1. Overview & Purpose
The Engulfing Bar Paradigm (EBP) is a multi-timeframe price-action tool built to help traders identify important engulfing candles on higher timeframes and use them to define daily market bias and structure.
At its core, the indicator detects strong high-timeframe engulfing candles. These are candles where price takes one side of the previous candle’s range and closes beyond its body, suggesting a shift in control. When this happens, it provides a structural reference that traders use to interpret directional context, making these candles useful for setting bias rather than reacting to short-term noise.
Once an EBP forms, the indicator automatically highlights and measures the key parts of that engulfing move. This helps traders understand how price is behaving after the displacement and how structure develops across lower timeframes.
The indicator is designed to work across multiple asset classes and timeframes, allowing traders to align intraday price action with higher-timeframe intent. It does not provide buy or sell signals. Instead, it offers a structured way to read the market, build bias, and make more informed decisions based on price behaviour and context.

2.1. High-Timeframe Engulfing Detection
The indicator monitors a user-selected higher timeframe and automatically identifies valid bullish and bearish engulfing candles. These engulfing moves represent strong participation and often mark areas where control shifts in the market. Each detected EBP acts as a reference point for bias and subsequent price interaction.
2.2. Directional Bias Control
Users can choose to display bullish only, bearish only, or both types of setups. This helps traders stay aligned with their intended market bias and avoid distractions from opposing setups.
2.3. Engulfing Range Mapping
Once an EBP forms, the indicator plots the full engulfing range and divides it into four equal sections (quartiles). These levels help traders understand how price interacts within the range and where reactions are more likely to occur.
2.4. Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) Inside the EBP
The indicator detects Fair Value Gaps created during the engulfing move. These gaps highlight areas of imbalance where price may later react. Traders can choose whether to display mitigated and unmitigated gaps for cleaner analysis.

Optional projection levels extend beyond the engulfing range, helping traders frame potential continuation or expansion once price moves away from the structure. These levels are intended to support expectations, not predictions.

EBPs can be filtered to appear only after session liquidity has been taken, allowing traders to focus on engulfing structures that occur after stop-runs or range sweeps. Multiple session windows are supported, with built-in checks to ensure logical use.

3. How to Use the Indicator
3.1. Select the Higher Timeframe
Begin by choosing a higher timeframe for the EBP (such as Daily or 4H). This timeframe defines where the indicator will look for engulfing structures. The chosen timeframe should be equal to or higher than the chart timeframe.
3.2. Identify the Active Engulfing Structure
When a valid engulfing structure forms on the selected higher timeframe, the indicator highlights the engulfing range on the chart. This structure becomes the reference point for understanding current market conditions and directional bias.

this session,” not an absolute number.
2) DeltaProxy Pressure Model (wick-aware)
For XAUUSD, wicks matter (stop-runs, liquidity grabs). DeltaProxy infers intent
from body direction + wick bias, then adjusts by ATR/spread (clamped) to avoid
fake extremes. Output is bounded for stability.
3) Sweep → Reclaim Validation (liquidity proof)
A sweep is only meaningful if price reclaims (closes back inside). You can use:
- Swing sweeps (structure)
- VWAP/VA sweeps (mean/value behavior)
- Gate sweeps (manual XAUMO levels)
- Any (broad coverage)
4) Imbalance Dominance Filter (validated triggers)
Imbalance logic confirms DOMINANCE using thresholds such as:
- ratio (Demand/Supply)

1) تطبيع الجلسات (Europe/London)
الحجم الخام يختلف بين الجلسات (آسيا/لندن/نيويورك). عند تفعيل التطبيع يقوم
السكربت بتطبيع الحجم بخطوط أساس لكل جلسة، فيصبح “حجم مرتفع” = مرتفع مقارنة
بهذه الجلسة، وليس رقمًا مطلقًا.
2) نموذج الضغط DeltaProxy (ذكي مع الذيول)
في الذهب، الذيول مهمة (Stop-runs وسحب سيولة). DeltaProxy يستنتج النية من
اتجاه الجسم + انحياز الذيول، ثم يضبط بعامل ATR/Spread (ضمن حدود) لتجنب
التطرفات الوهمية. الناتج محدود لاستقرار أفضل.
3) تحقق Sweep → Reclaim (إثبات السيولة)
السويب لا يهم إلا إذا حدث Reclaim (إغلاق داخل النطاق مرة أخرى). يمكنك اختيار:
- Swing sweeps (بنية/سوينجات)
- VWAP/VA sweeps (قيمة/متوسط)
- Gate sweeps (مستويات XAUMO اليدوية)
- Any (تغطية واسعة)
4) فلتر سيادة عدم التوازن (Triggers مُتحققة)
منطق عدم التوازن يؤكد “السيادة” باستخدام عتبات مثل:
- Ratio (الطلب/العرض)
- Dominance Share (حصة السيطرة)
- Z-Score لصافي الضغط مقابل خط الأساس
اختياري: اشتراط وجود Sweep/Reclaim قبل اعتماد عدم التوازن.
5) توافق متعدد الأطر عبر BlendNet (تنفيذ 15د مفلتر بسياق 1س)
يتم مزج صافي HTF داخل صافي LTF عبر وزن:

## Timeframe consistency: why it works on Daily, Weekly, Monthly
You added **Lock to last completed Daily bar**.
That means:
* it uses the **same daily reference point** no matter what chart timeframe you switch to
* your RS score won’t “walk around” just because the current day/week/month is still forming
**Practical meaning:**
If your score says 72, it should be 72 whether you’re looking at Daily, Weekly, or Monthly (as of the last completed day).

## The “RS New High” marker (NH) — what it’s telling you
The marker shows when your RS score hits a **new high** over your chosen lookback period (default ~252 trading days).
### In plain terms:
> “This stock is now showing its strongest relative performance vs the market (in about a year).”
### Why it’s powerful
A lot of the best leaders:
* show RS new highs **before** price breaks out
* or show RS new highs **during** breakouts
**So NH is a “leadership confirmation” signal.**
### How to use NH in real life
* **Best case:** RS hits a new high **while price is near breakout levels**
→ this often means institutions are accumulating and the stock is acting like a leader
* **Okay case:** price makes new highs but RS does not
→ stock is rising, but it’s not leading (could still work, but less attractive)

## Divergences: when RS and price disagree
This is one of the most useful ways to use RS.
### Bearish divergence (warning)
**Price makes a higher high, but RS makes a lower high.**
In simple terms:
> “The stock is still going up, but it’s losing leadership versus the market.”
This often shows up before:

* trend weakening
* rotation into stronger names
**It’s a caution sign, not an automatic sell.**

Stress & Recovery Daily Stock/BTC This indicator is a stress → recovery regime tool designed for Daily charts (Bitcoin and equities). It combines Williams Vix Fix (WVF) to detect panic/capitulation conditions (potential bottoms) with RSI vs EMA(RSI) to confirm the start of a recovery phase — but only when that recovery occurs within a configurable number of bars after a WVF panic event.
It is not a generic trend indicator. It focuses on one specific sequence:
Panic spike (WVF) → Recovery confirmation (RSI crossing above EMA(RSI)).
What it Shows
1) Red Bottom Shadow (Panic Zone)
A red shaded area below the baseline appears when WVF triggers a panic condition. This highlights periods where downside pressure and “panic-like” behavior are elevated.
To avoid clutter, the red triangle marker (▼) is plotted only once per red cluster, specifically on the last bar of the panic cluster (end of the WVF signal streak).
2) Green State Ribbon (Recovery Regime)
A green ribbon above the baseline indicates a recovery regime. You can choose how the green signal behaves:
Crossover only: green is active only on the single bar where RSI crosses above EMA(RSI).
State (RSI > EMA): green stays active as long as RSI remains above EMA(RSI).
3) Amber Ribbon (Conflict State)
If panic (WVF) and recovery (green state) overlap, the ribbon turns amber.
This indicates a mixed condition: panic is still present, but momentum is attempting to reverse.
4) Green Triangle Marker (▲) — Validated Recovery Start
A green triangle (▲) appears only when RSI crosses above EMA(RSI) AND that crossover happens within N bars from the most recent WVF panic zone. This time-window filter helps avoid unrelated RSI crossovers that occur far from capitulation events.
How to Use
- Treat red shadow as a “panic/stress zone”.
- Look for the green triangle (▲) as the first validated recovery trigger after panic.
- Use green ribbon as a recovery regime filter (especially in “State” mode).
- Use amber ribbon as a caution zone (overlap = mixed signals).
This indicator is best used as a context and timing filter, not as a complete trading system by itself.

1. Navigating the Settings (Inputs)

Dashboard Aesthetics: Use this to move the dashboard (e.g., to "Bottom Left") or change the background transparency.
Dashboard Data Toggles: What to display on dashboard.
Technical Settings: This is where you adjust the UT Bot Key and RSI lengths/MACD. For beginners, the default settings are usually best.
SMA/EMA and VWAP Lines: Can add up to 5 SMA and 3 EMA lines and fully customizable. By default SMA 610 ( for lowest bottom) and classical EMA 9, 20, 200 and VWAP will display.
MTF Timeframes: You can choose which timeframes the dashboard monitors. By default, it tracks from 5m up to 1D to show you the "Big Picture" trend.
2. Understanding the Dashboard & Ribbon
The dashboard acts as your "Control Center," aggregating data so you don't have to switch charts.
Trend Ribbon (Cloud): When the cloud is Green, the immediate trend is bullish. When it is Red, the trend is bearish.
Ribbon Trend (MTF): This row shows if the ribbon is bullish or bearish across other timeframes.
Confluence %: This is your most important number. A score of 80% or higher means almost all indicators (MACD, RSI, Trends) are aligned in one direction.
3. Setting Up Individual Alerts
One of the most powerful features of this script is the ability to trigger alerts individually.
Select Your Triggers: In the indicator settings under "7. Alert Thresholds," check only the boxes you want (e.g., Bullish Ribbon Flip). By default, all other alerts are unchecked to prevent spam.
Create the Alert: Click the "Alert" icon (Alarm Clock) on the TradingView sidebar.
Condition: Select "Analytics" and then select "Any alert() function call".
Frequency: Choose "Once Per Bar Close" to ensure the signal is confirmed before you get a notification.
How to Trade:
🟢 The Bullish "Perfect Trade" Checklist
To confirm a high-probability Long entry, aim for as many of these "Green" signals as possible:
Trend Ribbon Flip: The primary ribbon cloud on your chart has turned Green, and price is trading above it.
Confluence Score ≥ 80%: The dashboard shows a bullish confluence of 80% or higher, indicating that RSI, MACD, and Trends are aligned.
MTF Alignment: At least 4 out of the 5 timeframes (e.g., 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D) show a BULL status.
Trend Status: The "Trend Source" row (EMA 200 or SMA 200) reads BULLISH, confirming the long-term trend is in your favor.
UT Bot Confirmation: A tiny BUY label has appeared on the chart (confirmed on bar close).
RSI Momentum: The RSI is above its Moving Average (TRUE) but has not yet crossed the Overbought (80) threshold. Look out for Yellow caution to indicate RSI is OB/OS (Above the candle is OB, below the candle is OS.
🔴 The Bearish "Perfect Trade" Checklist
To confirm a high-probability Short entry, look for these "Red" signals:
Trend Ribbon Flip: The ribbon cloud has turned Red, and price is trading below the basis line.
Confluence Score ≤ 20% (80% Bearish): The aggregate signal shows strong bearish pressure.
MTF Alignment: The higher timeframes (TF 4 and TF 5) specifically show a BEAR status, ensuring you aren't "fighting the trend".
Trend Status: Price is trading below the 200 EMA/SMA, showing the dashboard Trend Status as BEARISH.
UT Bot Confirmation: A tiny SELL label has appeared on the chart.
MACD State: The MACD Fast line is below the Signal line (FALSE on the "MACD > Sig" row).

The swing detection lookback period is configurable, allowing you to adjust sensitivity based on your trading timeframe and style.

Volume heat map calculations may be computationally intensive on lower timeframes with high lookback values.

It focuses on the interaction between relative volume expansion, adaptive volatility structure, and directional momentum alignment to help users interpret active market conditions.
The script is intended specifically for liquid U.S. equities during the New York session and is not designed for use outside this context.
Intended Usage and Scope
• Timeframe: 1 hour only
• Market hours: New York session
• Asset class: U.S. equities with consistent volume
• Style: Intraday structure and momentum evaluation
• Alerts: Available for all signal types
Core Framework
The script evaluates market behavior through three interdependent components that must align before a setup is displayed:
Relative volume behavior
Volatility expansion and contraction
Directional momentum context
This structure helps filter low-participation periods and reduce noise.
Relative Volume Analysis
The script compares current volume to a rolling 14-period average to identify periods where participation meaningfully deviates from typical conditions.
Elevated volume often occurs during session opens or active repricing phases. When volume remains muted, the script suppresses signals to avoid low-quality environments.
Adaptive Volatility Structure
Volatility bands are calculated using an 8-period true range measurement. These bands adjust dynamically based on recent volatility rather than remaining static.
During elevated participation, the bands compress to reflect tighter price acceptance. As volatility expands, the bands trail price to help visualize directional structure.
Directional Momentum Context
Directional context is determined using a dual moving average relationship.
• When short-term momentum is above longer-term momentum, the script allows only bullish evaluations
• When short-term momentum is below longer-term momentum, the script allows only bearish evaluations
This alignment reduces counter-directional signals and helps maintain structural consistency. The filter can be disabled if users wish to study range behavior.
Signal Classification
The script displays two types of informational labels:
Volume-Aligned Signals
These appear only when directional momentum and relative volume expansion align at candle close.
Momentum Rotation Signals
These indicate directional shifts regardless of volume and are intended to provide context rather than standalone triggers.
All signals are confirmed only after the candle closes. No intrabar logic is used.
Stop and Target Reference Plotting
When conditions align, the script plots visual reference levels:
• A stop reference positioned beyond the momentum structure
• A projected target reference calculated using a fixed 2R multiple relative to the stop distance
These levels are provided for consistency and planning. They are not forecasts or guarantees.
Session and Timing Considerations
The script is designed specifically for New York market hours. Liquidity and participation outside this window often distort volume and volatility behavior.
Earnings sessions should be treated with caution, as event-driven price action can override normal structural behavior.
Opening Range Consideration
The first one hour candle of the New York session can display elevated volatility due to initial repricing. Allowing additional candles to form may provide clearer structural information before evaluating signals.
Why One Hour and New York Session
The one hour timeframe balances structure and responsiveness while reducing lower-timeframe noise. New York trading hours provide the most reliable volume profile for U.S. equities, making relative volume analysis more meaningful.
