume flow (+volume if price rises, -volume if falls), with its slope calculated similarly (obvSlope).
Bullish Divergence: Price slope negative (falling), OBV slope positive (rising), and price above 50-bar SMA (trend_ma).
Bearish Divergence: Price slope positive (rising), OBV slope negative (falling), and price below 50-bar SMA.
Smoothing: Requires two consecutive divergence bars (bullDiv2, bearDiv2) to confirm signals, reducing false positives.
Strength: Divergence intensity (divStrength = |priceSlope * obvSlope| * sensitivity) is normalized (0–1, divStrengthNorm) for visuals.
Why It’s Brilliant:
- Divergences catch hidden momentum shifts, often exploited by institutions, giving you an edge on reversals.
- The 50-bar SMA filter aligns signals with the broader trend, avoiding choppy markets.
- Adjustable lookback (min: 3) and sensitivity (default: 1.0) let you tune for different instruments or timeframes.
2. Filters for Precision
Four advanced filters ensure signals are high-probability and market-aligned, cutting through the noise of volatile futures.
Z-Score Filter:
Logic: Calculates z-score ((close - SMA) / stdev) over a lookback (default: 50 bars). Blocks entries if |z-score| > threshold (default: 1.5) unless disabled (useZFilter = false).
Impact: Avoids trades during extreme price moves (e.g., blow-off tops), keeping you in statistically safe zones.
ATR Percentile Volatility Filter:
Logic: Tracks 14-bar ATR in a 100-bar window (default). Requires current ATR > 80th percentile (percATR) to trade (tradeOk).
Impact: Ensures sufficient volatility for meaningful moves, filtering out low-volume chop.
Multi-Timeframe (HTF) Trend Filter:
Logic: Uses a 50-bar SMA on a higher timeframe (default: 60min). Longs require price > HTF MA (bullTrendOK), shorts < HTF MA (bearTrendOK).
Impact: Aligns trades with the bigger trend, reducing counter-trend losses.
US Session Filter:
Logic: Restricts trading to 9:30am–4:00pm ET (default: enabled, useSession = true) using America/New_York timezone.
Impact: Focuses on high-liquidity hours, avoiding overnight spreads and erratic moves.
Evolution:
- These filters create a robust signal pipeline, ensuring trades are timed for optimal conditions.
- Customizable inputs (e.g., zThreshold, atrPercentile) let traders adapt to their style without compromising quality.
3. Risk Management
The strategy’s risk controls are a masterclass in balancing aggression and safety, protecting capital in volatile markets.
Daily Loss Kill Switch:
Logic: Tracks daily loss (dayStartEquity - strategy.equity). Halts trading if loss ≥ $300 (default) and enabled (killSwitch = true, killSwitchActive).
Impact: Caps daily downside, crucial during events like April 27, 2025 ES slippage.
Rolling Drawdown Kill Switch:
Logic: Monitors drawdown (rollingPeak - strategy.equity) over 100 bars (default). Stops trading if > $1000 (rollingKill).
Impact: Prevents prolonged losing streaks, preserving capital for better setups.
Dynamic Stop-Loss and Take-Profit:
Logic: Stops = entry ± ATR * multiplier (default: 1.0x, stopDist). TPs = entry ± ATR * 1.5x (profitDist). Longs: stop below, TP above; shorts: vice versa.
Impact: Adapts to volatility, keeping stops tight but realistic, with TPs targeting 1.5:1 reward/risk.
Max Bars in Trade:
Logic: Closes trades after 8 bars (default) if not already exited.
Impact: Frees capital from stagnant trades, maintaining efficiency.
Kill Switch Buffer Dashboard:
Logic: Shows smallest buffer ($300 - daily loss or $1000 - rolling DD). Displays 0 (red) if kill switch active, else buffer (green).
Impact: Real-time risk visibility, letting traders adjust dynamically.
Why It’s Brilliant:
- Kill switches and ATR-based exits create a safety net, rare in generic scripts.
- Customizable risk inputs (maxDailyLoss, dynamicStopMult) suit different account sizes.
- Buffer metric empowers disciplined trading, a DAFE signature.
4. Trade Entry and Exit Logic
The entry/exit rules are precise, filtered, and adaptive, ensuring trades are deliberate and profitable.
Entry Conditions:
Long Entry: bullDiv2, cooldown passed (canSignal), ATR filter passed (tradeOk), in US session (inSession), no kill switches (not killSwitchActive, not rollingKill), z-score OK (zOk), HTF trend bullish (bullTrendOK), no existing long (lastDirection != 1, position_size <= 0). Closes shorts first.
Short Entry: Same, but for bearDiv2, bearTrendOK, no long (lastDirection != -1, position_size >= 0). Closes longs first.
Adaptive Cooldown: Default 2 bars (cooldownBars). Doubles (up to 10) after a losing trade, resets after wins (dynamicCooldown).
Exit Conditions:
Stop-Loss/Take-Profit: Set per trade (ATR-based). Exits on stop/TP hits.
Other Exits: Closes if maxBarsInTrade reached, ATR filter fails, or kill switch activates.
Position Management: Ensures no conflicting positions, closing opposites before new entries.
Built To Be Reliable and Consistent:
- Multi-filtered entries minimize false signals, a stark contrast to basic scripts.
- Adaptive cooldown prevents overtrading, especially after losses.
- Clean position handling ensures smooth execution, even in fast markets.
5. DAFE Visuals
The visuals are a DAFE hallmark, blending function with clean flair to make signals intuitive and charts stunning.
Aurora Bands:
Display: Bands around price during divergences (bullish: below low, bearish: above high), sized by ATR * bandwidth (default: 0.5).
Colors: Aqua (bullish), fuchsia (bearish), with transparency tied to divStrengthNorm.
Purpose: Highlights divergence zones with a glowing, futuristic vibe.
Divergence Orbs:
Display: Large/small circles (aqua below for bullish, fuchsia above for bearish) when bullDiv2/bearDiv2 and canSignal. Labels show strength (0–1).
Purpose: Pinpoints entries with eye-catching clarity.
Gradient Background:
Display: Green (bullish), red (bearish), or gray (neutral), 90–95% transparent.
Purpose: Sets the market mood without clutter.
Strategy Plots:
- Stop/TP Lines: Red (stops), green (TPs) for active trades.
- HTF MA: Yellow line for trend context.

Divergence IQ [TradingIQ]Hello Traders!
Introducing "Divergence IQ"
Divergence IQ lets traders identify divergences between price action and almost ANY TradingView technical indicator. This tool is designed to help you spot potential trend reversals and continuation patterns with a range of configurable features.
Features
Divergence Detection
Detects both regular and hidden divergences for bullish and bearish setups by comparing price movements with changes in the indicator.
Offers two detection methods: one based on classic pivot point analysis and another that provides immediate divergence signals.
Option to use closing prices for divergence detection, allowing you to choose the data that best fits your strategy.
Normalization Options:
Includes multiple normalization techniques such as robust scaling, rolling Z-score, rolling min-max, or no normalization at all.
Adjustable normalization window lets you customize the indicator to suit various market conditions.
Option to display the normalized indicator on the chart for clearer visual comparison.
Allows traders to take indicators that aren't oscillators, and convert them into an oscillator - allowing for better divergence detection.
Simulated Trade Management:
Integrates simulated trade entries and exits based on divergence signals to demonstrate potential trading outcomes.
Customizable exit strategies with options for ATR-based or percentage-based stop loss and profit target settings.
Automatically calculates key trade metrics such as profit percentage, win rate, profit factor, and total trade count.
Visual Enhancements and On-Chart Displays:
Color-coded signals differentiate between bullish, bearish, hidden bullish, and hidden bearish divergence setups.
On-chart labels, lines, and gradient flow visualizations clearly mark divergence signals, entry points, and exit levels.
Configurable settings let you choose whether to display divergence signals on the price chart or in a separate pane.
Performance Metrics Table:
A performance table dynamically displays important statistics like profit, win rate, profit factor, and number of trades.
This feature offers an at-a-glance assessment of how the divergence-based strategy is performing.
The image above shows Divergence IQ successfully identifying and trading a bullish divergence between an indicator and price action!
The image above shows Divergence IQ successfully identifying and trading a bearish divergence between an indicator and price action!
The image above shows Divergence IQ successfully identifying and trading a hidden bullish divergence between an indicator and price action!
The image above shows Divergence IQ successfully identifying and trading a hidden bearish divergence between an indicator and price action!
The performance table is designed to provide a clear summary of simulated trade results based on divergence setups. You can easily review key metrics to assess the strategy’s effectiveness over different time periods.
Customization and Adaptability
Divergence IQ offers a wide range of configurable settings to tailor the indicator to your personal trading approach. You can adjust the lookback and lookahead periods for pivot detection, select your preferred method for normalization, and modify trade exit parameters to manage risk according to your strategy. The tool’s clear visual elements and comprehensive performance metrics make it a useful addition to your technical analysis toolbox.
The image above shows Divergence IQ identifying divergences between price action and OBV with no normalization technique applied.
While traders can look for divergences between OBV and price, OBV doesn't naturally behave like an oscillator, with no definable upper and lower threshold, OBV can infinitely increase or decrease.
With Divergence IQ's ability to normalize any indicator, traders can normalize non-oscillator technical indicators such as OBV, CVD, MACD, or even a moving average.
In the image above, the "Robust Scaling" normalization technique is selected. Consequently, the output of OBV has changed and is now behaving similar to an oscillator-like technical indicator. This makes spotting divergences between the indicator and price easier and more appropriate.
The three normalization techniques included will change the indicator's final output to be more compatible with divergence detection.
This feature can be used with almost any technical indicator.
Stop Type
Traders can select between ATR based profit targets and stop losses, or percentage based profit targets and stop losses.
The image above shows options for the feature.
Divergence Detection Method
A natural pitfall of divergence trading is that it generally takes several bars to "confirm" a divergence. This makes trading the divergence complicated, because the entry at time of the divergence might look great; however, the divergence wasn't actually signaled until several bars later.
To circumvent this issue, Divergence IQ offers two divergence detection mechanisms.
Pivot Detection
Pivot detection mode is the same as almost every divergence indicator on TradingView. The Pivots High Low indicator is used to detect market/indicator highs and lows and, consequently, divergences.
This method generally finds the "best looking" divergences, but will always take additional time to confirm the divergence.
Immediate Detection
Immediate detection mode attempts to reduce lag between the divergence and its confirmation to as little as possible while avoiding repainting.
Immediate detection mode still uses the Pivots Detection model to find the first high/low of a divergence. However, the most recent high/low does not utilize the Pivot Detection model, and instead immediately looks for a divergence between price and an indicator.
Immediate Detection Mode will always signal a divergence one bar after it's occurred, and traders can set alerts in this mode to be alerted as soon as the divergence occurs.
TradingView Backtester Integration
Divergence IQ is fully compatible with the TradingView backtester!
Divergence IQ isn’t designed to be a “profitable strategy” for users to trade. Instead, the intention of including the backtester is to let users backtest divergence-based trading strategies between the asset on their chart and almost any technical indicator, and to see if divergences have any predictive utility in that market.
So while the backtester is available in Divergence IQ, it’s for users to personally figure out if they should consider a divergence an actionable insight, and not a solicitation that Divergence IQ is a profitable trading strategy. Divergence IQ should be thought of as a Divergence backtesting toolkit, not a full-feature trading strategy.
Strategy Properties Used For Backtest
Initial Capital: $1000 - a realistic amount of starting capital that will resonate with many traders
Amount Per Trade: 5% of equity - a realistic amount of capital to invest relative to portfolio size
Commission: 0.02% - a conservative amount of commission to pay for trade that is standard in crypto trading, and very high for other markets.
Slippage: 1 tick - appropriate for liquid markets, but must be increased in markets with low activity.
Once more, the backtester is meant for traders to personally figure out if divergences are actionable trading signals on the market they wish to trade with the indicator they wish to use.
And that's all!
If you have any cool features you think can benefit Divergence IQ - please feel free to share them!
Thank you so much TradingView community!

On Balance Volume Oscillator of Trading Volume TrendOn Balance Volume Oscillator of Trading Volume Trend
Introduction
This indicator, the "On Balance Volume Oscillator of Trading Volume Trend," is a technical analysis tool designed to provide insights into market momentum and potential trend reversals by combining the On Balance Volume (OBV) and Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicators.
Calculation and Methodology
* OBV Calculation: The indicator first calculates the On Balance Volume, which is a cumulative total of the volume of up days minus the volume of down days. This provides a running tally of buying and selling pressure.
* RSI of OBV: The RSI is then applied to the OBV values to smooth the data and identify overbought or oversold conditions.
* Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs): Two EMAs are calculated on the RSI of OBV. A shorter-term EMA (9-period in this case) and a longer-term EMA (100-period) are used to generate signals.
Interpretation and Usage
* EMA Crossovers: When the shorter-term EMA crosses above the longer-term EMA, it suggests increasing bullish momentum. Conversely, a downward crossover indicates weakening bullish momentum or increasing bearish pressure.
* RSI Divergences: Divergences between the price and the indicator can signal potential trend reversals. For example, if the price is making new highs but the indicator is failing to do so, it could be a bearish divergence.
* Overbought/Oversold Conditions: When the RSI of OBV is above 70, it suggests the market may be overbought and a potential correction could be imminent. Conversely, when it is below 30, it suggests the market may be oversold.
Visual Representation
The indicator is plotted on a chart with multiple lines and filled areas:
* Two EMAs: The shorter-term EMA and longer-term EMA are plotted to show the trend of the OBV.
* Filled Areas: The area between the two EMAs is filled with a color to indicate the strength of the trend. The color changes based on whether the shorter-term EMA is above or below the longer-term EMA.
* RSI Bands: Horizontal lines at 30 and 70 mark the overbought and oversold levels for the RSI of OBV.
Summary
The On Balance Volume Oscillator of Trading Volume Trend provides a comprehensive view of market momentum and can be a valuable tool for traders. By combining the OBV and RSI, this indicator helps identify potential trend reversals, overbought and oversold conditions, and the strength of the current trend.
Note: This indicator should be used in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and fundamental analysis to make informed trading decisions.
Six PillarsGeneral Overview
The "Six Pillars" indicator is a comprehensive trading tool that combines six different technical analysis methods to provide a holistic view of market conditions.
These six pillars are:
Trend
Momentum
Directional Movement (DM)
Stochastic
Fractal
On-Balance Volume (OBV)
The indicator calculates the state of each pillar and presents them in an easy-to-read table format. It also compares the current timeframe with a user-defined comparison timeframe to offer a multi-timeframe analysis.
A key feature of this indicator is the Confluence Strength meter. This unique metric quantifies the overall agreement between the six pillars across both timeframes, providing a score out of 100. A higher score indicates stronger agreement among the pillars, suggesting a more reliable trading signal.
I also included a visual cue in the form of candle coloring. When all six pillars agree on a bullish or bearish direction, the candle is colored green or red, respectively. This feature allows traders to quickly identify potential high-probability trade setups.
The Six Pillars indicator is designed to work across multiple timeframes, offering a comparison between the current timeframe and a user-defined comparison timeframe. This multi-timeframe analysis provides traders with a more comprehensive understanding of market dynamics.
Origin and Inspiration
The Six Pillars indicator was inspired by the work of Dr. Barry Burns, author of "Trend Trading for Dummies" and his concept of "5 energies." (Trend, Momentum, Cycle, Support/Resistance, Scale) I was intrigued by Dr. Burns' approach to analyzing market dynamics and decided to put my own twist upon his ideas.
Comparing the Six Pillars to Dr. Burns' 5 energies, you'll notice I kept Trend and Momentum, but I swapped out Cycle, Support/Resistance, and Scale for Directional Movement, Stochastic, Fractal, and On-Balance Volume. These changes give you a more dynamic view of market strength, potential reversals, and volume confirmation all in one package.
What Makes This Indicator Unique
The standout feature of the Six Pillars indicator is its Confluence Strength meter. This feature calculates the overall agreement between the six pillars, providing traders with a clear, numerical representation of signal strength.
The strength is calculated by considering the state of each pillar in both the current and comparison timeframes, resulting in a score out of 100.
Here's how it calculates the strength:
It considers the state of each pillar in both the current timeframe and the comparison timeframe.
For each pillar, the absolute value of its state is taken. This means that both strongly bullish (2) and strongly bearish (-2) states contribute equally to the strength.
The absolute values for all six pillars are summed up for both timeframes, resulting in two sums: current_sum and alternate_sum.
These sums are then added together to get a total_sum.
The total_sum is divided by 24 (the maximum possible sum if all pillars were at their strongest states in both timeframes) and multiplied by 100 to get a percentage.
The result is rounded to the nearest integer and capped at a minimum of 1.
This calculation method ensures that the Confluence Strength meter takes into account not only the current timeframe but also the comparison timeframe, providing a more robust measure of overall market sentiment. The resulting score, ranging from 1 to 100, gives traders a clear and intuitive measure of how strongly the pillars agree, with higher scores indicating stronger potential signals.
This approach to measuring signal strength is unique in that it doesn't just rely on a single aspect of price action or volume. Instead, it takes into account multiple factors, providing a more robust and reliable indication of potential market moves. The higher the Confluence Strength score, the more confident traders can be in the signal.
The Confluence Strength meter helps traders in several ways:
It provides a quick and easy way to gauge the overall market sentiment.
It helps prioritize potential trades by identifying the strongest signals.
It can be used as a filter to avoid weaker setups and focus on high-probability trades.
It offers an additional layer of confirmation for other trading strategies or indicators.
By combining the Six Pillars analysis with the Confluence Strength meter, I've created a powerful tool that not only identifies potential trading opportunities but also quantifies their strength, giving traders a significant edge in their decision-making process.
How the Pillars Work (What Determines Bullish or Bearish)
While developing this indicator, I selected and configured six key components that work together to provide a comprehensive view of market conditions. Each pillar is set up to complement the others, creating a synergistic effect that offers traders a more nuanced understanding of price action and volume.
Trend Pillar: Based on two Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) - a fast EMA (8 period) and a slow EMA (21 period). It determines the trend by comparing these EMAs, with stronger trends indicated when the fast EMA is significantly above or below the slow EMA.
Directional Movement (DM) Pillar: Utilizes the Average Directional Index (ADX) with a default period of 14. It measures trend strength, with values above 25 indicating a strong trend. It also considers the Positive and Negative Directional Indicators (DI+ and DI-) to determine trend direction.
Momentum Pillar: Uses the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) with customizable fast (12), slow (26), and signal (9) lengths. It compares the MACD line to the signal line to determine momentum strength and direction.
Stochastic Pillar: Employs the Stochastic oscillator with a default period of 13. It identifies overbought conditions (above 80) and oversold conditions (below 20), with intermediate zones between 60-80 and 20-40.
Fractal Pillar: Uses Williams' Fractal indicator with a default period of 3. It identifies potential reversal points by looking for specific high and low patterns over the given period.
On-Balance Volume (OBV) Pillar: Incorporates On-Balance Volume with three EMAs - short (3), medium (13), and long (21) periods. It assesses volume trends by comparing these EMAs.
Each pillar outputs a state ranging from -2 (strongly bearish) to 2 (strongly bullish), with 0 indicating a neutral state. This standardized output allows for easy comparison and aggregation of signals across all pillars.
Users can customize various parameters for each pillar, allowing them to fine-tune the indicator to their specific trading style and market conditions. The multi-timeframe comparison feature also allows users to compare pillar states between the current timeframe and a user-defined comparison timeframe, providing additional context for decision-making.
Design
From a design standpoint, I've put considerable effort into making the Six Pillars indicator visually appealing and user-friendly. The clean and minimalistic design is a key feature that sets this indicator apart.
I've implemented a sleek table layout that displays all the essential information in a compact and organized manner. The use of a dark background (#030712) for the table creates a sleek look that's easy on the eyes, especially during extended trading sessions.
The overall design philosophy focuses on presenting complex information in a simple, intuitive format, allowing traders to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently.
The color scheme is carefully chosen to provide clear visual cues:
White text for headers ensures readability
Green (#22C55E) for bullish signals
Blue (#3B82F6) for neutral states
Red (#EF4444) for bearish signals
This color coding extends to the candle coloring, making it easy to spot when all pillars agree on a bullish or bearish outlook.
I've also incorporated intuitive symbols (↑↑, ↑, →, ↓, ↓↓) to represent the different states of each pillar, allowing for quick interpretation at a glance.
The table layout is thoughtfully organized, with clear sections for the current and comparison timeframes. The Confluence Strength meter is prominently displayed, providing traders with an immediate sense of signal strength.
To enhance usability, I've added tooltips to various elements, offering additional information and explanations when users hover over different parts of the indicator.
How to Use This Indicator
The Six Pillars indicator is a versatile tool that can be used for various trading strategies. Here are some general usage guidelines and specific scenarios:
General Usage Guidelines:
Pay attention to the Confluence Strength meter. Higher values indicate stronger agreement among the pillars and potentially more reliable signals.
Use the multi-timeframe comparison to confirm signals across different time horizons.
Look for alignment between the current timeframe and comparison timeframe pillars for stronger signals.
One of the strengths of this indicator is it can let you know when markets are sideways – so in general you can know to avoid entering when the Confluence Strength is low, indicating disagreement among the pillars.

This is the unedited "Variable Volume Oscillator v1" released for free use. In the time since I've created it, I've realized it's something I'd like to share because I like it and hope you will too.
On Balance Volume +This is the standard On Balance Volume indicator, with the addition of four things:
10-SMA
20-SMA
100-SMA
Bollinger Bands
I have found intriguing and surprising results with this indicator.
I often see OBV bouncing off of the Moving Average lines, much like support and resistance points.
More interesting is the fact that it "obeys" the bollinger bands. Often times, if OBV sneaks outside of the Bollinger Band, it will almost always correct and get back in the next day.
I would recommend that you find your own method, and PLEASE post in the comments as to how you use this, but I'll tell you
How I use this indicator:
I usually use this on the daily view. I tend to wait until OBV has moved above the red 20-Day SMA before considering an entry. Below that doesn't show enough positive volume for me to identify enough interest in the security. Once it breaks the red SMA, I'll look at other indicators for confirmation. If price is above the Bollinger Band up above, and my OBV is above Bollinger Band, I will not buy. Also, if MACD is dropping, or if the Stochastic RSI is pegged out in overbought land, I won't buy that either.
If, however, I'm seeing good stuff from Stochastic RSI, RSI, MACD, and price BB, then I'll take a long entry at that OBV + 20SMA crossover.
If I'm in a long position and I see a few signals like the OBV is above the BB, and price is above BB, and StochRSI or RSI are in/near overbought land, I'll often sell that day, expecting a pullback on price.
I really like this one, it's been quite helpful in my trading. This is my first venture into using Volume for trading, and it's been good so far.
Leave me a note in the comments to tell me how it goes and how you use this thing!

1 (or) 5-Minute Scalping Strategy - KGP1-Minute Scalping Strategy - KGP
Overview: This indicator is designed for short-term traders who engage in 1 (or) 5-minute scalping. It combines several technical analysis tools to provide buy and sell signals, helping traders make informed decisions quickly.
Key Features:
VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price):
Purpose: VWAP provides the average price a security has traded at throughout the day, based on both volume and price.
Usage: Helps identify the overall trend and potential entry points. When the price is above VWAP, it indicates a bullish trend; when below, it indicates a bearish trend.
RSI (Relative Strength Index):
Purpose: RSI measures the speed and change of price movements, indicating overbought or oversold conditions.
Usage: The RSI values between 30 and 70 are used to filter trades. A value above 70 indicates overbought conditions, while below 30 indicates oversold conditions.
Custom OBV (On Balance Volume):
Purpose: OBV uses volume flow to predict changes in stock price.
Usage: Helps confirm the strength of a trend. Increasing OBV indicates accumulation (buying pressure), while decreasing OBV indicates distribution (selling pressure).
Multi-Timeframe Analysis:
Purpose: Confirms signals by analyzing RSI on a higher timeframe (5-minute chart).
Usage: Ensures that signals on the 1-minute chart align with the broader trend on the 5-minute chart, reducing false signals.
Signals:
Buy Signal:
Triggered when the price crosses above the VWAP, and the RSI is between 50 and 70 on both the 1-minute and 5-minute charts.
Visual Cue: A green “BUY” label appears below the bar.'

On Balance Volume WaveIntroducing an Enhanced Version of the Classic OBV Indicator
The On-Balance Volume (OBV) indicator is a well-known tool among traders, celebrated for its ability to track momentum by using volume flow to predict changes in stock price. For an overview of the original OBV indicator, please visit: www.tradingview.com .
What Makes This Version Different?
This enhanced version of the OBV indicator incorporates advanced signal processing techniques to bring new depth to market analysis. Here's what sets it apart:
Standard Deviation Bands and EMAs: These additions to the OBV offer a visual representation of significant market movements—highlighting major pumps and dumps, as well as identifying potential support and resistance levels.
Color-Coded Insights: The standard deviation bands utilize color coding based on signal processing principles. This feature becomes increasingly useful the more you zoom out, making it easier to observe and interpret market waves.
Market Maker Activity: By examining fluctuations within the standard deviation bands, traders can gauge when Market Makers are actively maneuvering to establish their long and short positions, often at the expense of retail traders.
EMA Support and Resistance: The embedded Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) serve as dynamic support and resistance levels. Analyzing these can help traders determine the continuing strength of a market move, whether bullish or bearish.
Visual Guide to the Basics

And in addition to all the above one can detect relevant W and M structures way easier with this indicator ;)
Stock Tech Bot One ViewTechnical indicators are not limited. Hence, here is another indicator with the combination of OBV, RSI, and MACD along with support, and resistance that follows the price while honoring the moving average of 200, 90 & 50.
The default lookback period of this indicator is 21 though it is changeable as per the user's desire.
The highest high and lowest low for the last 21 days lookback period proven to be the perfect Support & Resistance as the price of particular stock values are decided by market psychology. The support and resistance lines are very important to understand the market psychology which is very well proven with price action patterns and the lines are drawn based on,
Lower Extreme = 0.1 (Changeable)
Maximum Range = 21 days highest high - 21 days lowest low.
Support Line = 21 days lowest low + (Maximum Range * Lower Extreme)
Resistance Line = 21 days highest high - (Maximum Range * Lower Extreme)
RSI - Relative strength indicator is very famous to find the market momentum within the range of 0 - 100. Though the lookback period is changeable, the 14 days lookback period is the perfect match as the momentum of market movement for the last 3 weeks will always assist to identify the market regime. Here the momentum is just to highlight the indication (green up arrow under the candle for long and red down arrow above the candle for short) of market movement though it is not very important to consider if the price of the stock respect the support & resistance lines along with volume indicator (* = violet color).
OBV - Momentum:
The on-balance volume is always going indicator on any kind of tickers, which helps to identify the buying interest. Now, applying momentum on OBV with the positive movement for at least two consecutive days gives perfect confirmation for entry. A combination of the price along with this momentum(OBV) in the chart will help us to know the whipsaw in the price.
The Symbol "*" on top of each bar shows the market interest in that particular stock. If your ticker is fundamentally strong then you can see this "*" even when the market falls.
MACD:
One of the favorites and simple indicators widely used, where the thump of the rule is not to change the length even if it is allowed. It's OK to believe blindly in certain indicator and consider it while trading. That's why the indicator changes the bar color by following the MACD histogram.
Volume:
It may be the OBV works based on the open price and close price along with volume movement, it is wise to have the volume that is plotted along with price movement that should help you to decide whether the market is greedy or fearful.
The symbol "-" on top of each bar tells you a lot and don't ignore it.
Moving Average:
Moving average is a very good trend indicator as everyone considers seeing along with the price in the chart which is not omitted while we gauge the price movement alone with volume in this indicator. The 200, 90 & 50 MA's are everyone's favorite, and the same is plotted on the chart.
As explained above, the combination of all four indicators with price movement will give us very good confidence to take entry.
Candlestick Pattern:
You should admire the techniques of the candlestick pattern as you navigate the chart from right to left. Though there are a lot of patterns that exist, it is easy to enable and disable to view the signal as the label.
Further, last but not least, the exit always depends on individual conviction and how often the individual watch the price movement, if your conviction is strong then follow the down arrow red indication. If not, then exit with a trailing stop that indicates the bar with orange color.
Happy investing
Note: It is just a combination of multiple indicators and patterns to get one holistic view. So, the credit goes to all wise developers who publically published.
+ Rate of ChangeNOTE!* If you were using my previous + Rate of Change (and OBV) indicator, I will not be updating that. OBV was moved to my + Breadth & Volume indicator.
This indicator here is basically and updated version of the old indicator, without OBV.
The Rate of Change, or RoC, is a momentum indicator that measures the percentage change in price between the current period and the price n periods ago.
It oscillates above and below a zeroline, basically showing positive or negative momentum.
I applied the OBV's calculation to it, but without the inclusion of volume (also added a lookback period) to see what would happen. I rather liked the result.
I call this the "Cumulative Rate of Change." I only recently realized that this is actually just the OBV without volume, however the OBV does not have a lookback period, and this indicator does.
Doing some more fiddling, I realized that removing both the signum and the volume from the calculation gets you basically a price chart, but calculated as the change in price over n periods. I'm leaving this in because maybe someone discovers they really like having a line chart with moving averages or some other indicator on it to leave their main chart indicator free (giving a more clear look at price action). Can't hurt, right?
Default lookback is set to 1, but play with longer settings (especially if using the traditional RoC, which is by default in TV set to 10, and is nigh on useless at 1--I like 13).
Default source is set to each candle close, but give ohlc4 a look. It smooths out the indicator a bit, and because it's an average of the open, high, low, and close it should give a better idea of what price in general is doing.
Moving averages, Bollinger Bands, Donchian Channels, candle coloring and alerts are my usual additions.
Below are some comparison images of the different indicators wrapped up in here.
Comparison of Cumulative Rate of Change with two different sources. Lookback set to 1.
Cumulative Rate of Change as a price chart, essentially.
And, lastly, the traditional Rate of Change indicator.
TA-Money Flow-Version4Updated for TV-Pine V4
This is the MACD of a stochastic OBV movement indicator and now the MACD of the Squeeze Momentum Indicator. It is good (right) to work with both price and volume...it is also good to utilize the most popular indicator ever in TV (Lazybear).
I've included highlighting based on price divergence, yellow is divergence of either OBV or SQZ, red is both divergence, and then I've also built in the "squeeze on - blue" highlighting to show follow through of divergence. It works great on any time frame, but you need to have volume data. Not sure where I originally got this (stoch-OBV, somewhere off Tradingview several years ago, thanks to the person who shared), Squeeze is Lazybear, links below.
Enjoy.
Version 4:
Updated OBV equation because TV-Pine V3 broke in V4
Included MACD of Squeeze for histogram
Included "squeeze on" highlighting

Stochastic On Balance Volume(not sure why the text in the image above is messed up; it looked good before publishing. The oscillators above are (from top to bottom) StochOBV, OBVOSC (LazyBear), OBV)
Applies the Stochastic Oscillator to OBV the same way StochRSI applies the Stochastic Oscillator to RSI.
Features:
- Bounded between 0 and 100, so it may be used for overbought/oversold alerts;
- Uses two lines for crossing signals similar to Stoch and StochRSI;
- Only considers recent OBV action, similar to how StochRSI only considers recent RSI action;
It can be used for simple signals, divergence, trend lines, and any other method you'd use StochRSI for.
The OBV calculation is from LazyBear's OBVOSC script here , so thank you for your script.
