Better MACD with clearer cross and histogram signalsSimple but much needed visual improvements to the default MACD script. First, every time the MACD and signal cross, a white cross is placed on he chart, which lets you quickly identify the crosses. Second, whenever the histogram goes from increasing to decreasing or from increasing to decreasing, a color change occurs. Colors can be customized under "Style" tab under settings.
RSI Swing SignalThis indicator is a tool designed to be used with Steven Hart's RSI Exhaustion strategy. For more information google TheTradingChannel or look him up on YouTube :)
The default RSI settings for this strategy are:
RSI Overbought: 80
RSI Oversold: 20
Length: 7
When the RSI gets above 80, the line will turn red and the script will begin looking for a specific type of engulfing candle to go short. The same is true when the RSI gets below 20, but the line will turn green and look for longs. It is best used as a back-testing aid, but it can also be used to send emails or SMS alerts whenever the conditions are met. It can also be used as an alternative colored RSI indicator by removing the signals in the settings menu and changing the RSI parameters to whatever you normally use. This can aid in RSI divergence and overbought/sold strategies.
Entries:
The bright green and bright red lines represent the first type of engulfing candle.
The dark green and red lines represent the second type of engulfing candle.
Some pairs perform best with only one of these entries, while others work fine with both.
This is a counter-trend or consolidation strategy, and is best used in combination with trend-continuation or trend-following strategies. As always, make sure you back-test it before you use it to trade as it works better on some pairs than others.
Rule Number 1 SignalsThis script takes the Rule #1 3 tools and plots them on the graph, to provide an additional level of indication for when to sell and when to buy.
HOWTO: Skip consecutive signalsThis code snippet is an answer to @IagoLemos getsatisfaction.com

It shows how to skip duplicating signals.

MMI SignalTrend trading strategies filtered by the Market Meanness Index.
This is a port of the experiment described at
www.financial-hacker.com
www.financial-hacker.com
www.financial-hacker.com
www.financial-hacker.com
The Market Meanness Index tells whether the market is currently moving in or out of a "trending" regime. It can this way prevent losses by false signals of trend indicators. It is a purely statistical algorithm and not based on volatility, trends, or cycles of the price curve.
The indicator measures the meanness of the market - its tendency to revert to the mean after pretending to start a trend. If that happens too often, all trend following systems will bite the dust.

Open Source
THE NITTY GRITTY
For starters, all values listed below can be changed in the settings. Length of time, as well as source, can be changed. For the Hidden EMA, this can be made visible by increasing its transparency.
ARROWS
The buy and sell signal arrows are based on price and MACD histogram.
The MACD settings are as follows: 10 day fast EMA , 20 day slow EMA , 5 day SMA signal smoothing. Instead of close price, we are using the average point of the day's high, low, and close.
For the arrows, current price and yesterday's price are using hl2 for high/low average.
A BUY arrow is created when:
Current Price IS GREATER THAN Previous Price _AND_ Current MACD Histogram IS GREATER THAN Previous MACD Histogram.
Important Note! Because the MACD Histogram repaints, the buy arrows may appear, then disappear later in the day, if the MACD changes. Check on the changelog to see if I've fixed it by the time you're reading this. (TradingView doesn't let you edit the description after it's been posted)
A SELL arrow is created when:
Current Price IS LESS THAN Previous Price _AND_ Current MACD Histogram IS LESS THAN Yesterday's MACD Histogram _AND_ Close Price is below _EITHER_ the Hidden EMA (default set to 4) _OR_ the Visible SMA (Default set to 10, which is the black line).
The hidden EMA can be made visible by increasing it's transparency in the Style tab.
Including the requirement to only sell if the standard conditions are met, PLUS being below one of those moving average lines, helps to prevent false sell arrows and repainting.
TACK MARKS
The Red Tack is the threshold, or barrier, for the next arrow. It will not move. It is based on previous High/Low/Close Price + MACD.
The Blue Tack is the current point in space for our average Price and MACD Delta Values. It will move throughout the day (or hour or minute depending on your resolution). The Blue Tack will give you an indication of how close or how far from the reversal threshold (Red Tack) the ticker is at that point.
While the Blue Tack is ABOVE Red, the most recent signal arrow will be a buy, and we are in a buy/hold period.
While the Blue Tack is BELOW Red, the most recent signal arrow will be a sell, and we are in a sell/wait period.
If the Blue Tack crosses above or below Red, you'll get the next arrow.
MOVING AVERAGE LINES
There are three moving average lines in this indicator.
The first is black, and is by default a 10-Day Simple Moving Average Line.
This black line is a good safeguard against selling too early. This is a good support line and that's how I use it.
The second is invisible, but can be made visible in the Styling, and is by default a 4-Day Exponential Moving Average Line
The third is the blue 20-Day Bollinger Band line.
BOLLINGER BANDS
The Bollinger Bands are unmodified and are just a background indicator for your use. If you prefer not to see the Bollinger Bands , change their transparency to 0% to hide them. I've cleaned up the Bollinger Bands to make the indicator as a whole- easier on the eyes.
Please leave feedback on how the script works for you, if you run into problems, if you have any changes you'd like to see, etc.
Wolfe Waves Signals [NXT2017] by the rules of Bill WolfeScript to find entries of Wolfe Wave Point 5 for Pinescript in Tradingview
Dear followers,
in my search for a good Wolfe Wave screener I havn't success. This is why I wrote my own script for find good Wolfe Waves entries for Pinescript in Tradingview.
The script calculate the relationsship between wave 4 (point 4 to point 5) and wave 3 (point 3 and point 4) in combination with the relationsship of wave 3 and wave 2 (point 2 to point 3). The first relationship should like the rules be 127.2 % and the second relationship 68.2% - but not every pattern join in this rule. This is why I give a little room to move around this values.
In one hand the higher the green peak, the longer and stronger the wave for buysetup and on the other hand the lower the red Peak, the longer and stronger the wave for sellsetup.
My skills didn't sufficient for show the lines of Wolfe Waves. If you have a modified version with lines with EPA and ETA Points, so please be so Kind to inform me.
Of course, not every signal is a good signal, so look to the rules of Bill Wolfe and on a perfect pattern be active.
At least I wish everyone a good tradingtime.

Pivots High/Low 3bar No Period w/ Signals -Tom1traderwww.tradingview.com
This price action indicator calculated on the relationship of 3 adjacent bars/candles adds an extra dimension to my indicator mix and with
a different perspective can help confirm or question an opinion formed by other indications (volume related, momentum, the chart itself and etc.).
Further, I have traded with it a bit now and like it. So much for comfort - I have seen no clear evidence that the movement of the next bar is paying any
attention to indicators, lines or patterns on charts. They are all based on the same historical data whether that data is run through an indicator algorithm
or used to draw (chart style) on a chart. But they make me feel better about my trades and I prefer them to a coin flip. :-)
Pivot High Definition - (Pivot Low is reversed): A three-bar pivot high represents resistance and is formed when sellers turn price from up to down. It is seen where a price bar with a lower high closes below the previous bar's low, where the previous bar's high is higher than the bar that preceded it.

I see some n period high/low indicators named pivots. This indicator has no period and is based on the relationship of 3 bars usually referred to as Pivots High Low.
Also no relationship to daily calculated "Pivot Points". As such this is a PRICE ACTION indicator. It works the same on ALL TIME FRAMES.
These pivots sometimes do not occur very often and usually are not at tops or bottoms.
This is why I used a combination of most recent PHs and PLs along with
the price to derive the signal.

MAGNUS® CyclesThis indicator will help you if you struggle making any profit in bitcoin.
It generates very few signals with very nice profit potential ( around 100% this year ! ).
Perfect tool for longterm swing traders and new traders that need help figuring out the midterm trend.
Use it with these parameters only:
weekly: 13, 5, 12
daily: 92, 21, 96
MAGNUS™A CHANGE of background color indicates a trade opportunity :
Cyan background = BUY
Purple background = SELL
The bullish signals seem to be better than the bearish ones.
Based on the "Willy" indicator.
Don't change the parameters unless you fully understand the consequences.
Use with brains and caution :)
Lazy Long Term SignalsThis little indicator displays the ratio between the series close and the (default 45) exponential moving average.
The idea is to consider buying when the signal is above 1 and sell, or short if aggressive, when the signal crosses below 1. It strikes me as useful when used in conjunction with the MACD and UCSgears' Linear Regression Slope indicator.
Using such a simple strategy as I outlined above is probably only useful (if it even works) and beneficial in long term or tax deferred accounts like 401Ks, IRAs, ROTH IRAs, etc. Otherwise the taxation would probably destroy the appreciation. Who wants that?
