5EMA_BB_ScalpingWhat?
In this forum we have earlier published a public scanner called 5EMA BollingerBand Nifty Stock Scanner , which is getting appreciated by the community. That works on top-40 stocks of NSE as a scanner.
Whereas this time, we have come up with the similar concept as a stand-alone indicator which can be applied for any chart, for any timeframe to reap the benifit of reversal trading.
How it works?
This is essentially a reversal/divergence trading strategy, based on a widely used strategy of Power-of-Stocks 5EMA.
To know the divergence from 5-EMA we just check if the high of the candle (on closing) is below the 5-EMA. Then we check if the closing is inside the Bollinger Band (BB). That's a Buy signal. SL: low of the candle, T: middle and higher BB.
Just opposite for selling. 5-EMA low should be above 5-EMA and closing should be inside BB (lesser than BB higher level). That's a Sell signal. SL: high of the candle, T: middle and lower BB.
Along with we compare the current bar's volume with the last-20 bar VWMA (volume weighted moving average) to determine if the volume is high or low.
Present bar's volume is compared with the previous bar's volume to know if it's rising or falling.
VWAP is also determined using `ta.vwap` built-in support of TradingView.
The Bolling Band width is also notified, along with whether it is rising or falling (comparing with previous candle).
What's special?
We love this reversal trading, as it offers many benifits over trend following strategies:
Risk to Reward (RR) is superior.
It _Does Hit_ stop losses, but the stop losses are tiny.
Means, althrough the Profit Factor looks Nahh , however due to superior RR, end of day it ended up in green.
When the day is sideways, it's difficult to trade in trending strategies. This sort of volatility, reversal strategies works better.
It's always tempting to go agaist the wind. Whole world is in Put/PE and you went opposite and enter a Call/CE. And turns out profitable! That's an amazing feeling, as a trader :)
How to trade using this?
* Put any chart
* Apply this screener from Indicators (shortcut to launch indicators is just type / in your keyboard).
* It will show you the Green up arrow when buy alert comes or red down arrow when sell comes. * Also on the top right it will show the latest signal with entry, SL and target.

FVG Premium [no1x]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator provides a comprehensive toolkit for identifying, visualizing, and tracking Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) across three distinct timeframes (current chart, a user-defined Medium Timeframe - MTF, and a user-defined High Timeframe - HTF). It is designed to offer traders enhanced insight into FVG dynamics through detailed state monitoring (formation, partial fill, full mitigation, midline touch), extensive visual customization for FVG representation, and a rich alert system for timely notifications on FVG-related events.
█ CONCEPTS
This indicator is built upon the core concept of Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) and their significance in price action analysis, offering a multi-layered approach to their detection and interpretation across different timeframes.
Fair Value Gaps (FVGs)
A Fair Value Gap (FVG), also known as an imbalance, represents a range in price delivery where one side of the market (buying or selling) was more aggressive, leaving an inefficiency or an "imbalance" in the price action. This concept is prominently featured within Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodologies, where such gaps are often interpreted as footprints left by "smart money" due to rapid, forceful price movements. These methodologies suggest that price may later revisit these FVG zones to rebalance a prior inefficiency or to seek liquidity before continuing its path. These gaps are typically identified by a three-bar pattern:
Bullish FVG : This is a three-candle formation where the second candle shows a strong upward move. The FVG is the space created between the high of the first candle (bottom of FVG) and the low of the third candle (top of FVG). This indicates a strong upward impulsive move.
Bearish FVG : This is a three-candle formation where the second candle shows a strong downward move. The FVG is the space created between the low of the first candle (top of FVG) and the high of the third candle (bottom of FVG). This indicates a strong downward impulsive move.
FVGs are often watched by traders as potential areas where price might return to "rebalance" or find support/resistance.
Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Analysis
The indicator extends FVG detection beyond the current chart's timeframe (Low Timeframe - LTF) to two higher user-defined timeframes: Medium Timeframe (MTF) and High Timeframe (HTF). This allows traders to:
Identify FVGs that might be significant on a broader market structure.
Observe how FVGs from different timeframes align or interact.
Gain a more comprehensive perspective on potential support and resistance zones.
FVG State and Lifecycle Management
The indicator actively tracks the lifecycle of each detected FVG:
Formation : The initial identification of an FVG.
Partial Fill (Entry) : When price enters but does not completely pass through the FVG. The indicator updates the "current" top/bottom of the FVG to reflect the filled portion.
Midline (Equilibrium) Touch : When price touches the 50% level of the FVG.
Full Mitigation : When price completely trades through the FVG, effectively "filling" or "rebalancing" the gap. The indicator records the mitigation time.
This state tracking is crucial for understanding how price interacts with these zones.
FVG Classification (Large FVG)
FVGs can be optionally classified as "Large FVGs" (LV) if their size (top to bottom range) exceeds a user-defined multiple of the Average True Range (ATR) for that FVG's timeframe. This helps distinguish FVGs that are significantly larger relative to recent volatility.
Visual Customization and Information Delivery
A key concept is providing extensive control over how FVGs are displayed. This control is achieved through a centralized set of visual parameters within the indicator, allowing users to configure numerous aspects (colors, line styles, visibility of boxes, midlines, mitigation lines, labels, etc.) for each timeframe. Additionally, an on-chart information panel summarizes the nearest unmitigated bullish and bearish FVG levels for each active timeframe, providing a quick glance at key price points.
█ FEATURES
This indicator offers a rich set of features designed to provide a highly customizable and comprehensive Fair Value Gap (FVG) analysis experience. Users can tailor the FVG detection, visual representation, and alerting mechanisms across three distinct timeframes: the current chart (Low Timeframe - LTF), a user-defined Medium Timeframe (MTF), and a user-defined High Timeframe (HTF).
Multi-Timeframe FVG Detection and Display
The core strength of this indicator lies in its ability to identify and display FVGs from not only the current chart's timeframe (LTF) but also from two higher, user-selectable timeframes (MTF and HTF).
Timeframe Selection: Users can specify the exact MTF (e.g., "60", "240") and HTF (e.g., "D", "W") through dedicated inputs in the "MTF (Medium Timeframe)" and "HTF (High Timeframe)" settings groups. The visibility of FVGs from these higher timeframes can be toggled independently using the "Show MTF FVGs" and "Show HTF FVGs" checkboxes.
Consistent Detection Logic: The FVG detection logic, based on the classic three-bar imbalance pattern detailed in the 'Concepts' section, is applied consistently across all selected timeframes (LTF, MTF, HTF)
Timeframe-Specific Visuals: Each timeframe's FVGs (LTF, MTF, HTF) can be customized with unique colors for bullish/bearish states and their mitigated counterparts. This allows for easy visual differentiation of FVGs originating from different market perspectives.
Comprehensive FVG Visualization Options
The indicator provides extensive control over how FVGs are visually represented on the chart for each timeframe (LTF, MTF, HTF).
FVG Boxes:
Visibility: Main FVG boxes can be shown or hidden per timeframe using the "Show FVG Boxes" (for LTF), "Show Boxes" (for MTF/HTF) inputs.
Color Customization: Colors for bullish, bearish, active, and mitigated FVG boxes (including Large FVGs, if classified) are fully customizable for each timeframe.
Box Extension & Length: FVG boxes can either be extended to the right indefinitely ("Extend Boxes Right") or set to a fixed length in bars ("Short Box Length" or "Box Length" equivalent inputs).
Box Labels: Optional labels can display the FVG's timeframe and fill percentage on the box. These labels are configurable for all timeframes (LTF, MTF, and HTF). Please note: If FVGs are positioned very close to each other on the chart, their respective labels may overlap. This can potentially lead to visual clutter, and it is a known behavior in the current version of the indicator.
Box Borders: Visibility, width, style (solid, dashed, dotted), and color of FVG box borders are customizable per timeframe.
Midlines (Equilibrium/EQ):
Visibility: The 50% level (midline or EQ) of FVGs can be shown or hidden for each timeframe.
Style Customization: Width, style, and color of the midline are customizable per timeframe. The indicator tracks if this midline has been touched by price.
Mitigation Lines:
Visibility: Mitigation lines (representing the FVG's opening level that needs to be breached for full mitigation) can be shown or hidden for each timeframe. If shown, these lines are always extended to the right.
Style Customization: Width, style, and color of the mitigation line are customizable per timeframe.
Mitigation Line Labels: Optional price labels can be displayed on mitigation lines, with a customizable horizontal bar offset for positioning. For optimal label placement, the following horizontal bar offsets are recommended: 4 for LTF, 8 for MTF, and 12 for HTF.
Persistence After Mitigation: Users can choose to keep mitigation lines visible even after an FVG is fully mitigated, with a distinct color for such lines. Importantly, this option is only effective if the general setting 'Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs' is disabled, as otherwise, the entire FVG and its lines will be removed upon mitigation.
FVG State Management and Behavior
The indicator tracks and visually responds to changes in FVG states.
Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs: This option, typically found in the indicator's general settings, allows users to automatically remove all visual elements of an FVG from the chart once price has fully mitigated it. This helps maintain chart clarity by focusing on active FVGs.
Partial Fill Visualization: When price enters an FVG, the indicator offers a dynamic visual representation: the portion of the FVG that has been filled is shown as a "mitigated box" (typically with a distinct color), while the original FVG box shrinks to clearly highlight the remaining, unfilled portion. This two-part display provides an immediate visual cue about how much of the FVG's imbalance has been addressed and what potential remains within the gap.
Visual Filtering by ATR Proximity: To help users focus on the most relevant price action, FVGs can be dynamically hidden if they are located further from the current price than a user-defined multiple of the Average True Range (ATR). This behavior is controlled by the "Filter Band Width (ATR Multiple)" input; setting this to zero disables the filter entirely, ensuring all detected FVGs remain visible regardless of their proximity to price.
Alternative Usage Example: Mitigation Lines as Key Support/Resistance Levels
For traders preferring a minimalist chart focused on key Fair Value Gap (FVG) levels, the indicator's visualization settings can be customized to display only FVG mitigation lines. This approach leverages these lines as potential support and resistance zones, reflecting areas where price might revisit to address imbalances.
To configure this view:
Disable FVG Boxes: Turn off "Show FVG Boxes" (for LTF) or "Show Boxes" (for MTF/HTF) for the desired timeframes.
Hide Midlines: Disable the visibility of the 50% FVG Midlines (Equilibrium/EQ).
Ensure Mitigation Lines are Visible: Keep "Mitigation Lines" enabled.
Retain All Mitigation Lines:
Disable the "Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs" option in the general settings.
Enable the feature to "keep mitigation lines visible even after an FVG is fully mitigated". This ensures lines from all FVGs (active or fully mitigated) remain on the chart, which is only effective if "Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs" is disabled.
This setup offers:
A Decluttered Chart: Focuses solely on the FVG opening levels.
Precise S/R Zones: Treats mitigation lines as specific points for potential price reactions.
Historical Level Analysis: Includes lines from past, fully mitigated FVGs for a comprehensive view of significant price levels.
For enhanced usability with this focused view, consider these optional additions:
The on-chart Information Panel can be activated to display a quick summary of the nearest unmitigated FVG levels.
Mitigation Line Labels can also be activated for clear price level identification. A customizable horizontal bar offset is available for positioning these labels; for example, offsets of 4 for LTF, 8 for MTF, and 12 for HTF can be effective.
FVG Classification (Large FVG)
This feature allows for distinguishing FVGs based on their size relative to market volatility.
Enable Classification: Users can enable "Classify FVG (Large FVG)" to identify FVGs that are significantly larger than average.
ATR-Based Threshold: An FVG is classified as "Large" if its height (price range) is greater than or equal to the Average True Range (ATR) of its timeframe multiplied by a user-defined "Large FVG Threshold (ATR Multiple)". The ATR period for this calculation is also configurable.
Dedicated Colors: Large FVGs (both bullish/bearish and active/mitigated) can be assigned unique colors, making them easily distinguishable on the chart.
Panel Icon: Large FVGs are marked with a special icon in the Info Panel.
Information Panel
An on-chart panel provides a quick summary of the nearest unmitigated FVG levels.
Visibility and Position: The panel can be shown/hidden and positioned in any of the nine standard locations on the chart (e.g., Top Right, Middle Center).
Content: It displays the price levels of the nearest unmitigated bullish and bearish FVGs for LTF, MTF (if active), and HTF (if active). It also indicates if these nearest FVGs are Large FVGs (if classification is enabled) using a selectable icon.
Styling: Text size, border color, header background/text colors, default text color, and "N/A" cell background color are customizable.
Highlighting: Background and text colors for the cells displaying the overall nearest bullish and bearish FVG levels (across all active timeframes) can be customized to draw attention to the most proximate FVG.
Comprehensive Alert System
The indicator offers a granular alert system for various FVG-related events, configurable for each timeframe (LTF, MTF, HTF) independently. Users can enable alerts for:
New FVG Formation: Separate alerts for new bullish and new bearish FVG formations.
FVG Entry/Partial Fill: Separate alerts for price entering a bullish FVG or a bearish FVG.
FVG Full Mitigation: Separate alerts for full mitigation of bullish and bearish FVGs.
FVG Midline (EQ) Touch: Separate alerts for price touching the midline of a bullish or bearish FVG.
Alert messages are detailed, providing information such as the timeframe, FVG type (bull/bear, Large FVG), relevant price levels, and timestamps.
█ NOTES
This section provides additional information regarding the indicator's usage, performance considerations, and potential interactions with the TradingView platform. Understanding these points can help users optimize their experience and troubleshoot effectively.
Performance and Resource Management
Maximum FVGs to Track : The "Max FVGs to Track" input (defaulting to 25) limits the number of FVG objects processed for each category (e.g., LTF Bullish, MTF Bearish). Increasing this value significantly can impact performance due to more objects being iterated over and potentially drawn, especially when multiple timeframes are active.
Drawing Object Limits : To manage performance, this script sets its own internal limits on the number of drawing objects it displays. While it allows for up to approximately 500 lines (max_lines_count=500) and 500 labels (max_labels_count=500), the number of FVG boxes is deliberately restricted to a maximum of 150 (max_boxes_count=150). This specific limit for boxes is a key performance consideration: displaying too many boxes can significantly slow down the indicator, and a very high number is often not essential for analysis. Enabling all visual elements for many FVGs across all three timeframes can cause the indicator to reach these internal limits, especially the stricter box limit
Optimization Strategies : To help you manage performance, reduce visual clutter, and avoid exceeding drawing limits when using this indicator, I recommend the following strategies:
Maintain or Lower FVG Tracking Count: The "Max FVGs to Track" input defaults to 25. I find this value generally sufficient for effective analysis and balanced performance. You can keep this default or consider reducing it further if you experience performance issues or prefer a less dense FVG display.
Utilize Proximity Filtering: I suggest activating the "Filter Band Width (ATR Multiple)" option (found under "General Settings") to display only those FVGs closer to the current price. From my experience, a value of 5 for the ATR multiple often provides a good starting point for balanced performance, but you should feel free to adjust this based on market volatility and your specific trading needs.
Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs: I strongly recommend enabling the "Hide Fully Mitigated FVGs" option. This setting automatically removes all visual elements of an FVG from the chart once it has been fully mitigated by price. Doing so significantly reduces the number of active drawing objects, lessens computational load, and helps maintain chart clarity by focusing only on active, relevant FVGs.
Disable FVG Display for Unused Timeframes: If you are not actively monitoring certain higher timeframes (MTF or HTF) for FVG analysis, I advise disabling their display by unchecking "Show MTF FVGs" or "Show HTF FVGs" respectively. This can provide a significant performance boost.
Simplify Visual Elements: For active FVGs, consider hiding less critical visual elements if they are not essential for your specific analysis. This could include box labels, borders, or even entire FVG boxes if, for example, only the mitigation lines are of interest for a particular timeframe.
Settings Changes and Platform Limits : This indicator is comprehensive and involves numerous calculations and drawings. When multiple settings are changed rapidly in quick succession, it is possible, on occasion, for TradingView to issue a "Runtime error: modify_study_limit_exceeding" or similar. This can cause the indicator to temporarily stop updating or display errors.
Recommended Approach : When adjusting settings, it is advisable to wait a brief moment (a few seconds) after each significant change. This allows the indicator to reprocess and update on the chart before another change is made
Error Recovery : Should such a runtime error occur, making a minor, different adjustment in the settings (e.g., toggling a checkbox off and then on again) and waiting briefly will typically allow the indicator to recover and resume correct operation. This behavior is related to platform limitations when handling complex scripts with many inputs and drawing objects.
Multi-Timeframe (MTF/HTF) Data and Behavior
HTF FVG Confirmation is Essential: : For an FVG from a higher timeframe (MTF or HTF) to be identified and displayed on your current chart (LTF), the three-bar pattern forming the FVG on that higher timeframe must consist of fully closed bars. The indicator does not draw speculative FVGs based on incomplete/forming bars from higher timeframes.
Data Retrieval and LTF Processing: The indicator may use techniques like lookahead = barmerge.lookahead_on for timely data retrieval from higher timeframes. However, the actual detection of an FVG occurs after all its constituent bars on the HTF have closed.
Appearance Timing on LTF (1 LTF Candle Delay): As a natural consequence of this, an FVG that is confirmed on an HTF (i.e., its third bar closes) will typically become visible on your LTF chart one LTF bar after its confirmation on the HTF.
Example: Assume an FVG forms on a 30-minute chart at 15:30 (i.e., with the close of the 30-minute bar that covers the 15:00-15:30 period). If you are monitoring this FVG on a 15-minute chart, the indicator will detect this newly formed 30-minute FVG while processing the data for the 15-minute bar that starts at 15:30 and closes at 15:45. Therefore, the 30-minute FVG will become visible on your 15-minute chart at the earliest by 15:45 (i.e., with the close of that relevant 15-minute LTF candle). This means the HTF FVG is reflected on the LTF chart with a delay equivalent to one LTF candle.
FVG Detection and Display Logic
Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) on the current chart timeframe (LTF) are detected based on barstate.isconfirmed. This means the three-bar pattern must be complete with closed bars before an FVG is identified. This confirmation method prevents FVGs from being prematurely identified on the forming bar.
Alerts
Alert Setup : To receive alerts from this indicator, you must first ensure you have enabled the specific alert conditions you are interested in within the indicator's own settings (see 'Comprehensive Alert System' under the 'FEATURES' section). Once configured, open TradingView's 'Create Alert' dialog. In the 'Condition' tab, select this indicator's name, and crucially, choose the 'Any alert() function call' option from the dropdown list. This setup allows the indicator to trigger alerts based on the precise event conditions you have activated in its settings
Alert Frequency : Alerts are designed to trigger once per bar close (alert.freq_once_per_bar_close) for the specific event.
User Interface (UI) Tips
Settings Group Icons: In the indicator settings menu, timeframe-specific groups are marked with star icons for easier navigation: 🌟 for LTF (Current Chart Timeframe), 🌟🌟 for MTF (Medium Timeframe), and 🌟🌟🌟 for HTF (High Timeframe).
Dependent Inputs: Some input settings are dependent on others being enabled. These dependencies are visually indicated in the settings menu using symbols like "↳" (dependent setting on the next line), "⟷" (mutually exclusive inline options), or "➜" (directly dependent inline option).
Settings Layout Overview: The indicator settings are organized into logical groups for ease of use. Key global display controls – such as toggles for MTF FVGs, HTF FVGs (along with their respective timeframe selectors), and the Information Panel – are conveniently located at the very top within the '⚙️ General Settings' group. This placement allows for quick access to frequently adjusted settings. Other sections provide detailed customization options for each timeframe (LTF, MTF, HTF), specific FVG components, and alert configurations.
█ FOR Pine Script® CODERS
This section provides a high-level overview of the FVG Premium indicator's internal architecture, data flow, and the interaction between its various library components. It is intended for Pine Script™ programmers who wish to understand the indicator's design, potentially extend its functionality, or learn from its structure.
System Architecture and Modular Design
The indicator is architected moduarly, leveraging several custom libraries to separate concerns and enhance code organization and reusability. Each library has a distinct responsibility:
FvgTypes: Serves as the foundational data definition layer. It defines core User-Defined Types (UDTs) like fvgObject (for storing all attributes of an FVG) and drawSettings (for visual configurations), along with enumerations like tfType.
CommonUtils: Provides utility functions for common tasks like mapping user string inputs (e.g., "Dashed" for line style) to their corresponding Pine Script™ constants (e.g., line.style_dashed) and formatting timeframe strings for display.
FvgCalculations: Contains the core logic for FVG detection (both LTF and MTF/HTF via requestMultiTFBarData), FVG classification (Large FVGs based on ATR), and checking FVG interactions with price (mitigation, partial fill).
FvgObject: Implements an object-oriented approach by attaching methods to the fvgObject UDT. These methods manage the entire visual lifecycle of an FVG on the chart, including drawing, updating based on state changes (e.g., mitigation), and deleting drawing objects. It's responsible for applying the visual configurations defined in drawSettings.
FvgPanel: Manages the creation and dynamic updates of the on-chart information panel, which displays key FVG levels.
The main indicator script acts as the orchestrator, initializing these libraries, managing user inputs, processing data flow between libraries, and handling the main event loop (bar updates) for FVG state management and alerts.
Core Data Flow and FVG Lifecycle Management
The general data flow and FVG lifecycle can be summarized as follows:
Input Processing: User inputs from the "Settings" dialog are read by the main indicator script. Visual style inputs (colors, line styles, etc.) are consolidated into a types.drawSettings object (defined in FvgTypes). Other inputs (timeframes, filter settings, alert toggles) control the behavior of different modules. CommonUtils assists in mapping some string inputs to Pine constants.
FVG Detection:
For the current chart timeframe (LTF), FvgCalculations.detectFvg() identifies potential FVGs based on bar patterns.
For MTF/HTF, the main indicator script calls FvgCalculations.requestMultiTFBarData() to fetch necessary bar data from higher timeframes, then FvgCalculations.detectMultiTFFvg() identifies FVGs.
Newly detected FVGs are instantiated as types.fvgObject and stored in arrays within the main script. These objects also undergo classification (e.g., Large FVG) by FvgCalculations.
State Update & Interaction: On each bar, the main indicator script iterates through active FVG objects to manage their state based on price interaction:
Initially, the main script calls FvgCalculations.fvgInteractionCheck() to efficiently determine if the current bar's price might be interacting with a given FVG.
If a potential interaction is flagged, the main script then invokes methods directly on the fvgObject instance (e.g., updateMitigation(), updatePartialFill(), checkMidlineTouch(), which are part of FvgObject).
These fvgObject methods are responsible for the detailed condition checking and the actual modification of the FVG's state. For instance, the updateMitigation() and updatePartialFill() methods internally utilize specific helper functions from FvgCalculations (like checkMitigation() and checkPartialMitigation()) to confirm the precise nature of the interaction before updating the fvgObject’s state fields (such as isMitigated, currentTop, currentBottom, or isMidlineTouched).
Visual Rendering:
The FvgObject.updateDrawings() method is called for each fvgObject. This method is central to drawing management; it creates, updates, or deletes chart drawings (boxes, lines, labels) based on the FVG's current state, its prev_* (previous bar state) fields for optimization, and the visual settings passed via the drawSettings object.
Information Panel Update: The main indicator script determines the nearest FVG levels, populates a panelData object (defined in FvgPanelLib), and calls FvgPanel.updatePanel() to refresh the on-chart display.
Alert Generation: Based on the updated FVG states and user-enabled alert settings, the main indicator script constructs and triggers alerts using Pine Script's alert() function."
Key Design Considerations
UDT-Centric Design: The fvgObject UDT is pivotal, acting as a stateful container for all information related to a single FVG. Most operations revolve around creating, updating, or querying these objects.
State Management: To optimize drawing updates and manage FVG lifecycles, fvgObject instances store their previous bar's state (e.g., prevIsVisible, prevCurrentTop). The FvgObject.updateDrawings() method uses this to determine if a redraw is necessary, minimizing redundant drawing calls.
Settings Object: A drawSettings object is populated once (or when inputs change) and passed to drawing functions. This avoids repeatedly reading numerous input() values on every bar or within loops, improving performance.
Dynamic Arrays for FVG Storage: Arrays are used to store collections of fvgObject instances, allowing for dynamic management (adding new FVGs, iterating for updates).
CommonUtils█ OVERVIEW
This library is a utility tool for Pine Script™ developers. It provides a collection of helper functions designed to simplify common tasks such as mapping user-friendly string inputs to Pine Script™ constants and formatting timeframe strings for display. The primary goal is to make main scripts cleaner, more readable, and reduce repetitive boilerplate code. It is envisioned as an evolving resource, with potential for new utilities to be added over time based on community needs and feedback.
█ CONCEPTS
The library primarily focuses on two main concepts:
Input Mapping
Pine Script™ often requires specific constants for function parameters (e.g., `line.style_dashed` for line styles, `position.top_center` for table positions). However, presenting these technical constants directly to users in script inputs can be confusing. Input mapping involves:
Allowing users to select options from more descriptive, human-readable strings (e.g., "Dashed", "Top Center") in the script's settings.
Providing functions within this library (e.g., `mapLineStyle`, `mapTablePosition`) that take these user-friendly strings as input.
Internally, these functions use switch statements or similar logic to convert (map) the input string to the corresponding Pine Script™ constant required by built-in functions.
This approach enhances user experience and simplifies the main script's logic by centralizing the mapping process.
Timeframe Formatting
Raw timeframe strings obtained from variables like `timeframe.period` (e.g., "1", "60", "D", "W") or user inputs are not always ideal for direct display in labels or panels. The `formatTimeframe` function addresses this by:
Taking a raw timeframe string as input.
Parsing this string to identify its numerical part and unit (e.g., minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, seconds, milliseconds).
Converting it into a more standardized and readable format (e.g., "1min", "60min", "Daily", "Weekly", "1s", "10M").
Offering an optional `customSuffix` parameter (e.g., " FVG", " Period") to append to the formatted string, making labels more descriptive, especially in multi-timeframe contexts.
The function is designed to correctly interpret various common timeframe notations used in TradingView.
█ NOTES
Ease of Use: The library functions are designed with simple and understandable signatures. They typically take a string input and return the corresponding Pine Script™ constant or a formatted string.
Default Behaviors: Mapping functions (`mapLineStyle`, `mapTablePosition`, `mapTextSize`) generally return a sensible default value (e.g., `line.style_solid` for `mapLineStyle`) in case of a non-matching input. This helps prevent errors in the main script.
Extensibility of Formatting: The `formatTimeframe` function, with its `customSuffix` parameter, allows for flexible customization of timeframe labels to suit the specific descriptive needs of different indicators or contexts.
Performance Considerations: These utility functions primarily use basic string operations and switch statements. For typical use cases, their impact on overall script performance is negligible. However, if a function like `formatTimeframe` were to be called excessively in a loop with dynamic inputs (which is generally not its intended use), performance should be monitored.
No Dependencies: This library is self-contained and does not depend on any other external Pine Script™ libraries.

FibSync - DynamicFibSupportWhat is this indicator?
FibSync – DynamicFibSupport overlays your chart with both static and dynamic Fibonacci retracement levels, making it easy to spot potential areas of support and resistance.
Static Fibs: Calculated from the highest and lowest price over a user-defined lookback period.
Dynamic Fibs: Calculated from the most recent swing high and swing low, automatically adapting as new swings form.
How to use
Add the indicator to your chart.
Configure the settings:
Static Fib Period: Sets the lookback window for static fib levels.
Show Dynamic Fibonacci Levels: Toggle dynamic fibs on/off.
Dynamic Fib Swing Search Window: How far back to search for valid swing highs/lows.
Swing Strength (bars left/right): How many bars define a swing high/low (higher = stronger swing).
Interpret the levels:
Solid lines are static fibs.
Transparent lines are dynamic fibs (if enabled).
Colors match standard fib conventions (yellow = 0.236, red = 0.382, blue = 0.618, green = 0.786, gray = 0.5).
Tips
Static and dynamic fibs can overlap-this often highlights especially important support/resistance zones.
Adjust the swing strength for your trading style: lower values for short-term, higher for long-term swings.
Hide/show individual lines using the indicator’s style settings in TradingView.
Trading Ideas (for higher timeframes and static fibs)
Close above the blue line (0.618 static fib):
This can be interpreted as a potential long (buy) signal, suggesting the market is breaking above a key resistance level.
Close below the red line (0.382 static fib):
This can be interpreted as a potential short (sell) signal, indicating the market is breaking below a key support level.
Note: These signals are most meaningful on higher timeframes and when using the static fib lines. Always confirm with your own strategy and risk management.
Gold ValuationGold Value Index
The Gold Value Index (GVI) is a macro-driven oscillator that estimates the relative value of gold based on real-time movements in the US Dollar Index (DXY) and the 10-Year US Treasury Yield (US10Y). It helps traders contextualize gold’s price within broader macroeconomic pressure — identifying when gold may be over- or undervalued relative to these key drivers.
How It Works – Macro Inputs:
DXY (US Dollar Index): Typically moves inversely to gold. A rising dollar suggests downward pressure on gold value.
US10Y Yield: Higher yields increase the opportunity cost of holding gold, often leading to weaker gold prices.
Both inputs are Z-score normalized and inverted to reflect their typical negative correlation with gold. When combined, they form a single, scaled index from 0 (undervalued) to 100 (overvalued).
Why Use This Tool?
Gold reacts to macro forces as much as technical ones. The GVI blends these inputs into a clear, visual gauge to:
Anticipate mean-reversion setups.
Avoid emotionally-driven trades in extreme macro conditions.
Enhance timing by understanding gold's macro context.

## Conclusion
The ₿ober XM v2.0 represents a significant evolution in trading strategy design, combining traditional technical analysis with machine learning elements and multi-timeframe analysis. The core strength of this system lies in its adaptability and recognition of market asymmetry.
### Market Asymmetry and Adaptive Approach
The strategy acknowledges a fundamental truth about markets: bullish and bearish phases behave differently and should be treated as distinct environments. The dual-channel system with separate parameters for long and short positions directly addresses this asymmetry, allowing for optimized performance regardless of market direction.
### Targeted Backtesting Philosophy
It's counterproductive to run backtests over excessively long periods. Markets evolve continuously, and strategies that worked in previous market regimes may be ineffective in current conditions. Instead:
- Test specific market phases separately (bull markets, bear markets, range-bound periods)
- Regularly re-optimize parameters as market conditions change
- Focus on recent performance with higher weight than historical results
- Test across multiple timeframes to ensure robustness
### Multi-Timeframe Analysis as a Game-Changer
The integration of multi-timeframe analysis fundamentally transforms the strategy's effectiveness:
- **Increased Safety**: Higher timeframe confirmations reduce false signals and improve trade quality
- **Context Awareness**: Decisions made with awareness of larger trends reduce adverse entries
- **Adaptable Precision**: Apply strict filters on lower timeframes while maintaining awareness of broader conditions
- **Reduced Noise**: Higher timeframe data naturally filters market noise that can trigger poor entries
The ₿ober XM v2.0 provides traders with a framework that acknowledges market complexity while offering practical tools to navigate it. With proper setup, realistic expectations, and attention to changing market conditions, it delivers a sophisticated approach to systematic trading that can be continuously refined and optimized.

Smart Trend Lines [The_lurker]
Smart Trend Lines
A multi-level trend classifier that detects bullish and bearish conditions using a methodology based on drawing trend lines—main, intermediate, and short-term—by identifying peaks and troughs. The tool highlights trend strength by applying filters such as the Average Directional Index (ADX) (A), Relative Strength Index (RSI) (R), and Volume (V), making it easier to interpret trend strength. The filter markers (V, A, R) in the Smart Trend Lines indicator are powerful tools for assessing the reliability of breakouts. Breakouts containing are the most reliable, as they indicate strong volume support, trend strength, and favorable momentum. Breakouts with partial filters (such as or ) require additional confirmation, while breakouts without filters ( ) should be avoided unless supported by other strong signals. By understanding the meaning of each filter and the market context.
Core Functionality
1. Trend Line Types
The indicator generates three distinct trend line categories, each serving a specific analytical purpose:
Main Trend Lines: These are long-term trend lines designed to capture significant market trends. They are calculated based on pivot points over a user-defined period (default: 50 bars). Main trend lines are ideal for identifying macro-level support and resistance zones.
Mid Trend Lines: These are medium-term trend lines (default: 21 bars) that focus on intermediate price movements. They provide a balance between short-term fluctuations and long-term trends, suitable for swing trading strategies.
Short Trend Lines: These are short-term trend lines (default: 9 bars) that track rapid price changes. They are particularly useful for scalping or day trading, highlighting immediate support and resistance levels.
Each trend line type can be independently enabled or disabled, allowing traders to tailor the indicator to their preferred timeframes.
2. Breakout Detection
The indicator employs a robust breakout detection system that identifies when the price crosses a trend line, signaling a potential trend reversal or continuation. Breakouts are validated using the following filters:
ADX Filter: The Average Directional Index (ADX) measures trend strength. A user-defined threshold (default: 20) ensures that breakouts occur during strong trends, reducing false signals in range-bound markets.
RSI Filter: The Relative Strength Index (RSI) identifies overbought or oversold conditions. Breakouts are filtered based on RSI thresholds (default: 65 for overbought, 35 for oversold) to avoid signals in extreme market conditions.
Volume Filter: Breakouts are confirmed only when trading volume exceeds a moving average (default: 20 bars) and aligns with the breakout direction (e.g., higher volume on bullish breakouts when the candle closes higher).
Breakout events are marked with labels on the chart, indicating the type of trend line broken (Main, Mid, or Short) and the filters satisfied (Volume, ADX, RSI). Alerts are triggered for each breakout, providing real-time notifications.
3. Customization Options
The indicator offers extensive customization through input settings, organized into logical groups for ease of use:

4. Technical Calculations
The indicator relies on several technical calculations to ensure accuracy:
Pivot Points: Pivot highs and lows are detected using the ta.pivothigh and ta.pivotlow functions, with separate lengths for Main, Mid, and Short trend lines.
Slope Calculation: The slope of each trend line is calculated as the change in price divided by the change in bar index between two pivot points.
ADX Calculation: ADX is computed using a 14-period Directional Movement Index (DMI), with smoothing over 14 bars.
RSI Calculation: RSI is calculated over a 14-period lookback using the ta.rsi function.
Volume Moving Average: A simple moving average (SMA) of volume is used to determine if current volume exceeds the average.
5. Strict Mode Validation
To ensure the reliability of trend lines, the indicator employs a strict mode check:
For bearish trend lines, all prices between pivot points must remain below the projected trend line.
For bullish trend lines, all prices must remain above the projected trend line.
Post-pivot break checks ensure that no breakouts occur between pivot points, enhancing the validity of the trend line.
6. Trend Line Extension
Trend lines are dynamically extended forward until a breakout occurs. The extension logic:
Projects the trend line using the calculated slope.
Continuously validates the extension using strict mode checks.
Stops extension upon a breakout, fixing the trend line at the breakout point.
7. Alerts and Labels
Labels: Breakout labels are placed above (for bearish breakouts) or below (for bullish breakouts) the price bar. Labels include:
A prefix indicating the trend line type (B for Main, M for Mid, S for Short).
A suffix showing satisfied filters (e.g., for Volume, ADX, and RSI).
Alerts: Each breakout triggers a one-time alert per bar close, with a descriptive message indicating the trend line type and filters met.
Detailed Code Breakdown
1. Initialization and Inputs
The script begins by defining the indicator with indicator('Smart Trend Lines ', overlay = true), ensuring it overlays on the price chart. Input settings are grouped into categories (Main, Mid, Short, General Display, Filters) for user convenience. Each input includes a tooltip in both English and Arabic, enhancing accessibility.
2. Technical Indicator Calculations
Volume MA: Calculated using ta.sma(volume, volPeriod) to compare current volume against the average.
ADX: Computed using custom dirmov and adx functions, which calculate the Directional Movement Index and smooth it over 14 periods.
RSI: Calculated with ta.rsi(close, rsiPeriod) over 14 periods.
Price Selection: The priceToCheck function selects the price type (Close, High, or Low) for breakout detection.
3. Pivot Detection
Pivot points are detected using ta.pivothigh and ta.pivotlow for each trend line type. The lookback period is set to the respective trend line length (e.g., 50 for Main, 21 for Mid, 9 for Short).
4. Trend Line Logic
For each trend line type (Main, Mid, Short):
Bearish Trend Lines: Identified when two consecutive pivot highs form a downward slope. The script validates the trend line using strict mode and post-pivot break checks.
Bullish Trend Lines: Identified when two consecutive pivot lows form an upward slope, with similar validation.
Trend lines are drawn using line.new, with separate lines for the initial segment (between pivots) and the extended segment (from the second pivot forward).
5. Breakout Detection and Labeling
Breakouts are detected when the selected price crosses the trend line level. The script checks:
Volume conditions (above average and aligned with candle direction).
ADX condition (above threshold).
RSI condition (within thresholds if enabled). Labels are created with label.new, and alerts are triggered with alert.
6. Trend Line Extension
The extendTrendline function dynamically updates the trend line’s endpoint unless a breakout occurs. It uses strict mode checks to ensure the trend line remains valid.
7. Previous Trend Lines
If enabled, previous main trend lines are stored in arrays (previousBearishStartLines, previousBullishTrendLines, etc.) and displayed on the chart, providing historical context.

Momentum Filter: Ensures trades align with strong price movements to avoid choppy markets.
Volume Filter: Validates signals with above-average volume to confirm market participation.
Breakout Filter: Requires price to break key levels for added confirmation.
Smart Money Signals (CHoCH/BOS): Identifies reversals (CHoCH) and trend continuations (BOS) based on pivot points.
AI Trend Dashboard: Summarizes trend strength, confidence, and predictions across timeframes, helping traders make informed decisions without needing to analyze complex data manually.
The strategy also plots dynamic support and resistance trendlines, take-profit (TP) levels, and “Get Ready” signals to alert users of potential setups before they fully develop. Trades are executed with predefined take-profit and stop-loss levels for disciplined risk management.
How It Works
The strategy integrates multiple components to create a cohesive trading system:
Multi-Timeframe Trend Analysis:
The strategy evaluates trends on three timeframes (1H, 4H, Daily) using Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) and Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP). A trend is considered bullish if the price is above both the EMA and VWAP, bearish if below, or neutral otherwise.
Signals are only generated when the trend on the user-selected higher timeframe aligns with the trade direction (e.g., Buy signals require a bullish higher timeframe trend). This reduces noise and ensures trades follow the broader market context.
Momentum Filter:
Measures the percentage price change between consecutive bars and compares it to a volatility-adjusted threshold (based on the Average True Range ). This ensures trades are taken only during significant price movements, filtering out low-momentum conditions.
Volume Filter (Optional):
Checks if the current volume exceeds a long-term average and shows positive short-term volume change. This confirms strong market participation, reducing the risk of false breakouts.
Breakout Filter (Optional):
Requires the price to break above (for Buy) or below (for Sell) recent highs/lows, ensuring the signal aligns with a structural shift in the market.
Smart Money Concepts (CHoCH/BOS):
Change of Character (CHoCH): Detects potential reversals when the price crosses under a recent pivot high (for Sell) or over a recent pivot low (for Buy) with a bearish or bullish candle, respectively.
Break of Structure (BOS): Confirms trend continuations when the price breaks below a recent pivot low (for Sell) or above a recent pivot high (for Buy) with strong momentum.
These signals are plotted as horizontal lines with labels, making it easy to visualize key levels.
AI Trend Dashboard:
Combines trend direction, momentum, and volatility (ATR) across timeframes to calculate a trend score. Scores above 0.5 indicate an “Up” trend, below -0.5 indicate a “Down” trend, and otherwise “Neutral.”
Displays a table summarizing trend strength (as a percentage), AI confidence (based on trend alignment), and Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) for market context.
A second table (optional) shows trend predictions for 1H, 4H, and Daily timeframes, helping traders anticipate future market direction.
Dynamic Trendlines:
Plots support and resistance lines based on recent swing lows and highs within user-defined periods (shortTrendPeriod, longTrendPeriod). These lines adapt to market conditions and are colored based on trend strength.
Why This Combination?
The PowerHouse SwiftEdge AI v2.10 Strategy is original because it seamlessly integrates traditional technical analysis (EMA, VWAP, ATR, volume) with smart money concepts (CHoCH, BOS) and a proprietary AI-driven trend analysis. Unlike standalone indicators, this strategy:
Reduces False Signals: By requiring confluence across trend, momentum, volume, and breakout filters, it minimizes trades in choppy or low-conviction markets.
Adapts to Market Context: The ATR-based momentum threshold adjusts dynamically to volatility, ensuring signals remain relevant in both trending and ranging markets.
Simplifies Decision-Making: The AI dashboard distills complex multi-timeframe data into a user-friendly table, eliminating the need for manual analysis.
Leverages Smart Money: CHoCH and BOS signals capture institutional price action patterns, giving traders an edge in identifying reversals and continuations.
The combination of these components creates a balanced system that aligns short-term trade entries with longer-term market trends, offering a unique blend of precision, adaptability, and clarity.

DAFE Visual Mastery: Pulsing Bollinger Band fills, dynamic SL/TP lines, and dual dashboards (metrics + position) make signals crystal-clear and charts a work of art.
Original Craftsmanship: A DAFE creation, built with community passion, not a rehashed clone of generic code.
Traders need this because it’s a complete, adaptive system that blends quant smarts, user-friendly design, and DAFE flair. It’s your edge to trade with confidence, cut through market noise, and leave the copycats in the dust.
Strategy Components
1. Market Regime Detection
The strategy’s brain is its ability to classify market conditions into five regimes, ensuring signals match the environment.
How It Works:
Trending (Regime 1): ADX > 20, fast/slow EMA spread > 0.3x ATR, HTF RSI > 50 or MACD bullish (htf_trend_bull/bear).
Range (Regime 2): ADX < 25, price range < 3% of close, no HTF trend.
Volatile (Regime 3): BB width > 1.5x avg, ATR > 1.2x avg, HTF RSI overbought/oversold.
Quiet (Regime 4): BB width < 0.8x avg, ATR < 0.9x avg.
Other (Regime 5): Default for unclear conditions.
Indicators: ADX (14), BB width (20), ATR (14, 50-bar SMA), HTF RSI (14, daily default), HTF MACD (12,26,9).
Why It’s Brilliant:
Regime detection adapts signals to market context, boosting win rates in trending or volatile conditions.
HTF RSI/MACD add a big-picture filter, rare in basic scripts.
Visualized via gradient background (green for Trending, orange for Range, red for Volatile, gray for Quiet, navy for Other).
2. Multi-Factor Signal Scoring
Entries are driven by a weighted scoring system that combines candlestick patterns, trend, momentum, and volume for robust signals.
Candlestick Patterns:
Bullish: Engulfing (0.5), hammer (0.4 in Range, 0.2 else), morning star (0.2), piercing (0.2), double bottom (0.3 in Volatile, 0.15 else). Must be near support (low ≤ 1.01x 20-bar low) with volume spike (>1.5x 20-bar avg).
Bearish: Engulfing (0.5), shooting star (0.4 in Range, 0.2 else), evening star (0.2), dark cloud (0.2), double top (0.3 in Volatile, 0.15 else). Must be near resistance (high ≥ 0.99x 20-bar high) with volume spike.
Logic: Patterns are weighted higher in specific regimes (e.g., hammer in Range, double bottom in Volatile).
Additional Factors:
Trend: Fast EMA (20) > slow EMA (50) + 0.5x ATR (trend_bull, +0.2); opposite for trend_bear.
RSI: RSI (14) < 30 (rsi_bull, +0.15); > 70 (rsi_bear, +0.15).
MACD: MACD line > signal (12,26,9, macd_bull, +0.15); opposite for macd_bear.
Volume: ATR > 1.2x 50-bar avg (vol_expansion, +0.1).
HTF Confirmation: HTF RSI < 70 and MACD bullish (htf_bull_confirm, +0.2); RSI > 30 and MACD bearish (htf_bear_confirm, +0.2).
Scoring:
bull_score = sum of bullish factors; bear_score = sum of bearish. Entry requires score ≥ 1.0.
Example: Bullish engulfing (0.5) + trend_bull (0.2) + rsi_bull (0.15) + htf_bull_confirm (0.2) = 1.05, triggers long.
Why It’s Brilliant:
Multi-factor scoring ensures signals are confirmed by multiple market dynamics, reducing false positives.
Regime-specific weights make patterns more relevant (e.g., hammers shine in Range markets).
HTF confirmation aligns with the big picture, a quant edge over simplistic scripts.
3. Futures-Tuned Risk Management
The risk system is built for futures, calculating position sizes based on $ risk and offering flexible stops/TPs.
Position Sizing:
Logic: Risk per trade (default: $300) ÷ (stop distance in points * point value) = contracts, capped at max_contracts (default: 5). Point value = tick value (e.g., $12.5 for ES) * ticks per point (4) * contract multiplier (1 for ES, 0.1 for MES).
Example: $300 risk, 8-point stop, ES ($50/point) → 0.75 contracts, rounded to 1.
Impact: Precise sizing prevents over-leverage, critical for micro contracts like MES.
Stops and Take-Profits:
Fixed: Default stop = 8 points, TP = 16 points (2:1 reward/risk).
ATR-Based: Stop = 1.5x ATR (default), TP = 3x ATR, enabled via use_atr_for_stops.
Logic: Stops set at swing low/high ± stop distance; TPs at 2x stop distance from entry.
Impact: ATR stops adapt to volatility, while fixed stops suit stable markets.
Trailing Stops:
Logic: Activates at 50% of TP distance. Trails at close ± 1.5x ATR (atr_multiplier). Longs: max(trail_stop_long, close - ATR * 1.5); shorts: min(trail_stop_short, close + ATR * 1.5).
Impact: Locks in profits during trends, a game-changer in volatile sessions.
Circuit Breaker:
Logic: Pauses trading if daily drawdown > 5% (daily_drawdown = (max_equity - equity) / max_equity).
Impact: Protects capital during black swan events (e.g., April 27, 2025 ES slippage).
Why It’s Brilliant:
Futures-specific inputs (tick value, multiplier) make it plug-and-play for ES/MES.
Trailing stops and circuit breaker add pro-level safety, rare in off-the-shelf scripts.
Flexible stops (ATR or fixed) suit different trading styles.
4. Trade Entry and Exit Logic
Entries and exits are precise, driven by bull_score/bear_score and protected by drawdown checks.
Entry Conditions:
Long: bull_score ≥ 1.0, no position (position_size <= 0), drawdown < 5% (not pause_trading). Calculates contracts, sets stop at swing low - stop points, TP at 2x stop distance.
Short: bear_score ≥ 1.0, position_size >= 0, drawdown < 5%. Stop at swing high + stop points, TP at 2x stop distance.
Logic: Tracks entry_regime for PNL arrays. Closes opposite positions before entering.
Exit Conditions:
Stop-Loss/Take-Profit: Hits stop or TP (strategy.exit).
Trailing Stop: Activates at 50% TP, trails by ATR * 1.5.
Emergency Exit: Closes if price breaches stop (close < long_stop_price or close > short_stop_price).
Reset: Clears stop/TP prices when flat (position_size = 0).
Why It’s Brilliant:
Score-based entries ensure multi-factor confirmation, filtering out weak signals.
Trailing stops maximize profits in trends, unlike static exits in basic scripts.
Emergency exits add an extra safety layer, critical for futures volatility.
5. DAFE Visuals
The visuals are pure DAFE magic, blending function with cyberpunk flair to make signals intuitive and charts stunning.
Shimmering Bollinger Band Fill:
Display: BB basis (20, white), upper/lower (green/red, 45% transparent). Fill pulses (30–50 alpha) by regime, with glow (60–95 alpha) near bands (close ≥ 0.995x upper or ≤ 1.005x lower).

1. Divergence Detection (Core Signal Logic)
The strategy’s core is its ability to detect bullish and bearish divergences between price and On-Balance Volume (OBV), pinpointing reversals with surgical accuracy.
How It Works:
Price Slope: Uses linear regression over a lookback (default: 9 bars) to measure price momentum (priceSlope).
OBV Slope: OBV tracks volume flow (+volume if price rises, -volume if falls), with its slope calculated similarly (obvSlope).
Bullish Divergence: Price slope negative (falling), OBV slope positive (rising), and price above 50-bar SMA (trend_ma).
Bearish Divergence: Price slope positive (rising), OBV slope negative (falling), and price below 50-bar SMA.
Smoothing: Requires two consecutive divergence bars (bullDiv2, bearDiv2) to confirm signals, reducing false positives.
Strength: Divergence intensity (divStrength = |priceSlope * obvSlope| * sensitivity) is normalized (0–1, divStrengthNorm) for visuals.
Why It’s Brilliant:
- Divergences catch hidden momentum shifts, often exploited by institutions, giving you an edge on reversals.
- The 50-bar SMA filter aligns signals with the broader trend, avoiding choppy markets.
- Adjustable lookback (min: 3) and sensitivity (default: 1.0) let you tune for different instruments or timeframes.
2. Filters for Precision
Four advanced filters ensure signals are high-probability and market-aligned, cutting through the noise of volatile futures.
Z-Score Filter:
Logic: Calculates z-score ((close - SMA) / stdev) over a lookback (default: 50 bars). Blocks entries if |z-score| > threshold (default: 1.5) unless disabled (useZFilter = false).
Impact: Avoids trades during extreme price moves (e.g., blow-off tops), keeping you in statistically safe zones.
ATR Percentile Volatility Filter:
Logic: Tracks 14-bar ATR in a 100-bar window (default). Requires current ATR > 80th percentile (percATR) to trade (tradeOk).
Impact: Ensures sufficient volatility for meaningful moves, filtering out low-volume chop.
Multi-Timeframe (HTF) Trend Filter:
Logic: Uses a 50-bar SMA on a higher timeframe (default: 60min). Longs require price > HTF MA (bullTrendOK), shorts < HTF MA (bearTrendOK).
Impact: Aligns trades with the bigger trend, reducing counter-trend losses.
US Session Filter:
Logic: Restricts trading to 9:30am–4:00pm ET (default: enabled, useSession = true) using America/New_York timezone.
Impact: Focuses on high-liquidity hours, avoiding overnight spreads and erratic moves.
Evolution:
- These filters create a robust signal pipeline, ensuring trades are timed for optimal conditions.
- Customizable inputs (e.g., zThreshold, atrPercentile) let traders adapt to their style without compromising quality.
3. Risk Management
The strategy’s risk controls are a masterclass in balancing aggression and safety, protecting capital in volatile markets.
Daily Loss Kill Switch:
Logic: Tracks daily loss (dayStartEquity - strategy.equity). Halts trading if loss ≥ $300 (default) and enabled (killSwitch = true, killSwitchActive).
Impact: Caps daily downside, crucial during events like April 27, 2025 ES slippage.
Rolling Drawdown Kill Switch:
Logic: Monitors drawdown (rollingPeak - strategy.equity) over 100 bars (default). Stops trading if > $1000 (rollingKill).
Impact: Prevents prolonged losing streaks, preserving capital for better setups.
Dynamic Stop-Loss and Take-Profit:
Logic: Stops = entry ± ATR * multiplier (default: 1.0x, stopDist). TPs = entry ± ATR * 1.5x (profitDist). Longs: stop below, TP above; shorts: vice versa.
Impact: Adapts to volatility, keeping stops tight but realistic, with TPs targeting 1.5:1 reward/risk.
Max Bars in Trade:
Logic: Closes trades after 8 bars (default) if not already exited.
Impact: Frees capital from stagnant trades, maintaining efficiency.
Kill Switch Buffer Dashboard:
Logic: Shows smallest buffer ($300 - daily loss or $1000 - rolling DD). Displays 0 (red) if kill switch active, else buffer (green).
Impact: Real-time risk visibility, letting traders adjust dynamically.
Why It’s Brilliant:
- Kill switches and ATR-based exits create a safety net, rare in generic scripts.
- Customizable risk inputs (maxDailyLoss, dynamicStopMult) suit different account sizes.
- Buffer metric empowers disciplined trading, a DAFE signature.
4. Trade Entry and Exit Logic
The entry/exit rules are precise, filtered, and adaptive, ensuring trades are deliberate and profitable.
Entry Conditions:
Long Entry: bullDiv2, cooldown passed (canSignal), ATR filter passed (tradeOk), in US session (inSession), no kill switches (not killSwitchActive, not rollingKill), z-score OK (zOk), HTF trend bullish (bullTrendOK), no existing long (lastDirection != 1, position_size <= 0). Closes shorts first.
Short Entry: Same, but for bearDiv2, bearTrendOK, no long (lastDirection != -1, position_size >= 0). Closes longs first.
Adaptive Cooldown: Default 2 bars (cooldownBars). Doubles (up to 10) after a losing trade, resets after wins (dynamicCooldown).
Exit Conditions:
Stop-Loss/Take-Profit: Set per trade (ATR-based). Exits on stop/TP hits.
Other Exits: Closes if maxBarsInTrade reached, ATR filter fails, or kill switch activates.
Position Management: Ensures no conflicting positions, closing opposites before new entries.
Built To Be Reliable and Consistent:
- Multi-filtered entries minimize false signals, a stark contrast to basic scripts.
- Adaptive cooldown prevents overtrading, especially after losses.
- Clean position handling ensures smooth execution, even in fast markets.
5. DAFE Visuals
The visuals are a DAFE hallmark, blending function with clean flair to make signals intuitive and charts stunning.
Aurora Bands:
Display: Bands around price during divergences (bullish: below low, bearish: above high), sized by ATR * bandwidth (default: 0.5).
Colors: Aqua (bullish), fuchsia (bearish), with transparency tied to divStrengthNorm.
Purpose: Highlights divergence zones with a glowing, futuristic vibe.
Divergence Orbs:
Display: Large/small circles (aqua below for bullish, fuchsia above for bearish) when bullDiv2/bearDiv2 and canSignal. Labels show strength (0–1).
Purpose: Pinpoints entries with eye-catching clarity.
Gradient Background:
Display: Green (bullish), red (bearish), or gray (neutral), 90–95% transparent.
Purpose: Sets the market mood without clutter.
Strategy Plots:

ADR% Extension Levels from SMA 50I created this indicator inspired by RealSimpleAriel (a swing trader I recommend following on X) who does not buy stocks extended beyond 4 ADR% from the 50 SMA and uses extensions from the 50 SMA at 7-8-9-10-11-12-13 ADR% to take profits with a 20% position trimming.
RealSimpleAriel's strategy (as I understood it):
-> Focuses on leading stocks from leading groups and industries, i.e., those that have grown the most in the last 1-3-6 months (see on Finviz groups and then select sector-industry).
-> Targets stocks with the best technical setup for a breakout, above the 200 SMA in a bear market and above both the 50 SMA and 200 SMA in a bull market, selecting those with growing Earnings and Sales.
-> Buys stocks on breakout with a stop loss set at the day's low of the breakout and ensures they are not extended beyond 4 ADR% from the 50 SMA.
-> 3-5 day momentum burst: After a breakout, takes profits by selling 1/2 or 1/3 of the position after a 3-5 day upward move.
-> 20% trimming on extension from the 50 SMA: At 7 ADR% (ADR% calculated over 20 days) extension from the 50 SMA, takes profits by selling 20% of the remaining position. Continues to trim 20% of the remaining position based on the stock price extension from the 50 SMA, calculated using the 20-period ADR%, thus trimming 20% at 8-9-10-11 ADR% extension from the 50 SMA. Upon reaching 12-13 ADR% extension from the 50 SMA, considers the stock overextended, closes the remaining position, and evaluates a short.
-> Trailing stop with ascending SMA: Uses a chosen SMA (10, 20, or 50) as the definitive stop loss for the position, depending on the stock's movement speed (preferring larger SMAs for slower-moving stocks or for long-term theses). If the stock's closing price falls below the chosen SMA, the entire position is closed.
In summary:
-->Buy a breakout using the day's low of the breakout as the stop loss (this stop loss is the most critical).
--> Do not buy stocks extended beyond 4 ADR% from the 50 SMA.
--> Sell 1/2 or 1/3 of the position after 3-5 days of upward movement.
--> Trim 20% of the position at each 7-8-9-10-11-12-13 ADR% extension from the 50 SMA.
--> Close the entire position if the breakout fails and the day's low of the breakout is reached.
--> Close the entire position if the price, during the rise, falls below a chosen SMA (10, 20, or 50, depending on your preference).
--> Definitively close the position if it reaches 12-13 ADR% extension from the 50 SMA.
I used Grok from X to create this indicator. I am not a programmer, but based on the ADR% I use, it works.
Below is Grok from X's description of the indicator:
Script Description
The script is a custom indicator for TradingView that displays extension levels based on ADR% relative to the 50-period Simple Moving Average (SMA). Below is a detailed description of its features, structure, and behavior:
1. Purpose of the Indicator
Name: "ADR% Extension Levels from SMA 50".
Objective: Draw horizontal blue lines above and below the 50-period SMA, corresponding to specific ADR% multiples (4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13). These levels represent potential price extension zones based on the average daily percentage volatility.
Overlay: The indicator is overlaid on the price chart (overlay=true), so the lines and SMA appear directly on the price graph.
2. Configurable Inputs
The indicator allows users to customize parameters through TradingView settings:
SMA Length (smaLength):
Default: 50 periods.
Description: Specifies the number of periods for calculating the Simple Moving Average (SMA). The 50-period SMA serves as the reference point for extension levels.
Constraint: Minimum 1 period.
ADR% Length (adrLength):
Default: 20 periods.
Description: Specifies the number of days to calculate the moving average of the daily high/low ratio, used to determine ADR%.
Constraint: Minimum 1 period.
Scale Factor (scaleFactor):
Default: 1.0.
Description: An optional multiplier to adjust the distance of extension levels from the SMA. Useful if levels are too close or too far due to an overly small or large ADR%.
Constraint: Minimum 0.1, increments of 0.1.
Tooltip: "Adjust if levels are too close or far from SMA".
3. Main Calculations
50-period SMA:
Calculated with ta.sma(close, smaLength) using the closing price (close).
Serves as the central line around which extension levels are drawn.
ADR% (Average Daily Range Percentage):
Formula: 100 * (ta.sma(dhigh / dlow, adrLength) - 1).
Details:
dhigh and dlow are the daily high and low prices, obtained via request.security(syminfo.tickerid, "D", high/low) to ensure data is daily-based, regardless of the chart's timeframe.
The dhigh / dlow ratio represents the daily percentage change.
The simple moving average (ta.sma) of this ratio over 20 days (adrLength) is subtracted by 1 and multiplied by 100 to obtain ADR% as a percentage.
The result is multiplied by scaleFactor for manual adjustments.
Extension Levels:
Defined as ADR% multiples: 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
Stored in an array (levels) for easy iteration.
For each level, prices above and below the SMA are calculated as:
Above: sma50 * (1 + (level * adrPercent / 100))
Below: sma50 * (1 - (level * adrPercent / 100))
These represent price levels corresponding to a percentage change from the SMA equal to level * ADR%.
4. Visualization
Horizontal Blue Lines:
For each level (4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 ADR%), two lines are drawn:
One above the SMA (e.g., +4 ADR%).
One below the SMA (e.g., -4 ADR%).
Color: Blue (color.blue).
Style: Solid (style=line.style_solid).
Management:
Each level has dedicated variables for upper and lower lines (e.g., upperLine1, lowerLine1 for 4 ADR%).
Previous lines are deleted with line.delete before drawing new ones to avoid overlaps.
Lines are updated at each bar with line.new(bar_index , level, bar_index, level), covering the range from the previous bar to the current one.
Labels:
Displayed only on the last bar (barstate.islast) to avoid clutter.
For each level, two labels:
Above: E.g., "4 ADR%", positioned above the upper line (style=label.style_label_down).
Below: E.g., "-4 ADR%", positioned below the lower line (style=label.style_label_up).
Color: Blue background, white text.
50-period SMA:
Drawn as a gray line (color.gray) for visual reference.
Diagnostics:
ADR% Plot: ADR% is plotted in the status line (orange, histogram style) to verify the value.
ADR% Label: A label on the last bar near the SMA shows the exact ADR% value (e.g., "ADR%: 2.34%"), with a gray background and white text.
5. Behavior
Dynamic Updating:
Lines update with each new bar to reflect new SMA 50 and ADR% values.
Since ADR% uses daily data ("D"), it remains constant within the same day but changes day-to-day.
Visibility Across All Bars:
Lines are drawn on every bar, not just the last one, ensuring visibility on historical data as well.
Adaptability:
The scaleFactor allows level adjustments if ADR% is too small (e.g., for low-volatility symbols) or too large (e.g., for cryptocurrencies).
Compatibility:
Works on any timeframe since ADR% is calculated from daily data.
Suitable for symbols with varying volatility (e.g., stocks, forex, cryptocurrencies).
6. Intended Use
Technical Analysis: Extension levels represent significant price zones based on average daily volatility. They can be used to:
Identify potential price targets (e.g., take profit at +7 ADR%).
Assess support/resistance zones (e.g., -4 ADR% as support).
Measure price extension relative to the 50 SMA.
Trading: Useful for strategies based on breakouts or mean reversion, where ADR% levels indicate reversal or continuation points.
Debugging: Labels and ADR% plot help verify that values align with the symbol’s volatility.
7. Limitations
Dependence on Daily Data: ADR% is based on daily dhigh/dlow, so it may not reflect intraday volatility on short timeframes (e.g., 1 minute).
Extreme ADR% Values: For low-volatility symbols (e.g., bonds) or high-volatility symbols (e.g., meme stocks), ADR% may require adjustments via scaleFactor.
Graphical Load: Drawing 16 lines (8 upper, 8 lower) on every bar may slow the chart for very long historical periods, though line management is optimized.
ADR% Formula: The formula 100 * (sma(dhigh/dlow, Length) - 1) may produce different values compared to other ADR% definitions (e.g., (high - low) / close * 100), so users should be aware of the context.
8. Visual Example
On a chart of a stock like TSLA (daily timeframe):
The 50 SMA is a gray line tracking the average trend.
Assuming an ADR% of 3%:
At +4 ADR% (12%), a blue line appears at sma50 * 1.12.
At -4 ADR% (-12%), a blue line appears at sma50 * 0.88.
Other lines appear at ±7, ±8, ±9, ±10, ±11, ±12, ±13 ADR%.
On the last bar, labels show "4 ADR%", "-4 ADR%", etc., and a gray label shows "ADR%: 3.00%".
ADR% is visible in the status line as an orange histogram.
9. Code: Technical Structure
Language: Pine Script @version=5.
Inputs: Three configurable parameters (smaLength, adrLength, scaleFactor).
Calculations:
SMA: ta.sma(close, smaLength).
ADR%: 100 * (ta.sma(dhigh / dlow, adrLength) - 1) * scaleFactor.
Levels: sma50 * (1 ± (level * adrPercent / 100)).
Graphics:
Lines: Created with line.new, deleted with line.delete to avoid overlaps.
Labels: Created with label.new only on the last bar.
Plots: plot(sma50) for the SMA, plot(adrPercent) for debugging.
Optimization: Uses dedicated variables for each line (e.g., upperLine1, lowerLine1) for clear management and to respect TradingView’s graphical object limits.
10. Possible Improvements
Option to show lines only on the last bar: Would reduce visual clutter.
Customizable line styles: Allow users to choose color or style (e.g., dashed).
Alert for anomalous ADR%: A message if ADR% is too small or large.
Dynamic levels: Allow users to specify ADR% multiples via input.
Optimization for short timeframes: Adapt ADR% for intraday timeframes.
Conclusion
The script creates a visual indicator that helps traders identify price extension levels based on daily volatility (ADR%) relative to the 50 SMA. It is robust, configurable, and includes debugging tools (ADR% plot and labels) to verify values. The ADR% formula based on dhigh/dlow

ICT Swiftedge# ICT SwiftEdge: Advanced Market Structure Trading System
**Overview**
ICT SwiftEdge is a powerful trading system built upon the foundation of ICTProTools' ICT Breakers, licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (mozilla.org). This script has been significantly enhanced by to combine market structure analysis with modern technical indicators and a sleek, AI-inspired statistics dashboard. The goal is to provide traders with a comprehensive tool for identifying high-probability trade setups, managing exits, and tracking performance in a visually intuitive way.
**Credits**
This script is a derivative work based on the original "ICT Breakers" by ICTProTools, used with permission under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Significant enhancements, including RSI-MA signals, trend filtering, dynamic timeframe adjustments, dual exit strategies, and an AI-style statistics dashboard, were developed by . We express our gratitude to ICTProTools for their foundational work in market structure analysis.
**What It Does**
ICT SwiftEdge integrates multiple trading concepts to help traders identify and manage trades based on market structure and momentum:
- **Market Structure Analysis**: Identifies Break of Structure (BOS) and Market Structure Shift (MSS) patterns, which signal potential trend continuations or reversals. BOS indicates a continuation of the current trend, while MSS highlights a shift in market direction, providing key entry points.
- **RSI-MA Signals**: Generates "BUY" and "SELL" signals when BOS or MSS patterns align with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) smoothed by a Moving Average (RSI-MA). Signals are filtered to occur only when RSI-MA is above 50 (for buys) or below 50 (for sells), ensuring momentum supports the trade direction.
- **Trend Filtering**: Prevents multiple signals in the same trend, ensuring only one buy or sell signal per trend direction, reducing noise and improving trade clarity.
- **Dynamic Timeframe Adjustment**: Automatically adjusts pivot points, RSI, and MA parameters based on the selected chart timeframe (1M to 1D), optimizing performance across different market conditions.
- **Flexible Exit Strategies**: Offers two user-selectable exit methods:
- **Trailing Stop-Loss (TSL)**: Exits trades when price moves against the position by a user-defined distance (in points), locking in profits or limiting losses.
- **RSI-MA Exit**: Exits trades when RSI-MA crosses the 50 level, signaling a potential loss of momentum.
- Users can enable either or both strategies, providing flexibility to adapt to different trading styles.
- **AI-Style Statistics Dashboard**: Displays real-time trade performance metrics in a futuristic, neon-colored interface, including total trades, wins, losses, win/loss ratio, and win percentage. This helps traders evaluate the system's effectiveness without external tools.
**Why This Combination?**
The integration of these components creates a synergistic trading system:
- **BOS/MSS and RSI-MA**: Combining market structure breaks with RSI-MA ensures entries are based on both price action (structure) and momentum (RSI-MA), increasing the likelihood of high-probability trades.
- **Trend Filtering**: By limiting signals to one per trend, the system avoids overtrading and focuses on significant market moves.
- **Dynamic Adjustments**: Timeframe-specific parameters make the system versatile, suitable for scalping (1M, 5M) or swing trading (4H, 1D).
- **Dual Exit Strategies**: TSL protects profits during trending markets, while RSI-MA exits are ideal for range-bound or reversing markets, catering to diverse market conditions.
- **Statistics Dashboard**: Provides immediate feedback on trade performance, enabling data-driven decision-making without manual tracking.
This combination balances technical precision with user-friendly visuals, making it accessible to both novice and experienced traders.
**How to Use**
1. **Add to Chart**: Apply the script to any TradingView chart.
2. **Configure Settings**:
- **Chart Timeframe**: Select your chart's timeframe (1M to 1D) to optimize parameters.
- **Structure Timeframe**: Choose a timeframe for market structure analysis (leave blank for chart timeframe).
- **Exit Strategy**: Enable Trailing Stop-Loss (`useTslExit`), RSI-MA Exit (`useRsiMaExit`), or both. Adjust `tslPoints` for TSL distance.
- **Show Signals/Labels**: Toggle `showSignals` and `showExit` to display "BUY", "SELL", and "EXIT" labels.
- **Dashboard**: Enable `showDashboard` to view trade statistics. Customize colors with `dashboardBgColor` and `dashboardTextColor`.
3. **Trading**:
- Look for "BUY" or "SELL" labels to enter trades when BOS/MSS aligns with RSI-MA.
- Exit trades at "EXIT" labels based on your chosen strategy.
- Monitor the statistics dashboard to track performance (total trades, win/loss ratio, win percentage).
4. **Alerts**: Set up alerts for BOS, MSS, buy, sell, or exit signals using the provided alert conditions.

Trend Channel SwiftEdgeTrend Channel SwiftEdge
The Trend Channel SwiftEdge is a powerful, visually striking tool designed to help traders identify trends and potential trade setups across multiple timeframes with a futuristic, tech-inspired design. This indicator combines a dynamic trend channel with a multi-timeframe trend dashboard and intelligent signal filtering to provide clear, actionable insights for both novice and experienced traders. Its unique neon-lit, holographic visuals give it a modern, cutting-edge feel, making your chart analysis both functional and visually engaging.
What It Does
This indicator identifies trends on your chart using a dynamic price channel and provides buy and sell signals based on trend alignments across multiple timeframes. It also features a dashboard that displays the trend direction (Up, Down, or Neutral) for six timeframes: 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, and 1-day. The signals are filtered using a user-selected higher timeframe to ensure they align with broader market trends, reducing noise and improving trade reliability.
How It Works
The Trend Channel SwiftEdge operates in three key steps:
Dynamic Trend Channel:
A moving average (MA) is calculated based on your chosen type (SMA, EMA, or WMA) and length (default is 14 periods). This MA forms the backbone of the trend channel.
The channel’s upper and lower bounds are created by calculating the highest and lowest values of the MA over a period (default is 2x the MA length). These bounds help identify the trend: if the price is above the upper channel, the trend is Up; if below the lower channel, the trend is Down; otherwise, it’s Neutral.
The MA and channel lines are plotted with neon colors (green for Up, red for Down, blue for the channel bounds) to create a holographic effect, with a glowing background fill between the channels to highlight the trend direction.
Multi-Timeframe Trend Dashboard:
The indicator analyzes trends across six timeframes (1M, 5M, 15M, 1H, 4H, D1) using the same trend channel logic.
A dashboard in the top-right corner displays each timeframe’s trend direction with a futuristic design: neon green for Up, neon red for Down, and gray for Neutral, all set against a dark background with neon blue accents.
Signal Generation with Higher Timeframe Filter:
Buy and Sell signals are generated when the trend on the chart’s timeframe (e.g., 1M) aligns with a user-selected higher timeframe (e.g., 15M).
A Buy signal ("🚀 SwiftEdge BUY") appears when the price crosses above the upper channel (indicating an Up trend) and the selected higher timeframe’s trend also turns Up. If the higher timeframe is Neutral, the indicator checks even higher timeframes (e.g., 1H and 4H for a 15M filter) to confirm the trend direction.
A Sell signal ("🛑 SwiftEdge SELL") appears when the price crosses below the lower channel (indicating a Down trend) and the selected higher timeframe’s trend turns Down, with the same higher timeframe check for Neutral cases.
Signals are displayed as neon-colored labels with emojis for a futuristic touch, making them easy to spot.
Why This Combination?
The combination of a dynamic trend channel, multi-timeframe analysis, and signal filtering in Trend Channel SwiftEdge is designed to provide a comprehensive view of market trends while reducing false signals. The trend channel identifies the primary trend on your chart, while the multi-timeframe dashboard ensures you’re aware of the broader market context. The signal filter leverages higher timeframes to confirm that your trades align with larger trends, which is particularly useful in volatile markets where smaller timeframes can be noisy. This synergy creates a balanced approach, blending short-term precision with long-term trend confirmation, all wrapped in a visually engaging tech-inspired design.
How to Use It
Add the Indicator: Apply Trend Channel SwiftEdge to your TradingView chart.
Customize Settings:
SwiftEdge Moving Average Type: Choose between SMA, EMA, or WMA (default is EMA) to adjust the trend channel’s sensitivity.
SwiftEdge MA Length: Set the period for the moving average (default is 14).
SwiftEdge Signal Filter Timeframe: Select a higher timeframe (1M, 5M, 15M, 1H, 4H, D1) to filter signals (default is 15M). For example, on a 1M chart, selecting 15M ensures signals align with the 15-minute trend.
Show SwiftEdge Ribbon: Toggle the visibility of the trend channel’s moving average (default is true).
Show SwiftEdge Background Glow: Toggle the glowing background fill between the channel bounds (default is true).
Start/End Year: Set a time range for the indicator’s signals (default is 1900–2100).
Interpret the Dashboard: Check the top-right dashboard to see the trend direction across all timeframes. Use this to understand the broader market context.
Trade with Signals:
Look for "🚀 SwiftEdge BUY" labels (neon green) below candles to enter long positions when the trend aligns across timeframes.
Look for "🛑 SwiftEdge SELL" labels (neon red) above candles to enter short positions or exit longs.
Ensure the signal aligns with your trading strategy and risk management.
What Makes It Original?
Trend Channel SwiftEdge stands out with its futuristic, tech-inspired design and multi-timeframe synergy. Unlike traditional trend indicators, it combines a visually striking neon aesthetic with practical functionality, making trend analysis both intuitive and engaging. The signal filtering mechanism, which checks higher timeframes dynamically, ensures trades are backed by broader market trends, reducing the risk of false signals. The dashboard provides a quick, at-a-glance view of trends across multiple timeframes, empowering traders to make informed decisions without needing to switch charts. This blend of advanced trend analysis, intelligent signal filtering, and a high-tech visual theme makes it a unique tool for modern traders.
Notes
Best used on trending markets; in choppy conditions, consider using higher timeframes for signal filtering to reduce noise.
Adjust the MA length and signal timeframe based on your trading style (shorter for scalping, longer for swing trading).
