Moving Averages as Support Resistance MTFHello Traders!
As most of you know that Moving Averages with the lengths 50, 100, 150 and 200 are very important. We should use these this moving averages to figure out S/R levels, the possible reversals points, trend direction etc. we should check these moving averages on Higher Time Frames as well. for example if you look at the chart with 5mins time frame, you should also check it in 1hour and 4hour time frames to see to big picture and main trend. this is important as trend is your friend and you should not take positions against the trend.
I developed this script to show them clearly and make the chart understandable. 1 resistance line above the price and 1 support line below the price, it shows the moving average type, length, time frame and S/R level.
You have option to show SMA or EMA and to include/exclude current time frame, because you may want to see only MAs from higher time frames. you should set higher time frames accordingly.
if you add all moving averages for current and higher time frame the chart looks very crowded as following example:
The script makes it clear to understand the chart better, here an example:
It can show when S/R was broken and you get alert. here an example:
You have coloring and style options, you can change line style and colors as you wish:
Enjoy!

[JRL] Murrey Math LinesMurrey Math Lines are support and resistance lines based on geometric mathematical formulas developed by T.
H. Murrey. MM lines are a derivation of the observations of W.D. Gann. Murrey's geometry facilitate the use of Gann's theories in a somewhat easier application. According to Gann's theory, price tends to trend and retrace in 1/8th intervals. The most important MM line levels are the 0/8, 4/8 and 8/8 levels, which typically provide strong support and resistance points. The 3/8 and 5/8 levels represent the low and high of the typical trading range. When price is above the typical trading range, it is considered overbought, and when it is below it is considered oversold. The 2/8 and 6/8 levels provide strong pivot points.
Some of the other Murrey Math indicators on TradingView use different formulas and therefore produce varying results. I've checked my indicator against MM indicators on other platforms and it is consistent with those indicators.
This indicator also allows users to switch to alternative timeframes for analysis and it includes labels for the MM lines. If you have any suggestions or comments, please leave them below.
Cheers!
SuperTrend MTF [Anan]Hello friends,
As per many experts, supertrend indicator is best to use in combination with other indicators like MACD and RSI.
The best thing about supertrend it sends out accurate signals on precise time. The indicator offers quickest technical analysis to enable the intraday traders to make faster decisions. It is extremely simple to use and understand.
However, the indicator is not appropriate for all the situations. It works when the market is trending. Hence it is best to use for short-term technical analysis. Supertrend uses only the two parameters of ATR and multiplier which are not sufficient under certain conditions to predict the accurate direction of the market.
Understanding and identifying Bull and Bear signals in supertrend is the main crux for the intraday traders. Both the downtrends as well uptrends are represented by the indicator. The flipping of the indicator over the closing price indicates signal. A Bull signal is indicated in green color whereas Bear signal is given as the indicator turns red.
Options:
- Change calculation source ( default SuperTrend uses: hl2)
- Change calculation method (default SuperTrend uses: RMA)
- Additional six multi-time frames SuperTrends
Borjas Tarh Horizontals S/RBorjas Tarh Horizontals

In the Setting, you should optimize the values according to each time frame of the ticker.
Pivot Length : Number of bars to use to calculate pivot
Max Breaks : Maximum number of times a line can be broken before it's invalidated
Max Distance % : Maximum distance PA can move away from line before it's invalidated
Frontrun/Overshoot Threshold % : If PA reverses within this distance of an existing S&R line, consider it a Frontrun / Overshoot
You can copy it and make it better.
Pivot Support and Resistance Finder [JV] V1Hi Traders.
This is my first attempt of writing an indicator.
Let me start by saying I could never have done this without lmatl and WMX_Q_System_Trading who were and are an incredible source of inspiration.
This indicator shows horizontal Pivot Support and Resistance . It draws up to 4 horizontal lines extending to the right from and adds labels to High and Low Pivot Candles . It also draws the Support / Resistance that is currently forming.
You can select the number of lines on the current timeframe.
There are some options in Settings:
Current timeframe pivot settings
Show and hide levels of the current timeframe
Change colors
Extend Lines
Any suggestions are more than welcome!
I also welcome donations, no matter how small ;-)

TRY Me - Turkish Lira Quote Currency DivergencesThis is a conceptual indicator that converts the main chart series' quote currency from U.S. dollar to Turkish Lira. Should only be used with USD pairs unless you change the 'Pair' input.
Divergences are created by the difference in price due to the incredible changes in TRY value. The candle colors turn to grey when the forex exchange is closed; this is done to show you that the quote currency value won't change.
Support and resistance levels are also possible to be drawn.
Options to configure are changing the quote pair, colors, and turning the divergences on or off.
NSDT Background Bear Bull DayA very basic script that changes the background color of the chart to Green if the price closes over the previous day close, and to Red if the price closes under the previous day close. This allows you to easily see if it is currently a Bull or Bear market with a glance. Alerts added.
Kviateq - Session PivotsFirst of all, I must say that this script wouldn't be possible without the help of one of the best script developers on TradingView - @ahancock (thanks a bunch for your help)
This script draws opening ranges for each of the sessions - Tokyo, London and New York and plots session high, low and pivot range of the previous session.
So if you trade London session - you would only take longs if we're above the Tokyo pivot range and vice versa for shorts.
Often times previous session's highs act as resistance and lows act as support, so careful trading around those levels.
It is obviously meant for lower timeframes, since each of the sessions only lasts a few hours.
Default settings are set to the exchange that I use and my timezone (GMT +7), so you might need to adjust the settings accordingly.
Tokyo - 12am GMT
London - 7am GMT
New York - 12pm GMT
Heiken Ashi Pivot Breakout Trailing StopThis is a heiken ashi pivot based trailing stop for breakout entries and exits. It's possibly related to the Swing Index System by Welles Wilder or an alternative to it that I came up with, in case determining the swings on the Accumulative Swing Index is too much of a burden. It is believed that the ASI uses the calculation of heiken ashi in its formula. This does not use the ASI as a bottom indicator in the chart but instead uses the heiken ashi bars on the top of the chart to objectively find the swing pivots . These swings pivots act as support and resistance and can be used to confirm the start of a breakout or the end of one.
Suppose you find a chart pattern or setup, such as divergence or a pennant in the RSI , a pattern on the ASI, and/or on the chart, or the end of an elliot wave , etc and want to confirm a strong breakout and ride it to the end. Many trailing stops won't be able to confirm the beginning or would last too long or not long enough to exit out of one. On an uptrend, when the price breaks below the last swing low pivot , it can confirm the end of the breakout. On a downtrend, when the price breaks above the last swing high pivot , it can confirm the end of the breakout.
This trailing stop is not meant to replace trend following ones. The swing pivots can vary yet the price can still continue at an uptrend whereas this heiken ashi pivot based trailing stop exits as soon as it goes above or below the last resistance point. These swing points can end up being too close for trend following but can work well for breakout trading. The bigger the chart pattern or breakout, the more reliable the exit signal will be in my opinion. This is an experimental idea that I came up with from trying to interpret the ASI.

scaled.orders [highwater]FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES
There are multiple tools that allow you to place "scaled orders" on your exchange, namely Alertatron and Bybit Tools. This script is based on some Alertatron features, but you can use it for any grid like order placing strategy. Even if thats not your thing it's an example of how to use arrays in pinescript.
FROM PRICE - is the price to start your orders.
TO PRICE - is the price your orders will end.
SCALED TYPES :
LINEAR - will distribute orders evenly between from and to price.
EASE IN - will cluster orders closer to from price, then start to widen the gaps as you move closer to to price.
EASE OUT - will have wider gaps near from price, and start to cluster near to price.
EASE IN OUT - will cluster orders near both from price and to price.
COUNT - number of orders in each scaled order.
Volatility Support & Resistance [LM]Hello guys,
I would like to introduce you volatility support and resistance horizontals. It draws line horizontal on high and low vhighly volatile candles. You can select lines on this timeframe and/or another one. It's done in the same spirit like my other indicators for horizontals
The colors are dynamic depending whether price is below or above the line:
for the current timeframe green is used for support and blue for resistance
for the other timeframe by default 4h orange is used for support and violet for resistance
There are various sections in setting:
general settings - here you can select ATR length, multiplier and show labels
show and hide section of the current timeframe
other timeframe
show and hide other timeframe horizontals
Any suggestions are welcome
52/N Weeks High/LowPlots 52 Weeks historical high and low with respect to each bar.
Works on all timeframes - minute, days, weeks, months - and always plots 52 weeks historical high and low.
The 52 weeks lookback window slides backwards as we plot for older / historical bars on the chart.
Instead of 52 weeks, number of weeks to look back can be specified using 'No. of weeks to lookback' parameter in Settings --> Inputs.
Style and color for 'High' and 'Low' plots can be changed through Settings --> Style
Session High and Session LowI have heard many people ask for a script that will identify the high and low of a specific session. So, I made one.
Important Note: This indicator has to be set up properly or you will get an error. Important things to note are the length of the range and the session definition. The idea is that you would set it up for what's relevant to your trading. Going too far back in the chart history will cause errors. Setting the session for a time that is not on the chart can cause errors. If you set it to look farther back than there are bars to display, you may get an error. What I've found is that if you get an error, you just need to change the settings to reflect available data and it will be able to compile the script. At the time of its publishing, the default range start is set to 10/01/2020. If you're looking at this years later, you'll probably have to set the range to something more recent.
Features:
Plot or Lines:
Using Plot (displayed), the indicator will track the high/low from the end of the session into the next session. Then at the start of the next session, it will start tracking the high/low of that session until its end, then track that high/low until the start of the next session then reset.
Using lines, it will extend horizontal lines to the right indefinitely. The number of sessions back that the lines apply to is a user-defined number of sessions. There are limits to the number of lines that can be cast on a chart (roughly 40-50). So, the maximum number of sessions you can apply the lines to is the last 21 sessions (42 lines total). That gets really noisy though so I can't imagine that is a limiting factor.
Colors:
You can change the background color and its transparency, as well as turn the background color on or off.
You can change the highs and lows colors
You can adjust the line width to your preference
Session Length:
You can use a continuous session covering any user-defined period (provided its not tooooo many candles back)
You can define the session length for intraday
You can exclude weekends
Display Options:
You can adjust the colors, transparency, and linewidth
You can display the plotline or horizontal lines
You can show/hide the background color.
You can change how many sessions back the horizontal lines will track
Let me know if there's anything this script is missing or if you run into any issues that I might be able to help resolve.
Here's what it looks like with Lines for the last 5 sessions and different background color.
MTF VWAP + Fibo Incremental deviationsI made a Fibo variant of my first script "VWAPs + devs" :
This new indicator give you the possibility to plot multi timeframes VWAP (D, W, M, 3M and 12M ) and Fibo deviations for each one.
VWAP is a powerfull indicator which is used by big players to get informations if the price is "overbought" or "oversold". Deviations give the opportunity to have supports and resistances in those "over"-zones.
I searched for better results and found those defaults values :
Fib 1 level : 0.618
Fib 2 level : 0.786
Fib 3 level : 1.000
Fib 4 level : 1.618
Fib 5 level : 2.618
In the thumbnail, we can see that the 1.618 deviation level made a great support on the last uptrend for BTCUSDT .
You can change each values but low ones as 0.382 and 0.5 don't give really interesting supports/resistances.
I made this script as clear and simple as possible with only one menu in the parameters.
Some examples of what you can do :
BTCUSDT (Binance) H4 / D, W, M, 3M ,12M VWAP without devs
BTCUSDT (Binance) M5 / Daily VWAP + Fibo devs
Hope this will be useful for you !
Silen's Pseudo VPVR / Pseudo Volume Profile Custom RangeDisclamer: This indicator does not use actual Volume data and doesn't display any Volume data. It creates a pseudo Volume Profile by counting the high-low-2 values of candles and simulates something that is similar to a Volume Profile without using any Volume data.
Core facts:
Creates a pseudo Volume Profile by counting values of candles and sorting them into a Profile.
Works for charts that don't provide any Volume Information.
Can display up to 5 different Value Levels.
Value level colors are (from largest to smallest level): Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue.
The Value levels can be used as Support and Resistance indicators.
The Custom Range of the Volume Profile can be adjusted from 10 to 1500 bars.
Much faster than the other custom pseudo VPVRs out there.
Shortcomings:
As the chart progresses with bars the line positions will distort to the left side. Refreshing the tradingview page or switching to another time interval fixes this. I might fix this issue in the future.
Does not use actual Volume nor display actual Volume.
Note: For those who wondered what happened to my first version of this indicator: It got taken down by Tradingview because it was misleading as to using the words "Volume Profile" and "Visible Range". I fully support their decision and I hope I could clear any misunderstandings! Give their team a heads up for the hard work they're doing in keeping this place clean and well organized!
Enjoy! :)
Market ProfileHello All,
This is Market Profile script. "Market Profile is an intra-day charting technique (price vertical, time/activity horizontal) devised by J. Peter Steidlmayer. Steidlmayer was seeking a way to determine and to evaluate market value as it developed in the day time frame. The concept was to display price on a vertical axis against time on the horizontal, and the ensuing graphic generally is a bell shape--fatter at the middle prices, with activity trailing off and volume diminished at the extreme higher and lower prices." You better search it on the net for more information, you can find a lot of articles and books about the Market Profile.
You have option to see Value Area, All Channels or only POC line, you can set the colors as you wish.
Also you can choose the Higher Time Frame from the list or the script can choose the HTF for you automatically.
Enjoy!
Displaced Moving Average Channel (DMA)What is This?
The Displaced Moving Average Channel (DMA) indicator is a combination of two moving averages calculated on the high and low of a set time period back which are displaced forward or backward with the center highlighted as a central channel.
What Information Can I Get Out of It?
This indicator can be used as a support or resistance as some moving averages are typically used as well as a tiny measure of recent volatility by looking at the spread between the top and bottom moving averages.
Where Did This Idea Come From?
I did not come up with the concept of this indicator since I was inspired to use this as a setup/trigger indicator in a potential trading strategy as seen in this whitepaper .
Logistic EMA w/ Signals by DGTLogistic Map Equation - The logistic map connects fluid convection, neuron firing, the Mandelbrot set and so much more.
This study is an attempt to apply Logistic Map Equation in Trading
Logistic Map Equation
Xn+1 = r * Xn * (1 - Xn)
Where,
r - growth rate
Xn - percentage of theoretical maximum of measured event (from 0 to 1)
(1 - Xn) - represents constraints of the environment, presents the idea of negative feedback
For trading the measured event will be the price of the instrument (price is commonly reffered as source in mathematicall forumlations),
hence
r - growth rate can be expressed as => change(source, length) / source, expressing r in such manner mades the equation dynamic with regards to the growth rate
Xn - percentage of theoretical maximum of the price for given duration can be expressed as => source / highest(length)
Putting pieces together we are ready to plot
Printed alone does not seem to provide much useful visualization for trading, in fact not easy to interpret especially when the market is an uptrend
What it has numerically,
Provides a ratio, where sudden changes are much more reflected thanks to negative feedback nature of the logistic equation.
As we know moving average indicators are lagging and the logistic map may fit here to reduce the lag
With this study you will find application of Logistic Map Equation with combination of Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
Logistic EMA (LEMA) and LEMA COLORS
one line with user defined periods of length, where the colors of the line will change automatically depending where the value is compared to 50-100-200 moving average
Multiple LEMAs : optional – three fixed lenght of 50-100-200 period lines
LEMA Signals
Various signals are added by using LEMA and applying some common market approaches. Use with caution and with conjunction of other indicators
Thanks to @allanster for the idea
A fascinating YouTube video explaining the logistic map - “This equation will change how you see the world (the logistic map)”

There were other scripts like this, but their code was ugly, filthy, smelly, and WET, so I did this.
ASFX EMAs, ADR, Asian Range, and Pivot PointsThis indicator combines the essential indicators that ASFX traders use, including the EMAs (8, 21, 50, 200, 800), the Average Daily Range, the Asian Range, and the Pivot Points.
The EMAs should be used as dynamic supports and resistances. We could use it to find entries like when there is a bullish engulfing coming off the 21 EMA.
The Average Daily Range tells us the how many pips the pair moves on average. We could use it to measure risk/reward ratios or see it as another resistance.
The Asian Range is displayed as two lines indicating the Asian Session's High and Low. This could help us to determine whether the pair is ready for a breakout. We might avoid setups that are still in the Asian Range as the pair might still be indecisive.
The Pivot Points are also another form of support and resistance which are calculated using the previous day's data. The Pivot Points displayed in this indicator only include the Pivot, R1, R2, R3, S1, S2, S3. (R4, R5, S4, S5 are not included)
All of these indicators should give us a read of the trend. If the EMAs are beautifully fanned out with the 8 EMA on the top and the 800 EMA on the bottom and the price is above the Asian Range and the Pivot, we might keep an eye for a long entry.
