OXY Occidental Petroleum Options Ahead of Earnings

If you haven`t bought OXY before the last run:

Then analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of OXY Occidental Petroleum prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 60usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2024-5-17,
for a premium of approximately $2.32.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

OXY traded at $60.87 after earnings, and the Calls went up from $2.32 (when I wrote this article) to $3.70 at the close on friday (higher intraday), for about 60% gain!
