EMKR - Emerging micro cap with a lot of potential.
EMCORE is a fiberoptic company with technology being used by the defense industry and satellite TV and cable internet providers. It's expected they will announce a positive earnings statement in a few weeks. In the short-term I suspect we'll see a nice bump in price leading up to the earnings announcement. In the long term I think they are looking like a company with solid prospects and I'd expect them to continue to grow over the next couple of years.
Trade chiuso: obiettivo raggiunto
Sold my 2/19 5$ calls at a 300% profit. It might have been smart to hold longer, I still think EMCORE is a good long hold, waiting for a possible dip to buy back in.
