Backtest EngineThis is a simple backtest engine for your trading strategies. The idea behind this script is to make testing new strategies as easy as possible. Parameters such as take profit/stop loss and time period are built into the script and are customisable by the user via the settings interface. The only coding is to set the entry and exit conditions. Users need not touch any code beyond line 30.
For this post, I have used a 50/200 SMA crossover to demonstrate the ease of use for this script.
The features of this script include:
Backtest period start
Number of days until backtest period end
Take profit and stop loss % (via settings)
Programmable long and short entry/exit
Anti duplicate system (for entry conditions that are continuously satisfied, the engine will only make 1 trade until the is exit condition is satisfied).
DISCLAIMER: The strategy in this post is only a placeholder. The TP/SL levels are set to showcase the functionality of the engine and are in no means optimal settings.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any questions about the engine and happy coding!
The Namib FlowThis is an alert/notification system consisting of the building on the following existing indicators:
Hull Suite by InSilico
Follow Line Indicator by Dreadblitz
QQE MOD by Mihkel00
It is not my strategy - it is based on a video I watched.
It will give and alert/notification once the following conditions are aligned:
Bullish Alert
Hull Suite Line Fully Green
Follow Line Indicator Blue
QQE MOD Green
First Bullish Candle after the three indicators hit the conditions as described above.
Bearish Alert
Hull Suite Line Fully Red
Follow Line Indicator Red
QQE MOD Red
First Bearish Candle after the three indicators hit the conditions as described above.
Notes:
This alert system only works on the first three candles (bullish or bearish after the Hull Suite band color change) otherwise there would be too many candles.
The buy is at the close of the candle.
The SL is at the follow line indicator.
The TP is at a RRR of 1:2.
Comments appreciated.
"Golden buy" for cryptofutures (alerts for 3 commas/finandy)This script is a blend of open source cipher B indicator by VuManChu and Hammers & Stars strategy made by ZenAndTheArtOfTrading.
"Golden buy" is based on divergencies and was considered as one of the top strategies for cryptotrading. So I used it for entrance point in this script.
You can turn on opening short positions which are based on divergencies as well.
SL/TP, based on ATR 14, can be tuned, so does Risk/reward ratio.
VuManChu's parameters can be tuned too, but honestly, I don't know how it can help you.
And, finally, you can fully automate your trading with alerts templates presented in the script. (strategy.entry (...//comments= ) - for 3commas and 'alert' function under if conditions for finandy)
Thank you for your attention.
Volume Adaptive Bollinger Bands (MZ VABB)This indicator is a functional enhancement to John Bollinger's Bollinger Bands. I've used Volume to adapt dynamic length which is used in basis (middle line) of Bollinger Bands and Simple Moving Average is replaced with Adaptive Ehlers Deviation Scaled Moving Average ( AEDSMA ).
BOLLINGER BANDS BASIC USAGE AND LIMITATIONS
Bollinger bands are popular among traders because of their simple way to detect volatility in market and redefine support and resistance accordingly. These are some basic usages of original Bollinger Bands:
Most commonly Bollinger Band works on 20 period Simple Moving Average as Basis / Middle Line and standard deviation of 2 for volatility detection.
Upper and lower bands can act as support and resistance which accordingly update with standard deviation of same period as of Simple Moving Average.
As upper and lower bands act as volatility measure which benefits in Squeeze detection and breakout trading.
Among all the usages there are some limitations as follows:
Original Bollinger Bands use 20 period Simple Moving Average as Basis which itself restricted to some number of data pints and if market moves in one direction or simply goes sideways for long time; candles can stay on either bands for long time. This gives benefit for staying in directional trade but will completely nullify the use of both bands as support and resistance.
Above point simply be explained as markets can stay overbought / oversold for long time and one way to make Bollinger Bands more useful is to simply use higher periods in SMA but as we know with higher periods SMA becomes more laggy and less adaptive.
Most traders use BBs alongside some other Volume Oscillator for example "On Balance Volume" but that does solve BBs limitations issue that it should be more adaptive to detect volatility in market.
VOLUME ADAPTIVE BOLLINGER BAND WORKING PRINCIPLE
Best way to make original Bollinger band more adaptive was to just use dynamic length instead on constant 20 period. This dynamic length had to be based on some other powerful parameter which can't be volatility as BB itself is a volatility indicator and adapting its length based volatility would have been superimposing volatility on Bollinger bands giving unrealistic results.
For adaptive length, I tried using Volume and for this purpose I used my Relative Volume Strength Index " RVSI " indicator. RVSI is the best way to detect if Volume is going for a breakout or not and based on that indication length of Bollinger Band Basis Moving Average changes.
RVSI breaking above provided value would indicate Volume breakout and hence dynamic length would accordingly make Bollinger band basis moving average more over fitted and similarly standard deviation of achieved dynamic length would give better bands for support and resistance. Similar case would happen if Volume goes down and dynamic length becomes more underfit.
According to my back testing studies I found that Simple Moving Average wasn't the best choice for dynamic length usage in Bollinger Band Basis. So, I used Adaptive Ehlers Deviation Scaled Moving Average ( AEDSMA ) which is more adaptive and already modified to adapt with RVSI.
SLOPE USAGE FOR TREND STRENGTH DETCTION
Volume Adaptive Bollinger Bands are more reactive to market trends so, I used slope for trend strength detection.
If slope of Volume Adaptive Bollinger Band Basis (i.e. AEDSMA ), Upper and Lower Bands is supporting a trend at same time then script will provide signal in that direction. That signal can also use Volume as confirmation if Bollinger Bands trend direction is supported by Volume or not.
DYNAMIC COLORS AND TREND CORRELATION
I’ve used dynamic coloring in Basis ( AEDSMA ) to identify trends with more detail which are as follows:
Lime Color: Slope supported Strong Uptrend also supported by Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Fuchsia Color: Weak uptrend only supported by Slope or whatever you’ve selected.
Red Color: Slope supported Strong Downtrend also supported by Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Grey Color: Weak Downtrend only supported by Slope or whatever you’ve selected.
Yellow Color: Possible reversal indication by Slope if enabled. Market is either sideways, consolidating or showing choppiness during that period.
SIGNALS
Green Circle: Market good for long with support of Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Red Circle: Market good to short with support from Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Flag: Market either touched upper or lower band and can act as good TP and warning for reversal.
FIBONACCI BANDS
I’ve included Fibonacci multiple bands which would act as good support/resistance zones. For example, 0.618 Fib level act as good local support and resistance in both upper and lower zones. Fibonacci values can be modified but should be lower than 1.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
I’ve set default Minimum length to 50 and Maximum length to 100 which I’ve found works best for almost all timeframes but you can change this delta to adapt your timeframe accordingly with more precision.
Dynamic length adoption is enabled based on Volume only but volatility can be selected which is already explained above.
Trend signals are enabled based on Slope and Volume but Volatility can be enabled for more precise confirmations.
In “ RVSI ” settings "Klinger Volume Oscillator" is set to default but others work good too especially Volume Zone Oscillator. For more details about Volume Breakout you can check “MZ RVSI Indicator".
ATR breakout is set to be positive if period 14 exceeds period 46 but can be changed if more adaption with volatility is required.
EDSMA super smoother filter length is set to 20 which can be increased to 50 or more for better smoothing but this will also change slope results accordingly.
EDSMA super smoother filter poles are set to 2 because found better results with 2 instead of 3.
FURTHER ENHANCEMENTS
So far, I've achieved better results with "Klinger Volume Oscillator" in RVSI but TFS Volume Oscillator and On Balance Volume can be used which would change dynamic length differently. It doesn't mean that results would be wrong with some oscillator and precise with others but every oscillator works in its specific way for and RVSI just detect strength of Volume based on provided oscillator.
The Witcher [30MIN] - AlertsHello,

The core of this strategy is trend strenght ( MONEY FLOW INDKES)
Strategy can only open position on strong price movment, to avoid wrong decision
Settings are set for highest profitable trades %
Bot using 10 indicators to trigger basic condtition for long and short :
1) ADX - Is one of the most powerful and accurate trend indicators. ADX measures how strong a trend is, and can give valuable information on whether there is a potential trading opportunity.
2) RSI - value helps strategy to stop trade in right time. When RSI is overbought strategy don't open new longs , also when RSI is oversold strategy don't open new shorts
3) TREND STRENGHT
4) JURIK MOVING AVERAGE - The Jurik Moving Average indicator is one of the surest ways to smoothen price curves within a minimum time lag. The indicator offers currency traders one of the best price filters during strong price moves. In this time, when bitcoin price action is so strong, this indicator is necessary.
5) SAR - The parabolic SAR is a technical indicator used to determine the price direction of an asset, as well as draw attention to when the price direction is changing. SAR supporting bot, to not open new trades when the trends are slowly changing
6) TREND INDICATOR
7) MOMENTUM - Indicator istechnical analysis tool used to determine the strength or weakness of a stock's price. Momentum measures the rate of the rise or fall of stock prices. Common momentum indicators include the relative strength index ( RSI ) and moving average convergence divergence ( MACD ).
8) OBV - On-balance volume (OBV) is a technical trading momentum indicator that uses volume flow to predict changes in stock price.
9) FAST MA - like previous ones this is for better view of trends, and correctly define the trends, also Speed_MA are using for predict the future price action.
10) RANGE FILTER - this indicator is for the better view of trends, define trends, that is important for every bull/bear traps which helps a lot becouse of the very variable trends.
I decided to add momentum indicator to strategy, to make a fast-reacting decision on lower timeframes at extremly price volatility
Also bot got additional EMA scalping option, which increase profit net but, in some situation, that could be risky.
For max security I recommend to turn off this option.
Commision are set at standard binancefutures VIP-0 = 0.04%
After converting strategy into study version, bot is ready for automation.
All the ploting color depends of adx value.

DCA RSI Add funds exit simulatorThis script helps with planning on how to exit DCA deals that are in the negative.
The following deal information is required
- Current average position price
- Funds invested
- Required take profit
Additional indicator settings are
- The date/time on which to start the simulator
- Minimum deviation % to start adding funds
- Expected bounceback from when funds are added
The RSI trigger
Adding funds is triggered when the selected RSI settings yield a value that is at or beyond the selected threshold.
How it works
The amount of funds needed are calculated based on the supplied settings, such that the new average price matches the expected bounceback.
It will also show if the exit strategy has failed to hit the TP (this happens when the RSI threshold is hit again)
Adaptive Ehlers Deviation Scaled Moving Average (AEDSMA)AEDSMA INTRODUCTION
This indicator is a functional enhancement to “Ehlers Deviation Scaled Moving Average (EDSMA / DSMA)”. I’ve used Volume Breakout and Volatility for dynamic length adaption and further Slope too for trend evaluation.
EDSMA was originally developed by John F. Ehlers (Stocks & Commodities V. 36:8: The Deviation-Scaled Moving Average).
IDEA PLACEMENT
I’ve traded almost every kind of market with different volatility conditions using Moving Averages. It was too much of a hassle to select and use different MA length depending upon market trend. So, the journey started with adapting Moving Averages with another parameter and that’s how “MZ SAMA ” came into being where Slope was used to adapt Adaptive Moving Average with trend change. The problem was still pretty much the same as SAMA might not be effective on every market condition. Hence, I worked on Volume to adapt Moving Averages accordingly. I cane up with “MZ RVSI ” which I used in “MZ DVAMA ” to adapt dynamic length in Adaptive Moving Average and also used “MZ RVSI " alongside Slope as confirmation of trend changes.
Meanwhile, I started using DVAMA methodology on different types on Moving Averages that allow dynamic length for example Hull Moving Average, Linear Regression Curve, SMA, WMA, TMA and many more. All of my tested Mas showed too much flexibility because of volume based Adaptive length.
I came across a script of “Adaptive Hull Moving Average” which pretty much used the similar methodology as DVAMA but when I looked into its depth, its volume oscillator wasn’t working at all and only volatility based dynamic length was used. It was an interesting idea so, I decided to use Volume and Volatility alongside for better results but was nearly impossible to achieve what I wanted using only Hull Moving Average.
I had been using EDSMA in “MA MTF Cross Strategy” and “MZ SRSI Strategy V1.0” previously. It was the perfect choice when comparing to usage of slope on it. DSMA works perfectly as support and resistance as its Deviation Scaled. So, I tried using it to adapt dynamic length based on Volume and Volatility and I wasn’t disappointed. It worked like a charm when I adapted dynamic length between 50 and 255.
DYNAMIC LENGTH BENEFITS
Dynamic length adaption methodology works in a way of adapting Relatively Lower Length leading toward overfitting if trend is supported by Volume and Volatility . Similarly, adapting Relatively Higher Length leading toward underfitting if trend isn’t supported by Volume and Volatility .
Dynamic length adaption makes Moving Average to work better for both Bull and Bear-runs avoiding almost every fake break-in and breakouts. Hence, adaptive MA becomes more reliable for breakout trading.
MA would be more useful as it would adapt almost every chart based on its Volume and Volatility data.
DYNAMIC COLORS AND TREND CORRELATION
I’ve used dynamic coloring to identify trends with more detail which are as follows:
Lime Color: Strong Uptrend supported by Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Fuchsia Color: Weak uptrend only supported by Slope or whatever you’ve selected.
Red Color: Strong Downtrend supported by Volume and Volatility or whatever you’ve chosen from both of them.
Yellow Cross: Market either touched top or bottom ATR band and can act as good TP or SL.
EDSMA EVELOPE/BANDS: I’ve included ATR based bands to the Adaptive EDSMA which act as good support/resistance despite from main Adaptive EDSMA Curve.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
I’ve set default Minimum length to 50 and Maximum length to 255 which I’ve found works best for almost all timeframes but you can change this delta to adapt your timeframe accordingly with more precision.
Dynamic length adoption is enabled based on both Volume and Volatility but only one or none of them can also be selected.
Trend signals are enabled based on Slope and Volume but Volatility can be enabled for more precise confirmations.
In “ RVSI ” settings TFS Volume Oscillator is set to default but others work good too especially Volume Zone Oscillator. For more details about Volume Breakout you can check “MZ RVSI Indicator".

EDSMA super smoother filter length is set to 20 which can be increased to 50 or more for better smoothing but this will also change slope results accordingly.
EDSMA super smoother filter poles are set to 2 because found better results with 2 instead of 3.
FURTHER ENHANCEMENTS
So far, I’ve seen better results with Volume Breakout and Volatility but other parameters such as Linear Slope of Particular MA, MACD, “MZ SRSI ”, a Conditional Uptrend MA or simply KDJ can also be used for dynamic length adaption.
I haven't yet gotten used to pine script arrays so, defining and using conditional operators is pretty much lazy programming for me. Would be great redefining everything through truth matrix instead of using if-else conditions.

Joint Conditions Strategy Suite + TradingConnector alerts bot"Please give us combined alerts with the possibility of having several conditions in place to trigger the alert." - was the top voted request from users under one of the recent blogposts by TradingView.
Ask and you shall receive ;)
TradingView is a great platform, with unmatched set of functionalities, yet this particular combo of features indeed seems not to be in place. Fortunately, TradingView is also very open platform, thanks to PineScript coding language, which enables developing combos like the requried one and plenty of other magic.
I have already published numerous "educational" scripts, showing how to code indicators and alerts with PineScript, but... this is not one of them. This one is for real. READY FOR USE on real markets, also by the non-coding traders. Just take my script, set parameters with dropdowns, backtest the strategy, fire the alerts and execute them.
HOW TO USE IT
In "Settings" popup I tried to mimic the CreateAlert popup dropdowns for selecting logic. Let's say you want to enter Long position at Stochastic KxD crossover. In first line of Long Entry conditions set "StochK" + "Crossing Up" + "StochD". Last field doesn't matter because in 3rd dropdown something else than "value" was selected. In second line you could set "maB" + "Greater Than" + "maC" to filter out those entries which are in direction of the uptrend. And yeah, add ADX>25 to make sure the market is actually moving: "ADX" + "Greater Than" + "value" + "25". All condition lines must be TRUE (or skipped) for the entry to be triggered. Toghether with an alert.
The same for Short entries. Combinations are limitless.
INDICATORS AND MTF (MULTI-TIMEFRAME)
In those dropdowns you can select candle values like open/close/high/low/ohlc4, but also some most popular indicators, which I have pre-built into this script: RSI, various Moving Averages, ADX-DMI, Stochastic and Bollinger Bands for start. You can configure parameters of those indicators also in "Settings" popup, in "Indicator Definitions" section. What's important, you can use any of these indicators from higher timeframe, setting MTF multiplier. So if you applied this indicator to 1h chart, but want to use rsi(close,14) from 4h chart, set MTF to 4. If you want to use current timeframe indicators, keep MTF at 1, which is a default setting here.
Note for coders: to keep focus of this script on joining conditions, entire logic for those indicators has been moved to external library, also open source. I encourage you to dig into the code and see how it's done. I love the addition of libraries concept in PineScript.
CUSTOM INDICATOR
Following the "openness" spirit of my master - which is TradingView itself - my work is also open, in 2 ways:
1. This script is open source. So you can grab it, modify or add any functionalities you want. I cannot and don't want to stop you from doing that. I'm asking for only one favor - please mention this source script in your credits.
2. You can import the plot (series) from any other indicator on TradingView. In Settings popup of my script, scroll down to "Indicator Definitions" section, and select the series of your choice in the first dropdown. Now it is ready to use in conditions dropdowns on top of the Settings popup.
Let me give you an example of that last scenario. Take another script of mine, "Pivot Points on SR lines DEMO". You can find it in "Indicators & Strategies" library or here: (). Attach it to your chart. Now come back to THIS script, open Settings popup and in "Custom Indicator aka Imported Source" select "Pivot Points on SR lines: ...". The way it works - it detects if a pivot point happened on Support/Resistance line from the past and returns 1 for PivotLow and -1 for Pivot High. Now in first Long Entry condition set: "custom indicator" + "Greater Than" + "value" + "0" and long entries will be marked on every pivot low noticed on Support/Resistance line.
ALERTS
Last but not least - the alerts. This script produces alerts on the entries calculated by strategy logic, as marked on the chart by the backtester. Moreover, syntax of those alerts is already prepared and fully compatible with TradingConnector - alerts executing tool (bot), if you want to auto-execute those trades. Apart from installing the tool, you need to set
up the alerts in TradingView, here is how:
open CreateAlert popup
in first dropdown select "Joint Conditions Strategy Template"
in second dropdown select "alert() function calls only"
And that's all. You only need to set one alert for the whole script, not one for Longs and one for Shorts as it was in the past. Also, you don't need to setup closing alerts, because stop-loss/take-profit/trailing-stop information is embedded in the entry alert so your broker receives it as early as possible. Alerts sent will look like this: "long sl=40 tp=80", which is exactly what TradingConnector expects.
Phew, that's all folks. If you think I should add something to this template (maybe other indicators?) please let me know in comments or via DM. Happy trading!
P.S. Pyramiding is not supported in this script.
Disclaimer : I'm not saying above combination of conditions will make you money. Actually none of this can be considered financial advice. It is only a software tool. Use it wisely, be aware of the risk and do your own research!
PYRAMIDING BTCUSDTPERP1H [ALERTS VERSION]BINANCE:BTCUSDTPERP
Hello
This my upgraded (ALERTs) version of my previous bots, uses diffrent indicators
WARING
THIS STRATEGY WORKS ONLY ON BTCUSDTPERP ON BINANCE 60MIN (like my previous ones) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- it depends on specyfic volume and wick based on binance
Soo, I was tried to make a bot with more trades to make more real results.
Trends are change, and the problem with configuration on bots is that, while we searching the best cofigurations , this was best configuration in the past,
to prepare bot for the futures moves , we have to make as much trades as possible.
This bot is pure definition of pyramiding, uses 2 entries, and when all the conditions are true, then will open a trades
The way it works is simple, bot use 6 difrent indicators to open longs/shorts and for the define trend
This specific configuration works the best at
TP: 1.4%
SL: 9%
This is bot only for lev 1x
Dont try it for bigger leverage, becouse when sl hits, which sometimes happend, the lost will be huge
Why sl is so big?
Bot is programed to replace sl with other entries
for example
close longs and open shorts
normal lose is around 3-5% (while trend is changed), so sl will only destroys results
this bot using 6 difrent indicators:
ADX
RSI
VOLUME
RANGE FILTER
MA 5-10-30
MACD by KivancOzbilgic
ADX - makes a solid view to trend without any scam wick :
Long only on green bars
Shorts only on red bars
That's helps my strategy to define a right trend
there is also a orange option for unidentified trends
RSI - value helps strategy to stop trade in right time
When RSI is overbought strategy don't open new longs
also when RSI is oversold strategy don't open new shorts
Volume - volume is the most important indicator for the strategy,
to avoid open trades on flat chart, new trades are open after a strong volume
wicks
RANGE FILTER- this indicator is for the better view of trends, define trends
MA 5-10-30 - like previous ones this is for better view of trends, and correctly define the trends
MACD by KivancOzbilgic - this indicator is based of MACD RELOADED by Kivanc Ozbilgic
Also like previous ones, indicator should help defined correct trends
Enjoy ;)

Target Profit(TP) :
TP1 : 1x SL, Sell 50% then move SL to 60EMA when TP1 hits

Hull MA TimeFrame CrossOverHello traders,
Although this strategy is configured on BTCUSDT , with a changing of settings, it can be used on any trading instrument.
Here it is seen, on the 2 hour chart. With Trading Fees included in result (adjust to suit your exchange fees).
The candle crossover is set to Daily timeframe.
That means that the Candle crossover is going to see if todays price is higher than yesterdays price.
If user sets this to 4 hour timeframe, the candle crossover would be when price is higher than the the price 4 hours ago...
The rest is simple, a moving average to detect direction, and an ATR StopLoss (if activated).
There is StopLoss and Take Profit settings which work by percentage.
The periods of the moving average and the ATR can be adjusted, as can the TP % and SL %.
The price is taken from the CLOSE or the OPEN or OHLC4 etc... which can be changed in the settings. OPEN is recommended to avoid repainting.
The moving average also has selectable types (ALMA,SMA,EMA,WMA,HMA)
So if the Price is above the Moving average, and the moving average is above the alternate timeframe value, then a buy is activated
if the Price is below the Moving average, and the moving average is below the alternate timeframe value, then a sell is activated
if OPEN is selected as Price source, then the alternate timeframe value would be the OPEN of the alternate timeframes candle.
the values are all plotted on chart so user can see what is happening when what crosses over what, and then what changes when settings are adjusted.
Have FuN!
if this strategy brings you the epik win......

Hosoda N Wave and TPs {fmz}This script allows you to establish in a graphic and interactive way which are the N, NT, V and E targets for a Hosoda N wave.
Apply the indicator to the chart.
The interactive tool of Pine script version 5 will ask you to identify three points of "minimum-maximum-higher minimum" that form a bullish N wave of Hosoda (refer to the specific documentation for Hosoda N wave), or on the contrary three points "maximum-minimum-lower maximum" for a bearish N wave.
Once drawn, the price points can be moved.
When changing the market instrument, the indicator must be removed because it remains linked to the prices where it was first drawn.

UT Bot v5This is an update by request, on someone elses strategy! well more of an edit, but also update from pine v4 to pine v5.
//CREDITS to HPotter for the orginal code. The guy trying to sell this as his own is a scammer lol.
//Edited and converted to @version=5 by SeaSide420 for Paperina
The UT Bot v5 is Movinging average (the MA) vs ATR (the ATR is in the form intended for use as trailing stop loss (ATR_TSL))
Entry logic:
buy = the MA > ATR_TSL and Price > ATR_TSL
sell = the MA < ATR_TSL and Price < ATR_TSL
The Moving average type can be changed in the settings:
options = "SMA", "EMA", "WMA", "HMA"]
the edits i made were:
convert to v5
Add TP and SL
Add Buy only or Sell only option
Add MA type option
Add price source option

I share this indicator turned into a strategy, (this is one of my first strategies so some inputs are missing and others are somewhat archaic)
this cog is formed by three signals which can be reduced by dividing by phi
Available settings:
Length setting for signal
Trigger parameter setting for strategy
stoploss settings
trailing stop settings
tp settings
I hope it fuels your curiosity
The Center of Gravity (COG) indicator is a technical indicator developed by John Ehlers in 2002, used to identify potential turning points in the price as early as possible. In fact, the creator John Ehlers claims zero lag to the price, and the smoothing effect of the indicator helps to spot turning points clearly and without distractions.
MacD Short and/or Long with Bi-Directional TP and SL This tool allows you to test any variable value for MacD and Signal for going Long or Short with each market direction having customizable values for stop loss and take profit.
For example, sometimes the MacD and Signal values are better with different lengths between Short and Long. You can use this tool to see them overlaid and determine the best settings for going one direction or the other.
This script was preset for use with XBTUSD on the 4 hour time frame. Another example with this in mind, is take profits and stop losses might not work in the Long market direction but going Short does! Without this tool that would be hard to see since typically stop loss and take profit is applied to both directions. I found with this tool that a 20% take profit seems to be a good sweet spot for going short with this strategy.
You can customize which MacD histogram you see by going to the style section and turning off the Short or Long parameters so you can see only 1 histogram at a time if you wish.

Supertrend + Stoch Strategy Multi-pair Signal AlarmBITSTAMP:BTCUSD
An entry alarm on Supertrend Stoch Strategy . It can monitor 10 trading pairs in one alarm.
Use this script on any trading pair and deploy the alarm. The alert comment shows the pair name, direction, entry point, sl/tp, and percentage of your position you should cost.
I currently use it as a signal for my grid trading.
INDIGO - Cloud System ©INDIGO Cloud System ©
This script shows the monthly dip and peak zones and the daily highs & lows.
The green zone is the dip zone. It's the place to enter a long position if you think there is or will be a reversal.
The red zone is the peak zone. It's the place to enter a short position if you think there is or will be a reversal.
The script uses the INDIGO Cloud System ©, the Ultimate RSI and the Market Direction Indicator to find an entry at the most optimal point in space and time.
The exit for the long trade is on the purple line and the exit for the short trade is on the blue line.
It also has an RSI exit to minimize the risk of a sudden reversal in the wrong direction while in trade.
You can set TP and SL to see the effects of it on the chart. Be aware that these change a lot of trades so use it wisely.
The labels are connected to alerts to notify you of a possible entry or exit.
This script uses the Ultimate RSI by ChrisMoody, thanks for creating this Chris !
This script also uses the Market Direction Indicator by LazyBear, great script !
You can use the MD Filter to filter out some bad trades. It decreases losses but also some profits.
Experiment with the settings, each pairing needs different settings.
--> Use this script at your own risk. Do your own research, never invest money you're not willing to lose and never put your trust in one indicator !
To my best knowledge this script doesn't repaint. I never use the close and only use high/low when value can't be untrue again. If you find repainting in this script PLEASE let me know !
Feel free to contact me for questions or feedback.
Enjoy the script :)
TASC 2021.11 MADH Moving Average Difference, Hann█ OVERVIEW
Presented here is code for the "Moving Average Difference, Hann" indicator originally conceived by John Ehlers. The code is also published in the November 2021 issue of Trader's Tips by Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities (TASC) magazine.
█ CONCEPTS
By employing a Hann windowed finite impulse response filter (FIR), John Ehlers has enhanced the Moving Average Difference (MAD) to provide an oscillator with exceptional smoothness.
Of notable mention, the wave form of MADH resembles Ehlers' "Reverse EMA" Indicator, formerly revealed in the September 2017 issue of TASC. Many variations of the "Reverse EMA" were published in TradingView's Public Library.
█ FEATURES
Three values in the script's "Settings/Inputs" provide control over the oscillators behavior:
• The price source
• A "Short Length" with a default of 8, to manage the lower band edge of the oscillator
• The "Dominant Cycle", originally set at 27, which appears to be a placeholder for an adaptive control mechanism
Two coloring options are provided for the line's fill:
• "ZeroCross", the default, uses the line's position above/below the zero level. This is the mode used in the top version of MADH on this chart.
• "Momentum" uses the line's up/down state, as shown in the bottom version of the indicator on the chart.
█ NOTES
Calculations
The source price is used in two independent Hann windowed FIR filters having two different periods (lengths) of historical observation for calculation, one being a "Short Length" and the other termed "Dominant Cycle". These are then passed to a "rate of change" calculation and then returned by the reusable function. The secret sauce is that a "windowed Hann FIR filter" is superior tp a generic SMA filter, and that ultimately reveals Ehlers' clever enhancement. We'll have to wait and see what ingenuities Ehlers has next to unleash. Stay tuned...
The `madh()` function code was optimized for computational efficiency in Pine, differing visibly from Ehlers' original formula, but yielding the same results as Ehlers' version.
Background
This indicator has a sibling indicator discussed in the "The MAD Indicator, Enhanced" article by Ehlers. MADH is an evolutionary update from the prior MAD indicator code published in the October 2021 issue of TASC.
