TradingView Creator Program (Paid Spaces) Terms
1. Overview
These Terms describe how the TradingView Creator Program (Pilot Stage) allows Authors to monetize their Pine Script indicators and strategies through Paid Spaces on TradingView.
By joining and participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms, along with TradingView’s Terms of Use, House Rules, and Privacy Policy.
TradingView may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted in the Help Center, and continued participation means you accept the revised Terms.
2. Key Definitions
- Author — a TradingView user approved to participate in the Creator Program and publish paid content.
- User (Subscriber) — any TradingView user who purchases a subscription to a Paid Space.
- Paid Space — a collection of invite-only indicators and strategies offered by an Author for a monthly fee.
- Program — the TradingView Creator Program, allowing Authors to earn money through Paid Spaces.
- Subscription — a paid, recurring monthly access plan for a Paid Space.
- Payout — the revenue amount distributed by TradingView to the Author after fees and adjustments.
3. Eligibility
- Participation in the pilot phase is by TradingView’s invitation only.
- Each Author can create one Paid Space containing up to 25 scripts (publicly available invite-only scripts are only allowed).
- Authors must have a TradingView Partner Program account with a valid payment method.
- Subscribing to Paid Spaces is currently available only on the web version of TradingView.
- Users from some regions — including, but not limited to, Iran, North Korea, and Russia — are not able to join the program due to legal restrictions.
- TradingView may suspend or remove an Author’s Paid Space at any time if these Terms or House Rules are violated.
4. Subscriptions
- Users can subscribe to a Paid Space directly on TradingView.
- By subscribing to a Paid Space, Users agree to these Program Terms and, if applicable, to the Author’s own terms published on their website. In case of any conflict, these Program Terms prevail.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly, following the same rules as TradingView plan payments.
- Users may cancel at any time in account settings. Access remains active until the end of the billing period.
- All billing, access, and renewals are managed automatically by TradingView.
- VAT or other applicable sales taxes are added where required by law.
- Free and paid TradingView users can subscribe.
TradingView is not responsible for any losses due to expired payment methods or failed transactions.
5. Commissions and Payouts
- TradingView collects all payments from Users and distributes revenue to Authors after applicable fees.
- A 15% platform fee is withheld from each transaction.
- Early pilot participants will retain a 0% platform fee, which will be grandfathered.
- Payouts are processed once per month, subject to a settlement period of up to 30 days.
- Payouts are made via the Author’s linked Partner Program account. The payouts requested by the end of the month are typically sent within the first 2 weeks of the following month.
- Payments and withdrawals are processed in USD only.
- Withdrawals can be made via PayPal (preferred) or wire transfer (receiver pays bank commission).
- TradingView will deduct refunded and chargeback amounts from Author’s earnings before withdrawal.
- Authors are responsible for paying all applicable taxes in their country of residence.
6. Taxes and Compliance
- Authors must provide accurate tax information when requested.
- If total annual earnings reach or exceed USD 600, TradingView may require submission of:
- Form W-9 (U.S. residents)
- Form W-8 (non-U.S. residents)
- Payouts may be suspended until the required forms are received.
- TradingView complies with applicable KYC/AML regulations and may request additional information to verify your identity.
7. Author Responsibilities
- Ensure that all paid content:
- is original and complies with TradingView’s House Rules,
- does not mislead users or infringe on third-party rights,
- is functional and maintained throughout the subscription period.
- Provide accurate descriptions.
- Respond to user questions or complaints in a timely manner.
- Notify TradingView before removing or modifying any scripts included in active subscriptions.
TradingView reserves the right to remove Paid Spaces that are inactive, misleading, or non-compliant.
8. TradingView Rights and Limitations
- TradingView may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program at any time.
- TradingView may feature or promote selected Paid Spaces at its discretion.
- TradingView does not guarantee visibility, sales, or earnings.
- TradingView shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.
- Continued use of the Program after updates constitutes acceptance of any new Terms.
9. Personal Data
TradingView processes personal and financial data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By participating, Authors consent to TradingView collecting, storing, and processing their data for the following purposes:
- Payment handling and compliance,
- Program administration,
- Communication related to marketing and platform updates.
10. Termination
- Authors may leave the Program at any time by deactivating their Paid Space.
- TradingView may suspend or terminate participation immediately if:
- the Author violates these Terms or House Rules,
- fraudulent or misleading behavior is detected, or
- required information is not provided.
- Upon termination, active subscribers will retain access until their billing period ends, after which access will be automatically revoked.
