For the first time since 2014, the price of bitcoin (
BTCUSD) today traded above the middle line of a longer term channel (see dotted white line in above chart) which on its own is a very bullish technical event, incidental to the recent bullish price surge, now that it is trading above the middle regression line of the channel.
