A buy-and-sell backtesting strategy useful for testing the reliability of the Bullish Engulfing candlestick pattern.


Introduction to the Strategy
Long-only, single-order trading. Only one order is managed at a time, and no consecutive orders are opened unless the previous order has been closed.

Position sizing: 30% of the initial capital.

Take-profit calculated as a percentage of equity at the time of the long position. Default: +2%.


Stop-loss calculated as a percentage of equity at the time of the long purchase. Default: -2%.


User Interface

Take Profit: Set the take profit percentage
Stop Loss: Set the stop loss percentage
Position Sizing: Set the position size to use for each order
Adjusting the design settings will change parameters such as the pattern colors.
Using Detect Trends, you can identify the pattern by applying filters to optimize the signal. Default: SMA50.
