Gold falls - stabilizing market liquidity
XAU / USD trend forecast February 21, 2025
⚠️ In a development favoring bullion, US real yields, which share an inverse relationship with gold prices, have receded by three basis points to 2.04%.
Meanwhile, as per the latest data from the World Gold Council, central banks have significantly increased their gold acquisitions, marking a substantial 54% year-over-year surge to 333 tonnes in the aftermath of Trump’s electoral triumph.
Additionally, market expectations indicate that the Federal Reserve is poised to implement a 41.5 basis point rate cut in 2025, as reflected in money market Fed funds futures.
