How to fix the “Ad blocker detected” message on TradingView

If you're seeing the "Ad blocker detected" message, it means our platform isn't able to show ads. Usually, this happens when:

  • An ad blocker extension is active in your browser
  • Your browser has a built-in ad blocker (such as Safari, Brave, or Opera)
  • A VPN or proxy service is filtering ads by default
  • Antivirus or firewall software is blocking ad content

If any of these tools are running, TradingView may not load ads properly, which allows us to offer you free charting.

How to remove the message

To remove the "Ad blocker detected" message, you'll need to let TradingView display ads. Here are the most common ways to do that.

Whitelist TradingView in your ad blocker extension

  • Open your ad blocker's settings
  • Add TradingView.com to the list of allowed websites
  • Refresh the page after saving changes

Turn off built-in browser ad blocking

  • Some browsers (like Safari, Brave, or Opera) may block ads by default
  • Check your browser settings and disable content blocking for TradingView.com

Check your VPN or proxy settings

  • Many VPNs include ad-blocking features
  • If you're using one, disable ad filtering or whitelist TradingView

Review antivirus or firewall software

  • Certain security programs include ad-blocking filters
  • Open your software settings and allow ads on TradingView

If you've already whitelisted TradingView or disabled your ad blocker but still see the message, something else may still be blocking ads. Use this checklist to narrow it down:

  • Double-check your whitelist: Make sure TradingView.com is added correctly in your ad blocker settings
  • Look for other extensions: Privacy tools, script blockers, or cookie blockers can also interfere. Try disabling them one by one
  • Restart your browser: Some changes only take effect after a restart
  • Try a different browser: If ads load elsewhere, the issue is with your original browser's setup
  • Review VPN or DNS settings: Some services block ads at the network level. Disable ad filtering or whitelist TradingView
  • Check your antivirus or firewall: Certain security programs have built-in ad blocking. Adjust their settings if needed
